October Degusta Box Review and 35% Off

Degsuta Box has rebranded, but only slightly. They're still sending a box packed with full-sized snacks, but now they're going by Degusta Box instead of the old Degustabox.

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review. Post contains affiliate links.

Degusta Box sends nine to 14 full-sized snacks and foods for only $19.99 per month. Shipping is free to the U.S. They also have a U.K. box for those of you on the other side of the pond!

The October box featured 10 brands with 14 total items. My favorite thing about this box is that they send a great variety of foods, sauces, soups, and more for much cheaper than if you bought everything individually at the grocery store. It's always fun to open up and see what's inside!

  • Pirate's Booty ($5.46 for a 12 pack, ~$1.82 for four): I love these snacks; they're made of rice puffs with real aged white cheddar that's baked and not fried. They're light and fluffy and full of flavor.
  • Idahoan Foods Creamy Potato Soup ($2.99) - I love a hearty soup, especially now that it's getting colder out. This one makes restaurant-quality soup and all you have to do is add water.
  •  Tastykate ($1.79 each) - Tastykakes are a regional brand and I know they're popular down in Pennslyvania, but they're sometimes available in stores here in New York and I absolutely love them. The Chocolate Juniors are baked fresh and finished with chocolate icing and the Peanut Butter Kandy Kakes combine a snack-sized vanilla sponge cake with a thick stripe of peanut butter coated in milk chocolate.
  • Garoto ($.80) - This candy bar is a combination of Garoto milk chocolate with a banana filling. Sounds like an interesting but delicious combo!
  • Sixlets ($1.00 each) - Sixlets is another brand that not everyone may know of but that I really like. There's one pack each of the Chewy Fruit Flavored candies and the Original Chocolate candies. Both are gluten- and nut-free.
  • Bahlsen Waffeletten ($3.49) - Oh my, these are so good! They're crumbly to eat so be careful, but the light wafers are dipped in milk chocolate for a perfectly delicious flavor combo.
  • Brown & Haley Sea Salt Caramel Roca ($2.99) - Another great candy featured this month is this pack of buttercrunch coated in California almonds and sea salt. I love salty/sweet candies and these sound wonderful.
  • Bush's Best Sriracha Lime Crisp-Roasted Chickpeas ($3.99) - These high-fiber beans are crisp-roasted and coated in a variety of flavors. I'm going to pack these in my carry-on for my upcoming trip to London.
  •  Welch's Fruit Snacks Superfruit Mix ($2.99) - Who doesn't love fruit snacks? These have pomegranate-passionfruit, starfruit-kiwi, dragonfruit-blackberry, acai-blueberry, and goji-apricot flavors made with real fruit. They're also gluten-free and have no artificial preservatives or colors.
  • SunSpire Peanut Butter Chips ($7.99) - These chips are made with real peanut butter that are perfect for baking or eating straight out of the bag. I'm going to use these in cookies.
The total approximate retail value for the October Degusta Box is $32.64, well over the $19.99 price tag of the box. I was pleased with all of the snacks this month, especially the Sixlets and Pirate's Booty!
Bottom Line: The October Degusta Box had lots of fun treats, with old favorites and new brands for me to try. I love this box and always enjoy the surprises each month!
