RawSpiceBar Review and Gift Ideas

If you have someone in your life who loves to cook, a subscription or gift set from RawSpiceBar is the perfect present for them!

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

RawSpiceBar is a quarterly subscription that sends three packs of spices from all over the world, with enough in each packet to cook two meals a week for three to four people. It costs $26 per quarter (every three months) or $88 for 12 months. You'll also get 25% off everything in the spice shop for the length of your subscription.

When you first sign up you'll fill out a quick questionnaire that asks what your taste preferences are, how many people you cook for, your favorite things to cook, etc. You'll then receive three spices that match your preferences, and if you don't like them you can always switch them out for others.

RawSpiceBar has 75+ spices to choose from, such as sweet ones like Pumpkin Pie Spice and eclectic ones like Bourbon Smoked Paprika.

The spices are all freshly-ground and salt-free, so you can reduce the sodium in your meals without sacrificing flavor. I've tried a few spices from RawSpiceBar and they're truly high quality.

This quarter I received Moroccan Ras El Hanout, Jamaican Jerk, and Cardamom Summer. The Ras El Hanout is great for Moroccan tagines, roasted butternut squash, or chicken. Jamaican Jerk can be used on a variety of proteins as well, and I love a good jerk chicken. Cardamom Summer has a cool and citrusy flavor from the green cardamom, along with cinnamon and a slight hint of licorice from freshly ground star anise. I'm going to use it to make a mango lassi!

RawSpiceBar also has a bunch of spice gift sets for all occasions. There's a Global Spices Starter Set, Baking Spices Set, Asian Spices Set, and more! You'll definitely find something for the cook in your life (or yourself).
Bottom Line: RawSpiceBar is an easy and affordable way to keep your pantry stocked with delicious, high-quality, global spices. I can't wait to try out new recipes with the ones I received this quarter!
