April 2020 Gramma in a Box Review and Coupon

The April Gramma in a Box came with three new spring-themed projects. As always, the box had everything needed to create three fun candy and cookie projects!

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Gramma in a Box was created by founder Terry after her grandchildren moved away. She wanted to send them homemade treats and decided to open it up as a subscription for everyone.

Here are the pricing options:
  • Monthly: $20 per month (first box is only $10)
  • Three Months: $55 every three months (save $5)
  • Six Months: $110 every six months (save $10)
  • 12 Months: $220 every 12 months (save $20)
Shipping is free to the U.S. and taxes are included. If you want to cancel, do so by the 25th of the month. You can also try one box for $20 without a renewing subscription.

The box has enough ingredients to complete three projects for 15 to 20 total treats. The only items you'll need to supply are basics like a bowl and spoon for mixing.

The crafts are easy to complete and come with step-by-step instruction cards, and Terry also posts instructional videos on the Gramma in a Box YouTube page (link at the end of the post). They're perfect for completing with family of all ages.

The first project was Candy Corn Flowers. To make them, I melted the chocolate and placed it inside the holes of the pretzel circles, then added the candy corn "petals." It was a little difficult for me to get the candy corn to stay in place while the chocolate hardened, so my flowers were a little crooked (but still tasted great)!

The second project was Crunchy Bird's Nests and it involved using the rest of the melting chocolate. I mixed the cereal flakes into the chocolate and shaped them into nests, then added three jelly beans to each nest.

Here's a look at the flowers and nests. Both were easy to set up and took about five minutes to dry.

The third project is always cookies. The Spring Cookies are pre-baked and packaged in airtight plastic. It's recommended that you complete the crafts within a week of receiving your box so they're at their freshest. The cookies are a delicious, buttery sugar/shortbread.

As you can see, the cookies also come with an assortment of sprinkles and icing colors to use for decoration.

The Spring Cookies had egg, bunny, and bird shapes with cute sprinkles to match! I loved the pastel colors of the frosting, too.
Bottom Line: Gramma in a Box is a fun and unique way to share your loved with your friends and family, whether they leave near or far. I know my family always enjoys these treats each month!
