February and March Emma & Chloé Review and Coupon

I received the February Emma & Chloé box a little bit late, so I'm reviewing it with the March box. As usual, both featured a beautifully-designed piece of French jewelry!

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review. Post contains affiliate links.

Emma & Chloé sends a handmade jewelry item from an up-and-coming French designer each month. Sometimes boxes include extra items, like beauty products or accessories. You can choose to receive either gold or silver jewelry when you sign up.

The boxes come with a gazette with information about the designer, the featured piece, and other pieces available from the Emma & Chloé shop. You'll also receive 20 percent off everything in the shop for the life of your subscription.

Here are the pricing options:
  • Monthly: $35 per month
  • Three Months: $99 every three months ($33 per month)
  • Six Months: $186 every six months ($31 per month)
  • One Year: $348 annually ($29 per month, equivalent to two free boxes)

The February item was from the Les Particuliéres collection by Emma & Chloé and it is called the Pola necklace. The design is inspired by the sun and the moon and is comprised of a solid and hollow part, like an eclipse. I love this design! It'll go great with any outfit.

There's more information about the Pola necklace and other pieces available in the Emma & Chloé boutique.

The simple design is perfectly matched to my style. I especially love the dimpling of the metal.

The March Emma & Chloé box featured a bracelet by Audrey Langlois that's delicate and perfect for spring.

Audrey Langlois is passionate about the beauty of stones and their irregularities. Audrey designs her collections around the story told by each stone. Her creations are an expression of the raw character of the stones.

The Salome bangle is so beautiful! It's made with gilded brass with fine gold (or immersed in silver, if you choose that style) with four mother of pearl stones on either side of the piece. It's great for morning or night looks and is lovely alone or paired with other bracelets.
Bottom Line: Both the February and March items from Emma & Chloé are perfect! I love their simple styles and high quality design.

Spiffy Socks Review and Coupon

One of the best simple pleasures in life is a nice pair of comfortable socks. Spiffy Socks sends bamboo fiber socks in a variety of fun patterns to keep your collection looking great!

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Spiffy Socks sends one pair of stylish and light socks for $12.95 per month. Shipping is free in the U.S. Their socks are made from bamboo fiber, which is super comfortable (twice as soft as cotton) and perfect for sensitive skin. The eco-friendly bamboo fibers are gentler than most synthetic fibers.

Other benefits of the socks, besides their fun designs, are that they have antibacterial fighting properties, thermo-regulating abilities, and shock and wrinkle protection. The socks are odorless and created with natural antibacterial bamboo fibers that wick away moisture and eliminate odor-creating bacteria. The socks warm comfortably on cold days but stay cool when hot. The fabric helps reduce moisture and the hollow structure of the fibers make them super absorbent. Lastly, the socks are naturally durable and never require any ironing and they won't give you an electric shock (like from static electricity).

The socks arrived in a cute little green mailer. They have sizes to fit men's shoe sizes 6 to 12.5 and women's sizes 5 to 10. Extra large sizes are coming soon.

The socks came with an info card that provides more details about the bamboo fiber materials and their benefits. The socks are made with 75 percent bamboo fiber and 25 percent microfiber and are produced in China.

I have to admit that I requested the specific Bunnies pattern because I love rabbits and I figured these would be great for Easter. Normally you are not able to choose which pattern you receive in the monthly subscription, but you can buy specific designs in the Spiffy Socks shop for $20 per pair.

The socks really are super comfy! The fiber is so light but deceivingly warm. I always have cold feet, and when I put these on they made my toes nice and toasty warm, but not too hot. I obviously can't test their moisture-wicking in this current cold weather, but based on the quality so far I don't doubt that they do a great job with that as well.
Bottom Line: If you like fun, high quality socks then you should definitely give Spiffy Socks a try! They have a ton of bright, colorful patterns and the socks live up to all of their advertised qualities.

March Gramma in a Box Review and Coupon

The March Gramma in a Box featured three projects for, of course, St. Patrick's Day! The treats were fun and easy to make, and were even more enjoyable to eat.

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Gramma in a Box sends three cookie and candy crafts each month, with enough supplies to create 20 or so individual treats. The crafts are usually pretty easy to make, so they're great for sharing with family members of all ages. Everything you'll need is included in the box, save for household basics like a spoon or bowl for mixing.

Here are the pricing options:
  • Monthly: $20 per month
  • Three Months: $55 every three months (save $5)
  • Six Months: $110 every six months (save $10)
  • 12 Months: $220 every 12 months (save $20)
Shipping is free to the U.S. and taxes are included. If you want to cancel, do so by the 25th of the month.

There is an info card for each project with instructions, ingredients, and possible allergens listed. The instructions are well written and easy to follow, but if you're more of a visual person, you can view the Gramma in a Box Facebook or Youtube pages (links below) for instructional videos for each project.

The first project is Shamrock Pretzel Pops. It involved melting chocolate discs and then using it to attach three pretzels into the shape of a shamrock. There were also sprinkles to add for decoration. The pretzels held together well once the chocolate set.

There were materials for more pretzel pops, but unfortunately my pretzels broke in transit so I only had enough to make two full pops.

The second project is Crispy Pot O'Gold Cups and was my favorite this month. To make, I used the leftover melted chocolate from the first project and mixed in the crispy cereal, then spooned some into the little paper cups. They were then finished off with little gold candies.

The third project is always cookies. The St. Patrick's Day Cookies were two sizes of shamrocks and two pots of gold, with yellow, white, and green frosting and green sprinkles. The cookies are pre-baked by Gramma, so it's advised that you complete your crafts within one week of receiving the box.

The pot of gold cookies were my favorite because I think they came out really well!
Bottom Line: The March Gramma in a Box had another set of fun and easy, and delicious!, projects. I always enjoy seeing the creative snacks each month and sharing them with my family. Next up is spring-themed crafts for April!

JORD Watches Review and Giveaway

I had been looking for a new watch when I was contacted by JORD about partnering for a review and giveaway. I had a very specific design in mind and was excited to find that their Hyde design was exactly what I was looking for!

*This product was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

JORD (pronounced "YODE") creates unique timepieces for a modern lifestyle. "Jord" is Swedish for "From Earth, land, or soil." All of their watches are made with high quality woods, including Acacia, Bamboo, Maple, and more. They're made with the same materials as Rolex watches!

What I love most about JORD, aside from their gorgeous watches, is that they are committed to having no part in deforestation. They abide by CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) regulations and are mindful of the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) list of threatened species. Some of their woods are sourced from trees that have already fallen naturally, and more exotic woods come from furniture remnants.

JORD has a variety of styles available for men and women, including designs that are made with leather bands (if the wood isn't your thing). I was looking specifically for a watch with a black band and entirely black face, and the Hyde ended up being the perfect watch!

The watch arrived in a sturdy box and was packaged around the above cushion for protection. The kit also comes with extra links, a polishing cloth, and a wood protectant.

The Hyde is technically a men's watch, but I have always been attracted to more masculine designs and I think this is a pretty unisex design. The band is made with ebony wood and the face has sapphire crystal glass and metal tipped hands. The case width is 43 mm, case thickness is 12 mm, and the band length is 150 mm. When I ordered my watch I was asked for my wrist size, and the watch fit perfectly on arrival.

The ebony is hand-finished and pretreated with tung oils. It is splash-proof, but obviously should not be submerged in water. You can easily clean the wood with lemon or orange oil extract. For storage, avoid extremely hot or cold temperatures and excessively dry or humid environments.

I LOVE this watch! I have pretty small wrists (16 cm diameter), but I don't think that the face is too big or overpowering. The sleek black face and ebony wood are gorgeous and easy to pair with gold or silver jewelry. This specific iteration of the Hyde watch is the "Ebony & Iron" color combination.

The ebony is sourced from Mozambique. It has a high natural luster and saturation of color. The straight grain is not easily made out but is fine and uniform in texture. I think the design is absolutely gorgeous and I love the minimal, strong statement it makes.

If you're into smaller pieces, the new Cora Polaris, Cassia, and Sier (women's styles) are great choices. You can view all of the women's watches here and all of the men's here.

JORD has generously put together a giveaway for one of  my readers to win a $100 gift card to their store! You can enter the giveaway at this page. The giveaway ends on April 21st.

March Daily Goodie Box Review

Daily Goodie Box is a fun and free way to sample a variety of products from great brands. It really is entirely free, and all you have to do in return is share your opinions on the products!

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Boxes are sent out monthly and contain all different types of products. Most of them are deluxe samples, but I've received full-sized products, too. Boxes aren't guaranteed, but if you sign up at the Daily Goodie Box website and create an account you may receive one. You can also increase your chances by interacting with them on social media, where they often give away boxes.

Daily Goodie Box really is free -- you'll never be asked for credit card or other payment information. When you create an account you'll fill out a quick survey about yourself and your household that will help Daily Goodie Box match boxes to users.

The March Daily Goodie Box had seven products inside:
  •  Prince & Spring Jackpot Popcorn: I got the sea salt flavor and I haven't tried it yet, but it looks yummy. The popcorn is Non-GMO Project verified as well.
  • Fyve Coconut Lime Lip Balm: This balm is made with certified organic ingredients and is certified cruelty free by PETA and Leaping Bunny. It has a smooth application and left my lips feeling soft and moisturized.
  • Natralia Eczema Moisturizing Lotion: I've had issues with eczema ever since I was little, so this lotion is perfect for me. Even if you don't have eczema, it's still great for dry skin of all types. It's made with colloidal oatmeal and has a thick texture, but it absorbed quickly into my skin.
  • Avitae Caffeinated Sparkling Water: I forgot to include this product in the picture above, but you can see it in the second photo in this post. I got the Berry Kiwi flavor and it was really refreshing. The flavor is light, and the water contains 90 mg of caffeine (about the same as a cup of coffee).
Bottom Line: The March Daily Goodie Box had a bunch of great products to try! I especially like the Natralia lotion and GLEEN cloth. Be sure to sign up at Daily Goodie Box so you can get a box, too!

March Shades Club Review and Coupon

I've become a big of a sunglasses addict, and Shades Club makes it easy to add to my collection. They send high quality shades each month, all in different stylish designs!

*Disclaimer: This box was purchased by See, Shop, Love! at a discounted rate in exchange for an honest review.

Shades Club sends a pair of sunglasses valued at around $100 for only $45 each month. They're manufactured in the same factories as the world's best brands and are incredible quality. The style and color is a surprise each month, but all of the shades I've gotten thus far have been excellent and it's fun to be surprised.

Here are their pricing options:
  • Monthly: $45
  • 4 Months: $112 ($28 per box)
  • 6 Months: $162 ($27 per box)
  • 12 Months: $288 ($24 per box)
All orders ship with free 2-3 day shipping to the U.S. and international shipping prices vary based on the destination.

The March Shades are called Rivieria and are available in four different color combinations. I received the tortoiseshell pattern. I think this style is generally called "clubmaster," and I really like the shape. I didn't have a pair like this previously, so this is a great addition to my collection.

As you can see, each pair also comes with a microfiber case that can be used as a cleaning cloth. You may also receive extra items here and there, such as a sunglass hanging kit or branded koozie. Your first box will come with the Shades branded fold up case (see that here).

The sunglasses are branded with the Shades logo in a few places, including the arms and on one ofthe lenses. The branding is perfect because it's subtle and still looks great.

The inside of the arms for this particular pair of Shades also has the Riviera style name and the Cozumel color name listed. The other color options are Playa, Tulum, and Holbox. You can purchase individual pairs of Shades from past boxes at their website.
Bottom Line: The March Shades Club box had another great pair of sunglasses! I absolutely love the Riviera style and the tortoiseshell pattern. They're making me anxious for summertime!

Babo Botanicals Pretty & Protective Lip Tint Trio Review

I've been a fan of Babo Botanicals for a while; they're a great skin and body care company that has products that are gentle and effective. Their Pretty & Protective Lip Tints are great for adding just a touch of color and a lot of protection to your routine!

*Disclaimer: These products were sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review. Post contains affiliate links.

Babo Botanicals was created on a certified organic farm and creates plant-based hair, skin, and mineral reef-sun care products that are gentle enough for newborns or anyone with extra sensitive skin. You can find their products at trusted partners including Whole Foods, buybuyBABY, Target.com, Ulta.com, Amazon, The Detox Market, Goop, Anthropologie, and more.

There are two Pretty & Protective Lip Tint Trios, and I received the Seka, Plum, and Wild set to try. The set includes three sheer shades that soften and condition lips while adding a touch of colo. They are made with non-nano zinc oxide and titanium dioxide to smooth, soften, and condition lips.

The three shades are Seka Rose, Plum Rose, and Wild Rose. All three have SPF 15 protection and Babo's exclusive Nutri-Soothe Complex that is rich in vitamins and antioxidants. They're also reef safe, meaning they have noharmful oxybenzone or octinoxate.

Here's the complete ingredient list.

These lip tints really are smooth! They have a rounded top that makes it easy to glide them across your lips. The shades are great for most skin types, but I especially like the Plum Rose. All three have a slightly sweet, slightly floral scent.

They felt incredibly soft against my skin and provided long-lasting moisture. I only had to reapply a few times throughout the day. The color is not a stain, so if that's your main reason for using them you'll likely have to re-apply more often, but for me it was the perfect daily lip balm with an added dose of color.

The swatches above are, from top: Seka Rose, Plum Rose, and Wild Rose. Aside from how smooth and moisturizing they are, I also like that you can easily adjust how much pigmentation you want by adding more or fewer coats. These swatches are with about three swipes of the tint.
Bottom Line: The Babo Botanicals Pretty & Protective Lip Tint Trio makes a great gift for yourself or someone else! The set has three great shades that protect your lips with gentle ingredients and moisture. All of the Babo Botanicals products that I've tried have been excellent quality, and these lip tints are no exception!
