URSTASH sends healthy snacks and natural hygiene products in their boxes to meet all of your needs! They offer a variety of boxes to choose from and I'll be sharing one snack box and one hygiene box with you today.

*Disclaimer: These boxes were sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

URSTASH lets you choose your experience in several ways. Sign up for a one, three, or six month plan and pick the stash of UR (you're) choice. You can switch out your stash choice each month, too.

The Snacks Stash is packed with a variety of non-GMO, organic, and all-natural snacks and is available in these box types:
  • UR WAKE UP CALL: breakfast snacks to help you jumpstart UR day
  • UR MID DAY TREATS: sweet and savory snacks to help keep you going
  • UR FITNESS: UR pre- and post-workout needs
The Hygiene Stash has natural and organic hygiene products to meet your specific needs and is available in these box types:
  • UR BEAUTIFUL SMILE: natural dental products to help you maintain UR beautiful smile
  • UR HEALTHY SKIN: natural skincare products for UR beautiful skin
  • UR TIME OF THE MONTH: sustainable, plastic-free tampons, pads, liners, and wipes
URSTASH also discloses all of the items inside of each box so you have full transparency. You can choose to see what's inside before receiving your box by clicking on the "What's Inside" link when choosing your box type.

The Hygiene stashes are priced as follows:
  • One time purchase: $49.99 for one box does not renew
  • Monthly: $47.49 per month
  • Three Months: $46.99 per month - $140.97 charged one time
  • Six Months: $43.00 per month - $263.94 charged one time
The Snacks stashes are priced as follows:
  • One time purchase: $45.99 for one box does not renew
  • Monthly: $43.69 per month
  • Three Months: $43.99 per month - $131.97 charged one time
  • Six Months: $40.99 per month - $245.94 charged one time

I received the UR WAKE UP CALL breakfast box and it contained 11 total items. Here's what was inside:
  • Made Good Strawberry Granola and Chocolate Banana Minis: These are Non-GMO Project verfied, USDA organic, and gluten-free. I haven't tried them yet but they're a great little breakfast pack for on-the-go.
  • Oh My Goodness Oat Bar in Merry Berry and Appletastic: I usually eat breakfast bars each morning so these are perfect for me. They're gluten-free and made with fine English oats.
  •  Stash Tea in Lemon Ginger: Stash Tea is obviously a great fit for URSTASH! I always have ginger tea on hand and will put this to good use. It's Non-GMO Project Verified, too.
  • Bob's Red Mill Gluten-Free Oatmeal in Blueberry and Hazelnut, Classic, and Apple Pieces and Cinnamon: I have to admit, I've tried so many times to like oatmeal but it just isn't for me. No problem, though, as I'll pass these along to someone who will use them.
  •  Super Coffee in Hazelnut, Original, and Mocha: I was most excited to try out these coffees because COVID-19 means no iced coffee runs! These have 200 mg of caffeine, the same as two cups of coffee, and 90 calories per bottle. They also contain 10 grams of protein. The flavors were a little artificial to me, but they were definitely tasty enough that I would purchase again.

The hygiene box I received was the UR HEALTHY SKIN stash. I prefer to use these types of products, so I was really excited to see what was inside this box.

  • Kirk's Gentle Castile Soap: This soap is made with 100 percent premium coconut oil and is Leaping Bunny certified cruelty-free and also Non-GMO project verified. I've used other Kirk's soaps in the past and they work really well without over drying the skin.
  • Tom's of Maine Long Lasting Unscented Deodorant: This offers 24 hour protection with natural ingredients. I haven't used Tom's of Maine before, but I'm hoping this natural deodorant works well for me.
  • One With Natural Dead Sea Mineral Soap in Lemon Verbena: Upon further inspection, I think the paper label on my soap slipped off and I accidentally recycled it with the packaging. That being said, it's plastic wrapped so it isn't damaged. It smells lovely and is made with dead sea salts to restore the skin's natural pH. It's also Leaping Bunny cruelty-free and Non-GMO Project verified.
  •  ACURE The Essentials Moroccan Argan Oil: This is pure, cold-pressed argan oil that's suitable for all skin types. I like to use this on my hair, too, to keep it soft and hydrated.
  • Everyone for Everybody Nourishing Lotion in Lavender + Aloe: This lotion is free from parabens, synthetic fragrance, and is cruelty-free. The formula is a bit thin in my opinion, but it soaked into my skin quickly and left it feeling soft and moisturized.
  •  Everyone for Everbody Nourishing Lotion in Mint + Coconut: I love the scent of this one! It's the same formula as the lavender lotion, just a different scent.
  • ACURE Brightening Cleansing Gel: This has pomegranate, berry, and acai antioxidants to support skin's appearance while removing dirt and oil. It's vegan and free from parabens, sulfates, mineral oils, petrolatum, and formaldehyde. The brand is also Leaping Bunny certified cruelty free.

Here's a look at the ACURE products out of their boxes.
Bottom Line: I wasn't quite sure what to expect from the URSTASH boxes but I think they did a great job with the UR WAKE UP CALL and UR BEAUTIFUL SKIN stashes. The box is on the more expensive side, and I didn't add up the retail value of the products, but I would guess that the food box may come in under the $49.99 price tag. That being said, you're getting a box of full-sized products that are from responsible and natural brands, so if you're looking for an easy way to find more products like these, give URSTASH a try!

March Shades Club Review and Coupon

After some shipping issues for January and February, I finally got a new pair of shades from Shades Club for March!

*Disclaimer: This box was purchased by See, Shop, Love! at a discounted rate in exchange for an honest review.

Shades Club sends stylish, high-quality shades each month in men's and women's styles. The shades are made in the same factories as much higher cost brands and are, in my experience, just as great of quality, if not better!

I previously mentioned that there was a bit of a shipping issue with my past two boxes. None of it was the fault of Shades Club; it appears that my two boxes were somehow hung up by USPS and were not delivered. Shades Club customer service was great and immediately refunded me. This is the only time I've had an issue with the boxes being delivered.

That being said, here are the pricing options:
  • Monthly: $29 per month
  • Four Months: $112 every four months/$28 per month (one month free)
  • Six Months: $162 every six months/$27 per month (1.5 months free)
  • Yearly: $288 every 12 months/$24 per month (two months free)
Shipping is free to the U.S. with all subscription options. You can also buy individual pairs and accessories in the Shop.

The March shades are the Summer Vacay design in "The Shore," which is currently sold out on their site. The lenses are rounded and the frames have a fun black and clear houndstooth pattern. The lenses have an Ice Blue tint and are polarized with 100 percent UVA/UVB protection.

As you can see in the photo above, Shades Club adds their logo on the front of the left lens, which is a nice little detail.

There's also a metallic logo treatment on the left arm of the frames.

Another detail I love about Shades Club is that their shades often have quotes on the insides of the frames. This pair says "If it feels good, do it."
Bottom Line: All of the sunglasses I've gotten from Shades Club have been excellent quality in a variety of stylish designs. I think they're a steal at $29 per month for a pair of polarized shades. The March shades are really cute and are perfect for upcoming spring weather!

Noémie Jewelry Review

Noémie was founded on the belief that the journey is as dear as the destination. Their fine jewelry is for life's every moment.

*Disclaimer: This product was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review. Post contains affiliate links.

Noémie sells their handcrafted jewelry direct-to-consumer, bypassing markups and middlemen. They use a legacy of craftsmanship and modern materials like 18K gold, conflict-free stones, and lab-grown diamonds to create beautiful pieces that last a lifetime.

Shipping for all items is free and overnight to U.S. addresses and they accept returns within 30 days on all orders. They also have a monthly payment option through Bread for qualified shoppers.

Noémie has bracelets, earrings, rings, and necklaces in a variety of designs, but all are based on simple luxury. I like that the designs are refined and simple. Everything is beautifully made.

I especially love their Elephant Collection and Zodiac Collection pieces. The Elephant is the Noémie signature motif and represents strength, happiness, luck, and honor.

Noémie kindly offered me a piece to review and I chose the Custom Personalized Necklace in rose gold. The chain is adjustable to 16" to 18" and you can customize it with up to nine letters. I chose to use just my first initial for a simple style.

I love this necklace. I think it's so beautiful and I love the rose gold color. The gold is 18 karat gold and the necklace is also available in 18K gold with white diamonds. The design is delicate and classy and can be worn to work or out at night.
Bottom Line: Noémie has a number of beautiful designs and collections that make great gifts for yourself or for a loved one. Check them out the next time you're looking to buy something special!

March 2020 Gramma in a Box Review

I always look forward to reviewing Gramma in a Box, but this subscription is especially wonderful during the COVID-19 outbreak and everyone staying inside. Keep reading to see what goodies were in the March box!

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

This month the box came with a little added protection and was shipped within a bubble mailer (past boxes were sent with just the box.

Gramma in a Box sends all the food ingredients you'll need to create three candy and cookie crafts. The only things you'll need to supply are simple items like a bowl and spoon for mixing.

Here are the pricing options:
  • Monthly: $20 per month (first box is only $10)
  • Three Months: $55 every three months (save $5)
  • Six Months: $110 every six months (save $10)
  • 12 Months: $220 every 12 months (save $20)
Shipping is free to the U.S. and taxes are included. If you want to cancel, do so by the 25th of the month. You can also try one box for $20 without a renewing subscription.

The March box was appropriately themed for St. Patrick's Day! The boxes contain enough supplies/ingredients to make 15 to 20 individual snacks. The crafts are fun and simple to do on your own or with your family.

The first craft was Shamrock Pretzel Pops. All of the crafts come with instruction cards that have ingredient and allergen information on the other side.

This project involved melting chocolate in the microwave and then using it to attach three pretzels to the pop rod, and then adding candies and sprinkles for decoration. I love how they come together to look like shamrocks!

The second craft was Marshmallow Pot O'Gold Cups and used up the remaining melting chocolate. I mixed the mini marshmallows into the chocolate then added some to each of the six foil cups. Top with the golden sprinkles, and you've got tiny pots o' gold!

The third craft is always cookies and the March batch was St. Patrick's Day Cookies. The cookies are pre-baked and sealed for freshness, but it's recommended that you complete your crafts within a week of receiving the box to maintain the best level of freshness.

The cookies are shaped like pots o' gold and different sized shamrocks with white, gold, and green sprinkles and icing. These were fun to decorate and even more fun to eat! The cookies are a delicious, buttery sugar cookie and are always a hit with my family.
Bottom Line: Gramma in a Box sends three creative candy and cookie snacks right to your door for an affordable price. The crafts are a great way to spend some time with your loved ones!

Check out this recent comment that Terry, the owner of Gramma in a Box, received, which shows how meaningful this box is:

“I want you to know how much I appreciate your Gramma in a box! Last month I was able to make the February goodies with my grandkids because I was visiting them. This month they were supposed to come visit me, but the Coronavirus made that impossible. So we did it via Skype today, and my 10 year old granddaughter completed all 3 recipes with very little help from me, but we shared lots of laughs! It was the highlight of my very secluded life (at the moment)! I don't know where you get all the tasty and pretty decorations! So thank you for supplying these kits, and giving me all the credit with the kiddos! We are all looking forward to next month!!”

March 2020 Book of the Month Review

I didn't get a Book of the Month for February because I didn't love the selections, so I was extra excited to see what was available for March.

*Disclaimer: This box was purchased by See, Shop, Love! Post contains referral links.

Book of the Month costs $14.99 per month for your choice of one of five hand-selected titles. The books are all hardcover new releases and are selected by a monthly panel of judges. You can also subscribe for a full year at $149.99 per month (~$12.50 per book).

You can skip any month if the selections aren't to your liking and your credit will roll over to the next month. You can also add on as many titles as you want to your monthly shipment for $9.99 each.

To be honest, I wasn't very excited about any of the titles for March, but since I didn't get a box in February I really wanted to get one this month. I decided on The Splendid and the Vile by Erik Larson. I am a fan of his non-fiction writing, especially The Devil in the White City, so I knew that this book would be well-written. Here's the synopsis:

In The Splendid and the Vile, Erik Larson shows, in cinematic detail, how Churchill taught the British people “the art of being fearless.” It is a story of political brinkmanship, but it’s also an intimate domestic drama, set against the backdrop of Churchill’s prime-ministerial country home, Chequers; his wartime retreat, Ditchley, where he and his entourage go when the moon is brightest and the bombing threat is highest; and of course 10 Downing Street in London. Drawing on diaries, original archival documents, and once-secret intelligence reports—some released only recently—Larson provides a new lens on London’s darkest year through the day-to-day experience of Churchill and his family: his wife, Clementine; their youngest daughter, Mary, who chafes against her parents’ wartime protectiveness; their son, Randolph, and his beautiful, unhappy wife, Pamela; Pamela’s illicit lover, a dashing American emissary; and the advisers in Churchill’s “Secret Circle,” to whom he turns in the hardest moments.

I'm not the biggest fan of Winston Churchill and I fear this book will further the narrative of him as the savior of Great Britain while ignoring his blatant racism and support of eugenics, but alas ... I chose it, so I guess I have to give it the benefit of the doubt.
Bottom Line: Hopefully the April titles will have a book that really piques my interest, but for now, Book of the Month is still an excellent value and a great way to access new titles.

drift(wood) Subscription Review and Coupon

drift sends quality air fresheners for your car each month in complex, beautiful scents. I tried out their drift(wood) subscription and was instantly hooked!

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review. Post contains affiliate links.

drift has two types of air fresheners: drift(wood) and rove. drift(wood) is made in the USA from sustainably-sourced, naturally hand-cut wood. It's soaked in essential and fragrance oils for passive scent diffusion. rove is a sleek, minimal air freshener for your dashboard. The reusable clip has universal vent compatibility and adjustable scent strength and air flow, and the scent lasts for 30 days.

drift(wood) costs $8 for your first package and for the refills thereafter. rove costs $15 for your first package and $5 for refills. Shipping is free for both options.

The drift branding and design definitely caught my eye. The drift(wood) visor clip in my first box was neatly packaged around the drift logo. The scented wood was in a plastic package below the clip.

The February scent was Iris, with notes of iris, cardamom, papyrus, violet, leather, and cedar. What I love most about the drift scents are that they're more complex than your standard air fresheners. I like to have some type of scent product in my car, but most are either too cloying or one-note. The drift scents smell amazing and are not overpowering, plus the drift(wood) design is beautiful.

The Iris scent is much warmer than I would have guessed by the name. I was expecting something very floral, but instead it's blended with rich, spicy notes of cardamom and cedar. I loved the overall scent profile.

Here's what the drift(wood) air freshener looks like in my car. I also received their "mill" scent, which has notes of balsam pine and juniper berry, two of my favorite scents. It smells just like winter to me and is so lovely.

The March scent is Irish Mint, with whiskey, mint, pear, honey, and vanilla notes. I love Irish whiskey, so I can't wait to receive this refill!
Bottom Line: drift has a beautiful, effective product at a great price. I can't recommend their drift(wood) car air freshener enough! Their scents are superbly made and give off the perfect amount of scent throw for a car.

You can also do a one-time sale of the 3-Pack for $109.99 or the 6-Pack for $159.99.

The box ships from Boca Raton, Florida and reached me in New York in about three days (shipped via USPS with tracking). The box arrived in great shape, packed inside a larger cardboard box. All of the items inside were neatly packed with plenty of recyclable paper shreddings to protect them.

What a great assortment! This box really delivers on amazing lifestyle products. The February Launch box had 17 total items inside.

  • Cacao Graham Crack and 4 Piece PAVE Chocolate Box ($6 and $12.50): These sweet treats are right up my alley! The Graham Crack is graham crackers, bean to bar chocolate, and toffee and sea salt coating that makes for an amazing salty/sweet crunch. The PAVE Chocolate Box contains four ganache chocolates in various flavors.

  • The Drop Set of 2 Wine Glasses ($24): Subscribers will receive either the Clear or White Love Duo. I received the Clear and they're so pretty! They're made of unbreakable Tritan plastic and are 100% recyclable, dishwasher safe, and BPA-free. The design is simple and chic.

  •  Kendra Scott Edie Silver Cuff Bracelet and Silver Pendant Necklace in Slate Cats Eye ($55 and $50): These pieces are absolutely beautiful! I'm familiar with Kendra Scott through other subscriptions and I love her designs. This necklace and bracelet set is perfect for me. I love the simple purple jewels and timeless designs.
  • Margot Elena TOKYOMILK Yellow Flower Hand Soap, Song In D Minor Perfume, and Rosewater Lip Balm: I love TOKYOMILK! I didn't realize the line was by Margot Elena, but I know now. Keep reading for more information on each item.

  •  TOKYOMILK Yellow Flower Hand Soap ($12): This soap is French triple-milled made from a pure vegetable base. The scent profile is "Midnight in the Garden" and smells light and floral and slightly sweet.

  •  TOKYOMILK Rosewater Lip Balm ($10): This decadent formula has sugared rose petals and fresh apple blossoms to leave lips feeling silky soft. The formula is very smooth and feels great on the lips.
  •  TOKYOMILK Song In D Minor Perfume ($36): I have another TOKYOMILK perfume so I'm familiar with their gorgeous packaging and beautiful scents. This one is a little different than what I would normally choose, as it's a floral with notes of white orchid, orange blossom, gardenia, and amber. I do love the amber base and I think this will be a great spring/summer scent.

Here are some more photos of the perfume. The design is just absolutely beautiful!

  • Springs 2 Pocket Wrist Wallet in Black Marble ($19.95): This is such a handy little item and a great idea. It has enough space to carry your valuables, including a smartphone, credit cards, keys, etc., and wraps around your wrist for when you're on the go. This will be great for when I go running outdoors.
  • TOKYOMILK Zebra Be Bold Reusable Tote ($12): This little tote is so cute and I love the colorful design. It's a smaller tote but is good for smaller shopping trips.

  •  Teami Luxe Rose Gold on-the-go Tumbler ($54.99): This tumbler is great for hot and cold beverages and is made from BPA-free plastic. It's heat resistant and keeps beverages hot for up to four hours. It has an interior strainer specifically for taking tea on-the-go.

  •  Teami Chai Tea ($29.99): This ayurvedic chai blend is richly spiced and perfect for brewing in your Teami Tumbler. Chai is one of my favorite types of tea so I will definitely put both to good use.
  • TOKYOMILK Awaken Within Hand Creme ($22): This hand creme is scented with citrus and sky, with notes of orange blossom, jasmine, and neroli.

  •  Spongelle Coconut Verbena Pedi Buffer ($16), Air Fresh Tuberose Zodiac Buffer ($20), French Lavender Boxed Flower ($16), Sugar Dahlia Boxed Flower ($16): Spongelle products are regulars in subscription boxes but I'm happy for that because I love them. They're great for travel or just pampering yourself at home. They're buffing sponges that have body wash infused inside of them, so all you have to do is add water and lather up!

The February Fabulous You Box has a total retail value of $412.43! I'm very impressed by all of the items inside. I think they did a great job of choosing different types of items that can be used for self-care.

The February box has sold out, so if you subscribe, your first box will be the May 2020 box.
Bottom Line: I think the first Fabulous You Box is excellent! This is a great launch and I'm excited to see what they do with future boxes. If you're looking for a high-end lifestyle box to spoil yourself with, this one is a great option.
