There aren't a ton of mattes in the palette anyway, but "Buck" is my favorite one. The shimmers are definitely visibly shimmery, but they aren't too sparkly I don't think. I wear these shades to work every day and I think they're very office-appropriate (shimmers and mattes).Danielle S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/01592568815731956102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4213877126985734771.post-22832029011052977092012-08-17T13:07:19.951-04:002012-08-17T13:07:19.951-04:00Are the matte shades very pigmented? Also do the shimmers look really shimmery cos im worried i will look to sparkly thanks xxAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4213877126985734771.post-23856651412451881082012-08-09T18:58:41.627-04:002012-08-09T18:58:41.627-04:00Since you just started wearing makeup, I think thi...Since you just started wearing makeup, I think this palette would actually be a really good choice for you because the neutral shades are a good introduction to eyeshadow. They'll be perfect for wearing to school and won't look too crazy since they're nice browns and pinks. I use my palette every day and definitely think that it's worth the $50 price tag, but I guess it's mostly a factor of whether you want to spend that much right away. I would only recommend that you hold off on buying it if you can't truly afford it right now, because there are also some great neutral shades you can get for much cheaper (although they might not be as high of quality). Whatever you end up with, I encourage you to buy cruelty-free products (not tested on animals!) -- check out leapingbunny.org for a huge list of companies that don't test. I hope that helps!Danielle S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/01592568815731956102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4213877126985734771.post-44940372734988179442012-08-07T23:53:14.434-04:002012-08-07T23:53:14.434-04:00I am thinking of getting this palette, but im scar...I am thinking of getting this palette, but im scared i won't get $50 worth of use from it! Im a sophmore in high school, and i just started getting into makeup last school year, and didn't even wear eyeshadow until the last part of it. One easy way to tell is: do you look better in silver jewelry (cool undertones) or gold (warm undertones)? Even though the shades in Naked 2 are "cooler," I think they would still look good on most people regardless of their undertones.Danielle S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/01592568815731956102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4213877126985734771.post-84338265560971557932012-08-06T20:18:39.136-04:002012-08-06T20:18:39.136-04:00how do you know to choose between the cooler or wa...how do you know to choose between the cooler or warmer palette? i have dark brown hair, brown eyes, tanned skin...i like both but can't figure out which one will work better and look better with me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4213877126985734771.post-43893295359943247372012-07-21T14:49:47.709-04:002012-07-21T14:49:47.709-04:00Even though Naked 2 is technically "cooler,&q...Even though Naked 2 is technically "cooler," I think you could probably get away with either the cooler shades or the warmer ones with Naked. I personally love the primer, and I think it's a better product to have than the Lip Junkie. I would recommend going with the original Naked palette, but I guess it's up to you on whether you want the dual or one sided brush. I think you'll be really happy with whichever one you chose, though!Danielle S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/01592568815731956102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4213877126985734771.post-54208826309157989562012-07-21T11:33:00.414-04:002012-07-21T11:33:00.414-04:00I have light skin( tan in the summer) blonde hair ...I have light skin( tan in the summer) blonde hair blue eyes and I think I have a neutral skin tone.
