March Degustabox Review and 50% Off Coupon

If you've been around my blog for a little while then you know that I love Degustabox! They always send great full-sized foods and snacks with a ton of variety from excellent brands. This month they're offering an even better deal for new subscribers, keep reading to find out the details!

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review. Post contains affiliate links.

Degustabox sends at least 10 full-sized food and snack items each month for only $19.99. Shipping is free within the U.S. They also have a U.K. box. They also have a points program where you can earn points for reviewing the products on their site and referring friends. Once you have 100 points you can exchange them for a free box!

What I like best about Degustabox is they always send a good variety of items from brands that I know and ones that are new to me. It's a great way to discover new favorites at much cheaper prices than you would at the grocery store. Here's what was included for March:

  • Boboli Original Crust ($4.99) - I love making pizzas at home for dinner and this Boboli crust will be perfect for that. It's a 12" pre-made that I plan to smother in cheese!
  • Tolerant Foods Chickpea Pasta ($4.99) - This pasta is made with all-natural chickpeas and has between 14-20 grams of protein, high fiber, and a full service of vegetables. It's allergen-free, gluten-free, organic, kosher, vegan, and non-GMO.
  • 7 Days Soft Croissant ($1.49) - This croissant is stuffed with peanut butter creme and jelly! It sounds like a delicious little snack.
  • Paul's Quinoa Bars ($7.49) - These bars are made with 100% natural certified organic and certified gluten-free ingredients. This specific variety has a mix of Paul's Quinoa Flakes and Puffs, pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, almonds, peanuts, and honey.
  • Energems ($6.99) - I've sampled Energems from Degustabox before and I really like them. They're a great little supplement with a caffeine equivalent of one cup of coffee in one serving (three gems). These are the Mint Dark Chocolate flavor.
  • Good Thins ($3.69) - These sweet potato flavored crackers are made with real potatoes. They have a great crunch and a light dusting of extra flavor on them, too.
  • Goya Quinoa Blend ($2.99) - To be completely honest I am not the biggest fan of quinoa but this blend sounds delicious. It has brown rice, quinoa, black beans, and vegetables and is gluten-free, vegetarian, and made with 100% whole grains. I think it'll be a good side dish with some chicken,
  • Lemoncocco ($1.59) - This is a new premium non-carbonated drink made with lemon and coconut milk. At first I thought it was a lemon soda because of the can shape and was confused by the "shake well" instructions! I'm not a huge fan of coconut so I didn't love this, but I could see how it would be really refreshing for someone who does.
  • Mrs. Thinster's Chocolate Chip Cookie Thins ($2.99) - I love these cookies! They're nice and thin so they have a really good crunch. This is their best-selling flavor. I like to crumble them up and add them to ice cream.
  • Loacker Tortina Dark-Noir ($3.99) - These were such a yummy little treat! They're crispy wafers coated in dark chocolate with hazelnut cream inside.
Degustabox is running a special through March 31st for new subscribers: Get 50% off your first box (only $9.99!) and a free gift from Green & Blacks! The brand has just unveiled their newest creation, the Pure Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt Bar and you can get one in your first box! Just use this link and coupon code CJMAR2017.

February Chroma Club Review and Coupon

I love getting my Chroma.Club books each month; they've become such a nice little surprise. Well maybe a monthly subscription isn't a surprise since you know it's coming, but it's exciting to see what designs are inside each month!

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Chroma.Club is an indie adult coloring subscription. Each month you'll get 11+ illustrations from a bunch of different artists in a nice big book. Here are their pricing options:
  • Monthly: $8 per month
  • Three Month Prepay: $21 every three months (save $3)
  • Six Month Prepay: $39 every six months (save $9)

The designs are printed in a one-sided layout so you can color them and then tear them out for display if you want. All of the illustrations are pretty random, and by that I mean there are a good variety of pictures to choose from. I really liked this symmetrical one!

You can find information about each of the artists on the back side of each illustration which is something that I really like. It's a great way to learn more about these independent artists and where to find more of their work.
Bottom Line: Chroma.Club is a nice affordable treat each month. I love coloring books and I'm so glad that adult coloring has become so widespread. Chroma.Club makes it easy to get new designs each month to de-stress with!

Taste and Curiosity Germany Box Review and 15% Off Coupon

I've reviewed Taste and Curiosity's Asia boxes (read those reviews here), and now they've launched their Europe boxes. All of their boxes have been packed with wonderful snacks, and the Germany box is no exception!

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Taste and Curiosity has launched their monthly subscription option, too! Previously boxes were only available as one-time purchases. You can still purchase just one box, or you can sign up for a monthly package. Here are the pricing options:
  • Monthly: $18 per month
  • Three Months: $51 every three months ($17 per box)
  • Six Months: $96 every six months ($16 per box)
Shipping is free but they currently only ship within the U.S., including Alaska and Hawaii.

I loved opening up the Asia boxes, especially the Korean box, because I'm Korean. But I was just as excited to try the Germany box because my family has German roots, too! There were six brands represented in this box and 10 individual items. This is a great box for anyone with a sweet tooth because all of the snacks were chocolate-y. I also noticed that hazelnut and wafers tend to be a popular combo in German snacks.

  • Manner Hazelnut Wafers - These are premium hazelnut wafers from Vienna and are evidently one of Arnold Schwarzenegger's favorite snacks! I love these kinds of cookies; the cream is a good contrast to the crispy wafer.
  • Chocolate Ladybugs - I let out an emphatic "awww!" when I opened these up because they're so cute! They're from a brand named Storz who made these high-quality ladybug chocolates as their very first treat,
  • Niederegger Marzipan - This is a high-quality marzipan paste made using the finest almonds in Europe. To be honest, I didn't really know what marzipan was before I got this, but it's made with 70% almonds and 30% sugar.
  • Magnet - Each Taste and Curiosity box also comes with a magnet with an inspirational quotation on it. This month's is from Herman Hesse and says "The true profession of a man is to find his way to himself."
  • Kinder Bueno - I love, love, love Kinder Bueno! The package had two milk chocolate-covered wafer bars with creamy hazelnut filling. They taste so amazing!
  • Hanuta - This is a famous German snack made up of creamy hazelnut filling between two crispy wafers. I haven't tried this yet but it's a nice big bar and it sounds delicious.
  • Ritter Sport Minis - I've heard of Ritter Sport chocolates before but hadn't tried them prior to receiving these minis. The flavors were milk chocolate with praline, chopped hazelnuts, and regular milk chocolate and all tasted smooth and were really yummy!
Bottom Line: The Taste and Curiosity Germany box was full of unique sweet treats! If you like hazelnut and chocolate then you'll be in heaven with this box.
