FaceTory 7 Lux September Review and Coupon

I'm Korean-American and obsessed with Korean sheet masks! I do one almost every night and I decided to subscribe to FaceTory 7 Lux to save money, since I buy tons of masks individually anyway.

*Disclaimer: This box was purchased by See, Shop, Love! Post contains affiliate links.

Facetory has two subscription options, both of which send Korean sheet masks each month. I'm obsessed with skincare and I purchase sheet masks regularly, so this subscription appealed to me because it was easier to get Korean masks all from one place instead of having to shop around at various websites for them.

This is a review for the 7 Lux subscription, which costs $19.90 per month for seven masks and 1-2 bonus items. The other option is the Lux Plus, which is $49.95 per season for 5-6 skincare products and 5-6 masks. Both options have free shipping to U.S. addresses.

Facetory sends a good assortment of masks for all skincare types. At $19.95 per month, that's about $2.85 per mask, which is an excellent deal. Most sheet masks will cost at least $3-$5 individually, some even upwards of $10.

The masks ship in a padded mailer and come with an insert explaining all of the masks.

I love being able to try masks from Korean brands I've never tried before! I live in a smaller city, and while I can get masks from some of the more popular brands, it's harder to find other ones from Korea unless I order them online. Getting them all in this package is exciting!

The JM Solution Active Bird's Nest Moisture Mask Prime is a hydrating mask with bird's nest extract. This ingredient is prized in traditional medicine and helps improve skin clarity by boosting moisture retention.

The Meditime Jeju Deumppook Turmeric Mask is great for healing breakouts. It's vegan and eco-friendly due to eucalyptus mask fibers. Turmeric is great for the skin, as it has antioxidants and anti-inflammatory components. I used this one the other day and it felt so refreshing, but there was a ton of serum in it so it dripped a little.

The MedB 1 Day Honey Mask Pack is a moisturizing mask with honey extract, which has anti-inflammatory properties to keep skin nourished and glowing. It can help soothe acne and brighten skin.

The extra item for this month was the FaceTory Spot Fighter AM Patch. I love patches like these for when I break out and other ones I've tried have worked pretty well. They have tea tree oil, tea tree extract, and centella asiatica to fight acne and prevent further scarring and irritation.

The Glowiest Youthful Glow Mangosteen and Peachy Glow Hydrating Masks are a duo with brightening and nourishing properties. The Mangosteen mask has antibacterial properties and soothes inflammation. The Peachy Glow mask has antioxidants and provides the "glassy skin" look so popular in Korea right now.

The Petitfee Agave Cooling Hydrogel Face Mask is a cooling hydrogel infused with agave and blueberry to nourish and calm skin. It comes in two pieces (one that goes on your forehead/nose and one on the chin) like most hydrogel masks and is great for hydration.

I was most excited to receive the Dr. Jart Dermask Ultra Jet Porecting Solution Mask! Dr. Jart masks are great quality and retail for $9-$12 individually. This one is a bubble mask with activated charcoal to deep clean and purify pores. They're really fun to use, too, since the bubbles come up after you apply the mask and the serum oxygenates.

  • Visit FaceTory to shop their store and subscribe

Bottom Line: I'm so happy with my first FaceTory 7 Lux pack! I love sheet masks and this subscription really delivers. If you're a fan of skincare and Korean sheet masks, it's a great deal.

EVXO Cosmetics Review - Organic, Vegan, Gluten-Free Makeup

You can freshen up your beauty routine with EVXO Cosmetics! The line is made up of botanical, cruelty-free and vegan cosmetics made with all-natural, gluten-free, and certified organic ingredients and oils.

*Disclaimer: These products were sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

EVXO Cosmetics was created by ethical vegan founders with a pledge to always remain completely cruelty-free. They are partnered with Leaping Bunny with a certified cruelty-free status.

Their products are made with sustainable, natural ingredients that are good for your skin and are packaged in recyclable packaging.

I love handmade soaps, and the Succulent Shea Butter Soap is lovely! It has a beautiful floral scent and succulent design on the top. They're a lovely decorative soap, but even better with use, as they're made with a Shea butter base with nourishing Vitamin E. It's great for dry, cracked skin and is packed with antioxidants and hydrating properties.

The soap also contains French pink clay that cleanses and detoxifies skin while removing dead skin cells to create a refreshed appearance. It can help with acne and other issues, such as sun damage and cracked skin. Vitamin E also has anti-inflammatory properties that can help skin look younger.

The Peek-A-Boo Organic Liquid Mineral Foundation is one of EVXO's best selling products, and I can see why. I received the shade "Sedona" to try and it perfectly matched my medium skin with yellow undertones.

The foundation is certified organic, gluten-free, vegan, and cruelty-free with natural ingredients that are non-comedogenic (won't clog pores). What I like best is how smoothly the foundation applies. I used a makeup sponge for application and one layer was enough for medium coverage, but it's easily buildable if you need more coverage. It felt weightless on my skin and lasted all day with primer.

The foundation is made with gluten-free Vitamin E to keep skin glowing, along with thyme and chamomile to help soothe skin. Chamomile is a strong anti-inflammatory and thyme has been shown in recent studies to help treat blemishes.

I also enjoyed the Organic Eyebrow Powder. It contains jojoba oil, oregano, thyme, cinnamon, rosemary, lavender, and more! The powder is made to help fill in brows while also being great for skin.

I applied the powder with an eyebrow brush and I found it was easy to build coverage. You can easily shade with this, adding more if necessary. The pigmentation is great and it helped my brows look full and even.

Bottom Line: I'm very impressed with the products I tried from EVXO Cosmetics! All three were high quality and available at affordable prices. I love their commitment to being cruelty-free certified, vegan, and gluten-free, too!

Desert Harvest Aloe Vera Shampoo and Conditioner Review

The shampoo and conditioner from Desert Harvest is made with non-GMO aloe vera, a rich source of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, natural antibacterials, antivirals, antifungals, and inflammation-fighting properties.

*Disclaimer: These products were sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Desert Harvest has plenty of aloe vera products, including supplements and skincare. Their Aloe Herbal Shampoo and Shower Gel and Aloe Herbal Conditioner were interesting to me because they're a natural way to fight dandruff.

The Shampoo and Shower Gel is made with aloe vera, herbs, and essential fatty acids that help remove dulling residue from hair to reveal natural shine. It can also be used as a shower gel to gently cleanse skin and is great for all types of dandruff on the scalp. It's safe for sensitive skin and color treated hair.

The Conditioner is made with organic aloe vera, vitamins, herbs, and essential oils to transform dry, damaged, and over-treated hair in minutes. It's chemical free and can be used daily to moisturize and nourish hair.

Both the Shampoo and Conditioner have no artificial ingredients and have 100 percent organic aloe vera as the number one ingredient (as you can see in the ingredient list above). They're also cruelty-free and have no parabens or synthetic preservatives.

I have oily scalp and pretty bad dandruff so I need to wash my hair every day, but that can get pretty drying. I used the Desert Harvest Shampoo and Conditioner and they left my hair feeling soft and nourished and my scalp was calmed without feeling overly-dry. I like using these in addition to my other dandruff shampoos to balance out my scalp.

Bottom Line: The Desert Harvest line of products is an affordable way to treat your body to natural and potent aloe vera. I've had great results with their Shampoo and Conditioner and highly recommend both!

ButcherBox Review and Coupon

Summer barbecues might be coming to a close, but that doesn't mean you have to give up on delicious meats! ButcherBox send high quality meats right to you.

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review. Post contains affiliate links.

ButcherBox holds itself to high standards for sourcing, sustainability, and taste of their products. Their meats take meals to the next level and is my go-to source for excellent quality meats!

The meats are also great for keto, paleo, and Whole30 meals. Whether you just like eating quality meats or need to meet certain protein goals, ButcherBox is great for your dietary needs.

All meats have naturally-occurring hormones, but ButcherBox doesn't add any extra hormones to their products (federal regulations prohibit the use of hormones or steroids in poultry). I can eat ButcherBox knowing that there are no added hormones.

All ButcherBox animals are humanely-raised (with the exception of salmon and scallops, which are wild caught) and their facilities are regularly inspected by the USDA or comparable agency. They are also one of 3,700 companies that have become a Certified B Corp, meaning they are certified for raising their standards when it comes to social and environmental practices.

The ButcherBox is itself is large and packed with frozen meats. Even the packaging is fully recyclable!

ButcherBox has a few different box types to choose from:

  • Custom Box: select from up to 21 different cuts of beef, pork, and chicken
  • Mixed Box: 2 lbs of ground beef, 2 NY Strip Steaks, 4 Top Sirloin Steaks, 1 lb of Whole Pork Tenderloin, 3lbs of Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
  • Beef & Pork Box: 2 lbs of ground beef, 2 NY Strip Steaks, 4 Top Sirloin Steaks, 4 Boneless Pork Chops, and 2 lbs of Whole Pork Tenderloin
  • Beef & Chicken Box: 2 lbs of ground beef, 2 NY Strip Steaks, 4 Top Sirloin Steaks, 3 lbs of Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast, 3 lbs of Chicken Drumsticks
  • All Beef Box: 2 lbs of ground beef, 2 NY Strip Steaks, 1 lb Premium Steak Tips, 2+ lbs of Chuck Roast, and 4 Top Sirloin Steaks

Some cuts may vary by region and availability.

I received a box with Beef and Chicken to try, plus two lobster tails that were included as a promotion for the month. The box included three packages each of Chicken Tenderloins (6-10 per pack) and Chicken Thighs (2-5 per pack), enough to last me quite some time since I live alone. The ButcherBox chicken is free range and USDA-certified organic with no antibiotics or added hormones.

I cook chicken often as my main source of protein since I weightlift and I just like the taste of chicken. I grilled the tenderloins and used some in chicken fried rice as well. The chicken was juicy and tasted great.

I also received two packages of ground beef (2 lbs), two ribeye steaks, two strip loin steaks, and a bottom round roast. I'm going to use the ribeye for bulgogi and the round roast for galbijjim, two Korean beef dishes.

I used the ground beef in a cheesy taco pasta dish and it was so good. The quality is so evident here: the beef was easy to chop up evenly and cooked up with plenty of flavor.

ButcherBox beef is 100 percent grass-fed and grass-finished from pasture-raised cows. It's a great source of Omega-3s, vitamins, and minerals.

The only product I didn't try was the lobster tails, as I don't eat seafood, but I passed them on to my parents and they loved them. My mom raved that it was delicous!

  • Visit ButcherBox to subscribe
    • Get free ground beef for life when you subscribe (2 lbs per box)!

Bottom Line: ButcherBox is an easy way to get high quality meats delivered right to your door. This box set me up with enough meat to last at least two months, maybe more. I like the variety, especially if you choose the custom box, and the quality is top-notch!

BeauTeas Natural and Organic Beauty Tea Review

There are plenty of topical ways to treat acne, but have you considered approaching treatment from the inside as well? BeauTeas are organic beauty teas that can help clear your skin in a holistic way.

*Disclaimer: This product was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

BeauTeas are made with natural and organic herbal treatments with antioxidants, anti-inflammatories, alpha hydroxy acids, cathechins, and other natural compounds that work to clear up skin. Ingesting the ingredients instead of applying them topically helps your body absorb the ingredients more effectively while hydrating your body.

The teas are available in Morning, Afternoon, and Evening flavors. Each box has 10 individually wrapped tea bags inside.

The Morning tea is made with calendula and has 50 milligrams of caffeine in each cup. It's a delicious Earl Grey tea with organically-sourced herbs and flowers, including spearmint, peppermint, lavender, and vanilla for smoother skin. The Calendula helps fight bacteria, minimize redness, heal skin injuries like pimples, and stimulate collagen production. pearmint helps control hormonal acne and peppermint slows oil production.

The Afternoon tea is a green tea blend with 50 milligrams of caffeine per cup. It's great hot or iced and has calendula, spearmint, and lemon verbena. As with the morning tea, calendula has many skin benefits. Spearmint is an anti-inflammatory and lemon verbena fights acne-causing bacteria and helps reduce cramps.

The Evening tea has no caffeine, of course, since drinking caffeine at night wouldn't be great for your beauty sleep! This tea has chamomile flowers, which are known to have relaxing and relieving properties. It also helps relieve pain from menstrual cramps and has anti-inflammatory benefits. Calendula is in this tea, too, as well as spearmint and peppermint. Finally, Rooibos has more antioxidants than green tea and helps you relax. It also has alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) and zinc, which are great for the skin's appearance.

Since all of these teas have calendula, they shouldn't be used by pregnant women.

Bottom Line: I love relaxing with a nice cup of tea, and these BeauTeas have even more benefits for your skin. You should have at least a cup every day to help your skin stay healthy from the inside out!
