November Kawaii Box Review

I hvae a weakness for anything adorable, so Kawaii Box is a perfect fit. If you're not familiar, "kawaii" is the Japanese word for "cute" and each month you'll get a box of kawaii goodies straight from Japan!

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review. Post contains affiliate links.

Kawaii Box costs $19.90 per month for 8 to 10 thoughtfully curated kawaii items. Shipping is free to the U.S. They also have discounts with multi-month subscriptions:
  • Six Months: $113.40 every six months ($18.90 per box, $6 savings)
  • 12 Months: $214.80 every 12 months ($17.90 per box, $24 savings)

November's box is aptly themed "Thanksgiving Parade." It has 10 items and an informational insert with pictures and descriptions of all of the items.

There's always a good mix of items in Kawaii Box, everything from stationery and stickers to toys and snacks. Here's what was inside this month's box:
  • Sakura 2019 Desk Calendar: I mostly work from home now, but this little desk calendar is perfect for my home office! I love cats so the cute illustrations are perfect. The Sakura is also known as the Japanese cherry blossom, which you can see in the illustration on the cover.
  • San-X Corocoro Coronya Stickers: This character is new to me, but it's a sheet of cat stickers, so of course I love them! The info sheet says Corocoro Coronya is "a small lazy cat who lives on a street corner and likes to hide inside a coronet bread."
  • Pastel Animals Coin Purse: This is a Harajuku-style accessory that was sent with different designs (I think, based on the illustration in the info sheet). Mine is blue with dancing cats.

Here are close-ups of some of the stickers and the calendar.

  •  Sanio Characters Sakura Plushie: How cute is this chubby little guy! I love the Sakura designs on the top of the head and body.
  • Molang Eraser: Molang is a popular "pig rabbit" from South Korea and her yellow chick friend is named "PuiPui" and is her best friend. I love cute erasers, but I never end up using them because I don't want to destroy the design!
  • Gudetama Chocolate Bar: This is the snack for the month and it's a crunchy white chocolate bar with lazy egg Gudetama on the packaging.
  • Thankful Memo-It Notes: I think this had different designs sent as well, and mine is a polar bear wearing a hat.
  • Sushi Ink Pen: Why not start a tradition of having sushi on Thanksgiving? Either way, this pen is a great decoration of the yummy food.

A closer look at the Sanrio Characters Sakura Plushie.

  • Kawaii Neko Letter Set: I'm always scribbling little notes and reminders, so this pad will come in handy. I'll keep it in my desk.
  • Sanrio Marumofubiyori Plush Pouch: This is another new character for me, and he's a white bear cub. The pouch is super soft and big enough to hold a cell phone or your loose change.
I really enjoyed this Kawaii Box! I love all of the items and they brought a huge smile to my face. It's fun to get something like this as an adult, because everyone can enjoy fun items once in a while. The only thing I want to note is that the box does ship from Japan, so it took about two weeks to get to me. You will receive a shipping number though and can track it through the international tracking sites provided by Kawaii Box.
Bottom Line: Kawaii Box is so fun! If you enjoy getting a package of adorable surprises, this box is a great deal.
