June 2020 Gramma In a Box Review and Coupon

The June Gramma in a Box featured Emoji and Minion treats! The box comes with everything you need to create fun and delicious cookie and candy crafts.

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Gramma in a Box is a great way to make delicious treats with and for your family. You can gift a box to loved ones to share your love from afar, or create the treats with them. The subscription was created by Terry, the founder, after she was inspired to share treats with her grandkids that had moved away.

Here are the pricing options:
  • Monthly: $20 per month (first box is only $10)
  • Three Months: $55 every three months (save $5)
  • Six Months: $110 every six months (save $10)
  • 12 Months: $220 every 12 months (save $20)
Shipping is free to the U.S. and taxes are included. If you want to cancel, do so by the 25th of the month. You can also try one box for $20 without a renewing subscription.

Boxes ship monthly and include three projects based on a different theme. There are enough ingredients to make 15 to 20 individual snacks, plus an info card with a list of everything inside and the few items you'll need to supply yourself (basics like a bowl, spoon, paper plate, etc).

The first project was Emoji Pops. It included melting chocolate in the microwave then dipping the sticks and marshmallows into the chocolate to bind them together. There were chocolate sprinkles and lots of fun faces to attach!

The second project was Crispy Minion Bites and included using up the rest of the melting chocolate. It was easy to assemble, with mixing in Kix cereal and then spooning it into the individual cups. I didn't portion it out well and ended up having five cups instead of six, but that's okay. The final touch was to add blue sprinkles to match the Minion colors.

The third project is always cookies, and this month's were Emoji and Minion Cookies. The cookies are pre-baked and shipped in airtight plastic to ensure freshness. You should complete the crafts within a week of getting your box to make sure they are the most fresh.

The frosting colors were blue, yellow, and white with matching sprinkles, as well as the funny face shapes and candies from the first project. As you can see from the second photo, I messed up the frosting on one of the Minion's clothes, but it still tasted great!
Bottom Line: Gramma in a Box is a great way to treat yourself and your friends and family to cute candy and cookie crafts. They're a lot of fun to put together and to share!

  1. Thank you so much for the great review. You did a great job on all the treats, and your cookies look so fun! I'm working hard on the July box and will be shipping a little earlier than usual so that it arrives in time for 4th of July. If you'd like the July box, please order before the end of the month! Thank you, Gramma Terry
