October Gramma in a Box Review and Coupon

The October Gramma in a Box is perfectly themed for Halloween! Inside you'll find three cookie/candy crafts that the whole family can do together.

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Gramma in a Box was created by Terry after her grandchildren moved out of state. She wanted to send them cookies and goodies they could do to keep them feeling connecting, and she created the subscription box in order for all families to join in on the fun!

Each box includes supplies for two candy crafts and cookies to frost. The cookies are pre-made and perishable, so be sure to complete your crafts within a week of receiving the box.

Here are the pricing options:
  • Monthly: $20 per month
  • Three Months: $55 every three months (save $5)
  • Six Months: $110 every six months (save $10)
  • 12 Months: $220 every 12 months (save $20)
Shipping is free to the U.S. and taxes are included. If you want to cancel, do so by the 25th of the month.

The first project was Oreo Spiders. How cute are these! The box had four cookies inside, but you had to twist them apart to insert the pretzels and I broke one of them when I did this, so I only made three spiders. All of the crafts are incredibly creative but also simple to complete, so they're great for all ages. This one included melting chocolate discs and then using them to seal the cookies back together and place the googly eyes, in addition to adding the pretzel legs.

The second project was Monster Bark and it used the leftover melting chocolate from project one. This one was super easy; just add in rice krispies to the chocolate, mix together, spread out on the wax paper (included in the box) and add in gummy worms, candy bones, and the leftover eyes from the spiders. It took about five minutes to set and is so fun and colorful!

The third project is always cookies of some sort, and the October theme was, of course, Halloween Cookies. My ghosts lost one of their arms, but the other shapes held up well. The cookies are delicious sugar cookies and the frosting is easily squeezable out of the frosting bags. There are also sets of colorful sprinkles in each box to decorate the cookies.

The opposite side of all of the instruction cards also include ingredients lists for all of the projects, as well as a list of allergens.
Bottom Line: I loved the October Gramma in a Box crafts! They were perfect fits for Halloween and I love the creativity behind all of them. It's even more fun to eat them after you create them!
