September Gramma in a Box Review and Coupon

Gramma in a Box is a delightfully creative subscription that sends monthly cookie and candy crafts for families to share with one another. The September box featured crafts for back to school!

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Gramma in a Box was founded by Terry, who was inspired to create the service after her grandchildren moved away. She decided to share her love of baking with everyone with this subscription!

Each month you'll receive pretty much everything you need to decorate cookies and make two crafts. The only items you may need to supply are basics like bowls to melt chocolate in, etc. The finished crafts will create 15-20 snacks.

Here are the pricing options:
  • Monthly: $20 per month
  • Three Months: $55 every three months (save $5)
  • Six Months: $110 every six months (save $10)
  • 12 Months: $220 every 12 months (save $20)
Shipping is free to the U.S. and taxes are included. If you want to cancel, do so by the 25th of the month.

The first project this month is Wafer Pencils. I forgot to take a photo of the supplies/ingredients before completing this one, but it's made up of wafer cookies, white melting chocolate, chocolate chips, and sprinkles. All of the crafts are easy to complete, and this one consisted of melting the chocolate and dipping both ends of the wafer in before decorating with the accents. The wafer cookies are filled with strawberry creme!

The second project is Teacher's Apples. I love how creative all of the crafts are each month, down to the little details like the candy leaves to go atop the apples. For this project, there were six marshmallows that were dipped in chocolate and then coated in red sprinkles, finished off with a pretzel stick and leaf.

Another photo of my completed apples and pencils.

Each box also contains pre-baked cookies for you to decorate, along with colored icing and sprinkles. This month, fittingly, featured alphabet letters and little apples. One of my A cookies broke a little bit in transit, but nothing too serious, especially since I quickly ate them up after decorating them anyway!
Bottom Line: Gramma in a Box is always so much fun! I love doing the crafts and decorating the cookies, and I love eating all of the yummy treats after even more. I like that all of the crafts are easy and can be shared with kids of all ages.
