Maple Holistics Silk18 Shampoo Review and Coupon

Maple Holistics is a natural and holistic brand that provides premium skincare and beauty products to enhance daily living. I've reviewed a few of their products in the past (read those reviews here) and am excited to share their Silk18 Shampoo with you today!

*Disclaimer: This product was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

The Silk18 Shampoo is for men and women with all scalp types. It's free from parabens and sulfates and has a rejuvenating blend of 18 amino acids to help fortify hair follicles. It protects from dryness, breakage, damage, split ends, and hair fallout. The gentle formula also cleanses away dandruff, excess oil, and other impurities to leave your scalp feeling fresh but not stripped. This is especially great for those with oily scalps like me, because stripping away too many of the natural oils on the scalp can lead it to produce even more.

The Silk18 Shampoo is also enhanced with jojoba and argan oils to add supreme softness and shine to the hair. The full list of key ingredients is as follows: silk amino acids, botanical keratin, jojoba oil, argan oil, natural vanilla fragrance, and water.

Above is the full ingredients list. The shampoo is also cruelty-free and the bottle is made from recycled packaging. I appreciate that Maple Holistics not only makes excellent, high quality products, but they also are eco-conscious.

This shampoo worked great with my hair! My favorite thing about it is the scent: the natural vanilla is wonderful and it smells just like a piece of vanilla cake to me. Even though it doesn't have sulfates, it lathered up really well and was easy to work through my hair and scalp. After, my hair felt so soft and smooth!

Maple Holistics Muscle Pain Massage Oil Review

Weightlifting is my preferred workout, but the sore muscles after are not the most fun. I wanted to try the Maple Holistics Muscle Pain Massage Oil to help soothe the pain.

*Disclaimer: This product was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

The Muscle Relief Massage Oil is made with six simple ingredients: sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, lavender oil, lemon oil, basil oil, and rosemary oil.

The oil can assist in reducing wrinkles and helps with muscle and joint pain relief, tension release, and stress relief due to the aromatherapy benefits.

I used the massage oil on my legs after leg day and I love the soothing scent. This is a great oil for relaxation on its own due to the lavender oil, which is one of my favorite oils for aromatherapy. As far as relieving muscle pain and tension, the oil itself didn't have much of an effect because it doesn't contain any ingredients like menthol to provide that tingling feeling you get from other topical pain relief products, but the oil does allow you to easily glide your hands over any achy areas for a nice massage. It has a silky smooth texture that feels great on the skin.
Bottom Line: I enjoyed using this oil. The best part to me was the soothing scent. It definitely creates a smooth surface for you to massage with, but it won't provide that tingly feeling you may expect from a muscle relief product. Overall, this functions mostly as a massage oil and not a muscle pain reliever, but if you're looking for a massage oil this is a great option!

Maple Holistics Peppermint Essential Oil Review

I've always enjoyed the scent of peppermint, and of course the flavor in mints or other goodies. I never knew that peppermint oil has a lot of health benefits, though, and the Maple Holistics 100% Pure Peppermint Essential Oil delivers all of them!

*Disclaimer: This product was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Peppermint essential oil is extracted from the leaves of the peppermint bush. It's a strong antiseptic and antimicrobial agent ad can be used to treat wounds and cuts on the skin. It's also a potent pain reliever that cab treat pain superficially or internally.

One of my favorite ways to use peppermint oil is when I have a headache. I apply a drop or two onto my fingers and then massage it into my temples and it really does help soothe my headache. Peppermint oil is able to be absorbed by the skin, leaving a cooling and soothing sensation.

Peppermint oil is also great for treating skin issues like acne, rashes, and burns. The cleansing properties of the oil work to kill germs and nourish and rejuvenate skin cells. The menthol in peppermint is what creates that cooling sensation on the skin, but it also is excellent at combating acne.

You can use peppermint oil to soothe internal issues, too. Whenever I have an upset stomach or feel bloated I love a good cup of peppermint tea. Peppermint oil is safe to ingest to soothe stomach issues, or you can inhale the scent if you don't want to ingest it. It works wonders to break up my bloating and stomach aches!

The 100% Pure Peppermint Oil from Maple Holistics is made only of the essential oil, no additives or preservatives. It's steam distilled from peppermint leaves and then cold pressed into oil form. It smells just like a candy cane and is great for so many uses, as listed above! Peppermint oil is one of my favorite essential oils because it's so versatile.
Bottom Line: The Maple Holistics 100% Pure Peppermint Oil is excellent. It smells wonderful and has so many uses. I definitely recommend adding this oil to your pantry!

Maple Holistics Tea Tree Oil Shampoo Review

I have a naturally oily scalp which means I have to wash my hair every day. So many people are quick to say, no! You shouldn't wash your hair every day! But I know my hair, thanks, and I do have to! Luckily there are gentle and effective shampoos like the Maple Holistics Tea Tree Oil Shampoo to keep my hair clean and healthy!

*Disclaimer: This product was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

I've reviewed the Maple Holistics Witch Hazel Toner before (read that review here) so I was already familiar with this great brand. They craft all-natural, cruelty-free skincare and hair care that's made in the U.S.A.

I wanted to try their Tea Tree Oil Shampoo because tea tree oil is amazing for dandruff and oily scalp, of which I have both. This shampoo improves hair and scalp health while promoting hair growth and even slowing hair loss! It's suitable for men and women of all ages and is also free from GMOs, parabens, and gluten.

Here's a look at the ingredients list. Along with the tea tree oil, this also has jojoba, argan, lavender, and rosemary oils. The lavender and rosemary give the shampoo a soothing scent that I really enjoyed. I like to shower at night so a nice lavender lather to help relax me before bed is a nice little treat!

I used a dime-sized amount on my short hair and it lathered quickly against my scalp. After rinsing my hair felt clean and nourished but not overly-dry. My scalp felt clean as well. I'm definitely going to work this into my hair care routine and use it as my weekly clarifying shampoo.
Bottom Line: I love the Maple Holistics Tea Tree Oil Shampoo. It smells lovely and lathers well and left my hair and scalp feeling clean and soothed. I'm looking forward to using this more and seeing how it works to balance my oily scalp.

Maple Holistics Witch Hazel Toner Review

I started using toner in my skin care routine a few years ago. Prior to that I didn't really understand what it was or what it did, but now it's an essential step in my morning and nightly routines. The Witch Hazel Toner from Maple Holistics is my new favorite, read on to find out why!

*Disclaimer: This product was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Maple Holistics creates all-natural, cruelty-free skincare and body products that are made in the U.S.A. Their Holistic Promise ensure that you'll receive your money back 100% if you're not satisfied with your purchase.

I wanted to try their Witch Hazel Toner because it seemed great for my oily yet sensitive skin. It's made with lavender and aloe vera and is alcohol free, so it's more soothing than alcohol-based toners. I like using toners after washing my face because they help lift away any extra residue and oil from my skin.

The Maple Holistics Witch Hazel Toner is made with therapeutic-grade witch hazel to tighten and nourish skin. I add a few drops onto a cotton ball and swipe it all over my face after cleansing. Witch hazel is an astringent compound that helps to soothe inflammation and minor skin irritations. It's also great as an aftershave and for treating psoriasis and eczema. I even used this to help soothe a bug bite recently and it really helped quell the itching and redness!

What I like best about this toner is that it's effective with minimal ingredients. It's made with natural ingredients, including aloe leaf juice and lavender essential oil, and minimal surfactants and preservatives. I love the lavender scent, it's very light. The best part is that there's no alcohol in it, which is a common ingredient in most toners, so it's not going to overly dry out your skin. I think this is appropriate for all skin types but especially effective on oily skin like mine.
Bottom Line: The Maple Holistics Witch Hazel Toner is my new favorite toner and will be a staple in my skin care routine for sure! I think toner is an overlooked product but it's really great for soothing and toning your skin. This one is affordable, cruelty-free, and effective!
