Skinue Acne Skincare Review

When I was a teenager I didn't have too many issues with acne, but more recently in my adulthood I've been breaking out like crazy! I have been working out more than I ever did and have been under some other random life stressors, so I figured that was the main contributor to my constant breakouts. Then I discovered Skinue, a wonderful skincare brand that has worked miracles on my skin!

Skinue's acne line is made up of four products: the Facial Wash, Gel, Serum, and Lotion. I tried the Facial Wash, Gel, and Serum, but unfortunately I misplaced the Serum when I moved out of my apartment so that's why it's not pictured above.

The Facial Wash is seriously magical! I have been using it for about a month and a half and I have had zero breakouts. I mean, I've had a pimple here and there, but that's to be expected with any skincare line I think. I can't rave enough about how much this has transformed my skin! I use it once in the morning and once at night. It has a silky texture and a slight lather, and it also has a nice, light scent.

I used the Serum all over my face after cleansing with the face wash. It can also be used as a spot treatment on blemishes at any time. It's a little more viscous than other serums I've tried but it absorbed pretty quickly into my skin.

The final step in the system was the Gel. It's a great moisturizer for oily skin and can be used instead of their Lotion. I don't normally use gel moisturizers, so the consistency was a little weird to me, but a little goes a long way and it felt great on my skin. My skin is super oily and blotting papers are my best friend, but this did a decent job of controlling sebum production.

Bottom Line: I'm in love with Skinue's acne line and I highly recommend it to anyone who is battling blemishes and breakouts! I haven't had a major breakout since I started using these products and my skin is smooth and beautiful!
