Taste and Curiosity Korea Box Review, Coupon, and Giveaway!

Earlier this month I tried my first ever Taste and Curiosity box and I was super impressed by all of the great snacks inside. Today I'm excited to share the Korea box with you and offer two of them to my readers in a giveaway!

Taste and Curiosity sends themed boxes with international snacks from all over. They currently have three boxes available and plan to expand to other countries very soon. Not only do they send high quality snacks, but they also aim to inspire others to chase their dreams. Each box contains a magnet with an inspirational quotation on it to remind you to go for it!

I was extra excited to try the Korea box because I was born in Busan, a southern coastal city in South Korea. The Taste and Curiosity box is called "The Seoul Set," as Seoul is the capital of South Korea. The box is on sale right now for $17 (normally $19), and shipping on all boxes is free to the U.S. This is not a renewing subscription at the moment: each box is an individual purchase.

The Korea Box has 10 full-sized snacks and I love every single one of them! Here's what's inside:

• Ottogi Ppshu Ppshu Ramen Snack - This looks like a regular ramen packet but it's actually meant to be eaten dry, not cooked as a soup. The flavor is Spicy Rice Cake and you're supposed to smash it up (hence the illustration on the package) and then add the seasoning and eat it right out of the bag. Sounds like fun!
• Seasoned Seaweed - I love seaweed snacks. These are lightly salted and are simply dried pieces of seaweed. If you've never tried it I encourage you to give it a go, I think they're delicious and a great light snack.
• Lotte Happy Promise Creamy Custard Cake - This is a soft cake with a creamy filling and goes great with coffee, in my opinion.
• Orion Choco Pie - This is probably my favorite snack in the box. It's a classic Korean treat and tastes so great. It's also a political icon according to the info card, but I couldn't access the Taste and Curiosity blog to read more.

• Butter Waffle Crisp - These reminded me of Italian pizzelle cookies, but they're a little bit thicker. They're exactly what they sound like: buttery waffle-shaped cookies that were delicious!
• Couque D'asse in White Crem and Vienna Coffee - These are the Korean adaptation of European wafer cookies and I could eat them forever. The outer cookie shell is super light and fluffy, if that makes sense, and the cream inside is just enough to give it a pop of flavor.
• Margaret Choco Cookie - These made me smile because my mom's name is Margaret. They're a soft cookie that looks almost like a chocolate chip cookie and has a chocolate cream inside. 
• Ace Sand Yogurt Biscuit - These biscuits are made up of two buttery crackers with a thin yogurt flavored filling. If you like a salty/sweet combo you'll really like these.
• Peach Water Jelly - This kind of reminds me of a Go-Gurt, but less viscous. It's a peach flavored jelly that you slurp right out of the package.
• Maxim Mocha Gold Coffee Mix - This is an instant coffee packet from a well-known brand in Korea. I guess instant coffee is big over there, and this is great for on-the-go.

Blippo Kawaii Shop Review and Giveaway!

I am a sucker for all things kawaii and the Blippo Kawaii Shop is my favorite one-stop shop! They have a huge selection of all things cute, from plushies to stationery to purses, and more. I can always find tons of things that I want at their store.

Blippo kindly sent me a few items to review and I think they're a great representation of how adorable everything in their shop is! They have a good range of prices, too, so no matter what your budget you can definitely find some things to treat yourself with. They have brands like Hello Kitty, Pusheen, Disney Tsum Tsum, Rilakkuma, and a ton more.

Blippo's items ship from China but they have free shipping to the U.S. My package took about a week and a half to get to me, which is average for items from China. It may have been a little delayed because of the holiday, too. I still think that is a pretty fast shipment considering it's free and is coming from overseas.

My favorite item is the Kabaya Panda Chocolate Cookies (pictured top right in the photo above)! I've had them before and they're really yummy. The cookie part is a light buttery cookie and they're topped with chocolate shaped like a panda's face. They're almost too cute to eat, but they're too delicious not to eat.

I love stickers and these Puffy Animal Dessert Stickers are perfect for me! They combine two of my favorite things: food and cute animals. I especially love the little cupcake bears. When I write letters or do sample swaps I like to decorate the envelopes with stickers like these, so they'll definitely be put to good use.

I've been using the Alpaca Tin Case as a change purse, but it could fit other things like a lip balm, or it would also be a good case for earbuds. The shell is hard and durable and the zipper goes all the way around and is more soft, and there's also a little handle for easy carrying. It comes in three styles, and the one I have is style #2. I like the text on it, too; it says "The beautiful things."

This Hello Kitty Ribbon Pencil Sharpener is adorable! It's large enough to sharpen multiple pencils with, and once it's full you can just pop the top off to throw the pencil shavings away. It's so much more fun than a standard boring pencil sharpener.

December Snakku Review

Snakku always delivers delicious Japanese snacks and treats, but December's box was even better than usual for me! I love being able to try the authentic snacks in each box and learn more about the history behind them.

Snakku is different from other snack boxes because they send authentic Japanese snacks that are straight from Japan. The only downside is that when I love an item so much, sometimes it isn't even for sale in the U.S.!

The boxes cost $38.95 per month with free shipping and are packed with 20-25 expertly curated snacks totaling two pounds of food. They're also wrapped in a beautiful reusable washi furoshiki cloth, which I failed to take a photo of this time around, but you can see examples in my past reviews.

They also have a Tasting Box available for only $15.75 that comes with 5-7 seasonal snacks, but this box is only available to U.S. customers at this time.

December's box featured snacks from the Nagano and Gifu prefectures. Nagano is a snowy, landlocked prefecture in the middle of Japan and Gifu is also in the center of Japan. Gifu is home to some of the oldest villages in Japan, and the city of Takayama is considered one of Japan's best preserved old towns.

I always enjoy reading the information that Snakku includes about all of the snacks and the places they are from. It really adds to the enjoyment of the box. Each box contains featured snacks and popular snacks. The featured snacks are the special ones from the featured regions and cities, and the popular snacks are ones that are more readily available across Japan.

Here are this month's featured snacks:

• Snow Rabbit Manju - Rabbits are my favorite animal so I was so excited to receive these! They are absolutely adorable little puffs that are shaped like rabbits. They're infused with Shinshu apple juice and filled with white bean paste. Keep scrolling for a photo of what they look like outside of the package.
• White Birch ChocoCrunch - I've had these before and they are delicious! They're a crunchy cookie that's coated in chocolate and are from Nagano.
• Apple Sable Cookies - These are made with the famous Shinshu apples from Nagano and are light baked cookies.
• Miso Wheat and Miso Ginger Crackers - These crackers are made with premium Koji rice and homemade miso and are glazed with artisanal soy sauce and either a sugar or ginger topping. They've been made by a small snack maker in the rural Hida region of Gifu for almost 100 years!
• Midori Nobunaga - Oops, I accidentally included these in the photo with the popular snacks below (bottom right hand corner). They're a mini green tea castella cake made by a 60 year old snack shop. They use locally-grown Mino green tea from the rural Gifu region. The cakes were made popular by Oda Nobunaga, a famous Daimyo warlord from the 15th century who loved green tea and Portuguese castella cakes.

The box also contained five varieties of popular snacks:

• Kinako Candy - These little candies are made with roasted soybean flour and brown sugar. I haven't tried them yet, but the soybean flour definitely has me interested to see how they taste.
• Salad Hope - These are lightly-salted crispy rice crackers made with rice from the Niigata prefecture.
• Natto Soybean Okaki - These remind me of little sushi rolls, probably because they're wrapped in seaweed. The other ingredients are popped rice cracker mixed with fermented natto. They're salty, but I like a good salty snack.
• Alfort - These cookies are delicious! They're chocolate-covered Japanese-style English biscuits. The cookie is nice and buttery and of course the chocolate is fantastic.
• Shrimp Senbei - Senbei are rice crackers and these specifically are infused with dried shrimp and sea salt from the sea of Japan.

Bottom Line: I always love Snakku's boxes, but this one was especially fun for me because of the Snow Rabbit Manju! All of the other snacks were a lot of fun to try and the box had a good mix of sweet and savory treats.

December Play! by Sephora Review

This will be my last Play! by Sephora review for a while, possibly forever. I decided to unsubscribe after my December box; read on to find out why.

I was so excited when I first subscribed to Play! by Sephora, mostly because of their waiting list. It made everything seem more exclusive, and I knew they'd send good stuff because, well, it's Sephora! But I also was concerned that I'd be paying for samples I could get for free.

The first boxes I got were a lot of fun and they did have products I loved and would use. This is my seventh box, my first one was in May of this year. I decided to unsubscribe after this box because I started to feel like every box was pretty much the same. There was a skincare product I didn't need, a perfume sample I didn't like, and a lip product I didn't need more of. That's not to say that this isn't a great subscription--I think it's more that I just have way too many samples and beauty products already, so I wanted to take a break from receiving the box.

That being said, I still think Play! by Sephora is a great way for beauty enthusiasts to treat themselves and to discover new products. I think it's perfect for someone who maybe doesn't have as many products as someone like me, so you can really take the time to test them and find new things to enjoy.

Well, now that that's out of the way, here's what was inside December's box:

• Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray - This is definitely my favorite item this month. I was skeptical about setting sprays before I started using them, but they really do work. I have oily skin, so this one in particular does a great job of keeping my makeup on all day (or all night!).
• Sephora Cream Lip Stain in Always Red - This is a gorgeous bright red lip stain, which is a color I love, but I have about 500 other beautiful red lip products to use so I posted this for swap. It's a lightweight stain that moisturizes.
• Lancome Hypnose Drama Instant Full Body Volume Mascara - I've used this mascara before and I found it to be too flaky. I actually have three or so sample tubes of it from a prior Lancome order I placed. It definitely gives volume, but too much of it would smudge throughout the day so I don't recommend it.
• Elizabeth and James Nirvana Rose - This is Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen's perfume brand, and the Nirvana Rose scent has notes of Rose de Mai, geranium, and vetiver. Unfortunately rose makes me sneeze like crazy, so I don't think I will be able to use this. I might pass it off to my mom, she likes florals.
• Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo - Dry shampoos are one product I will happily accept my samples of because it's something I use quite often. I've never used Drybar's products but I know they're very popular so I hope this works well for me.
• Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Primer - Primers are another product I use often, but this sample just doesn't seem fun to me. I know Make Up For Ever is a great brand, but after a while all these little tubes start to add up and I just feel like I'll never get around to trying this. This is the smoothing version for minimizing large pores and fine lines.

Bottom Line: Overall this box just left me feeling "meh." I'll definitely use the setting spray and dry shampoo, but everything else was a version of something I already have too much of. I think it's a good idea for me to take a break from Play! by Sephora right now, but maybe in the future I'll resubscribe.

December Beauty Box 5 Review

I love getting boxes every month, but December is always extra fun for me because of Christmas and because my birthday is in December. Getting my Beauty Box 5 felt like an extra special gift this month!

Beauty Box 5 sends five deluxe samples (and oftentimes, full-sized products) to you each month for only $12! Shipping is free to the U.S. and $3 to Canada. They always have a good variety of products, including skincare, hair care, accessories, and more!

This month's box featured four full-sized items! I think everything is great for winter. Here's what was inside:

• Amlactin Cerapeutic Restoring Body Lotion ($2.99 for 2 oz, full-sized) - Amlactin is one of my favorite brands for really dry skin. This has a patented Ultraplex formula and ceramides that relieve dryness for up to 24 hours. It feels a little greasy at first, but once it absorbs into the skin it relieves the dry patches on my hands really well.
• Jelly Pong Pong Liquid Gossamer ($22.95 for .27 fl oz, full-sized) - I love Jelly Pong Pong because the name is so fun to say and their packaging is always really cute. This liquid highlighter is paraben- and cruelty-free and made with 78% natural ingredients.
• Professional Freezing Finish Spray ($3.00 for 2 oz, full-sized) - This hairspray has a strong hold and adds body and texture. It's perfectly sized for your purse or travel!
• Neutrogena Rainbath ($.85 for 1 fl oz) - This is in the Original scent and smells clean and slightly masculine. It's made with a combination of spices, herbs, and fruits to create an interesting scent that I really like.
• Hikari Cosmetics Lip Gloss ($13.00 for .16 oz, full-sized) - Assorted colors were sent and I received Castle, which is a warm tan. Unfortunately this is not going to look great on my skin since I already have tan skin with yellow undertones, but I've used Hikari's lip glosses before and they have great pigmentation and moisture.

Bottom Line: Aside from the Hikari lip gloss, I'm going to get good use out of all of these products. I actually really like Hikari Cosmetics, unfortunately the shade I received just didn't work for my skin tones. December's box had a total approximate retail value of  $42.79 with four full-sized products, which is an awesome deal for only $12!

Post Pal Club Review

As a kid I always wanted to have a penpal. There's something about writing and receiving letters just for you that's so exciting as a child. Let's be honest, it's still really exciting as an adult, too! Post Pal Club is a great subscription for the young and the young at heart that provides fun, personalized postcards to send to your loved ones!

Post Pal Club sends four personalized postcards each month that are pre-stamped (for U.S. postage) and ready to send to your friends and family. The designs are geared towards children to help encourage them to write, but I think the postcards are super cute and can be a lot of fun for adults, too!

Post Pal Club costs only $10.95 per month with free worldwide shipping. You can get bigger savings if you subscribe for the 6- or 12-month options, which are $9.95 per month ($59.70 total) for six and $8.95 per month ($107.40) for 12 months.

When I spoke with Olga, the founder of Post Pal Club, she offered me the option to submit a photo of myself for the cards. Unfortunately I don't take a lot of photos of myself, which I know is kind of abnormal in this selfie day and age, so Olga kindly offered to send me cards featuring her beautiful daughter, Eva. As you can see, the cards are highly detailed with wonderful illustrations!

I love how cute these cards are. I would have been so excited to receive a package like this when I was a kid, especially with my own face on it! I eagerly would have sent out the cards to my friends and family every month, and I'm sure my parents would have appreciated that they're pre-stamped.

The back of the cards have ample space for writing and feature your child's face and name.

My Post Pal Club packet also included a personalized bookmark and a special card about a girl named Zamora Moon. On the other side of the card is a picture of Zamora along with her story. She is diagnosed with a rare condition and Post Pal Club offers the option to send one of your cards to her. You can see from the photo above that they've included some tips about writing to Zamora, as well as the address to send the card to. In order to protect Zamora's family's privacy they don't provide her direct address, but they will forward on all of the cards they receive to her. I think this is such a wonderful addition to an already great subscription!

Bottom Line: I think Post Pal Club is a really fun and unique subscription! I've never come across anything like it when it comes to customization. I think kids would love to get cards with exciting illustrations featuring their face every month, I know I would have when I was younger. It's also very affordable and encourages kids to write, so I think this subscription is all-around great!

Stay Beautiful with INVO Coconut Water!

You could say that I'm slightly obsessed with hydration. I know how strange that sounds, but I've always found it easy to drink a lot of water throughout the day. Staying hydrated really does affect my mood, energy, and appearance, and now I have INVO Coconut Water to help keep me feeling my best!

I know coconut water has become really popular but I had never tried it prior to sampling INVO. I've used coconut oil to moisturize my hair and skin, so I already knew about the benefits of coconuts in general, but INVO takes it to the next level.

Coconut water contains five essential electrolytes to keep you hydrated and as much potassium as one banana. I know a lot of people prefer it as a post-workout drink for these reasons. The INVO coconut water is low in sugar and 99% fat free, too. They use high pressure processing (HPP) to create their waters, which is a cold pasteurization technique that inactivates naturally-occurring bacteria, yeast, and molds from foods, ensuring you get a truly fresh-cracked coconut product!

Another thing to love about INVO is that they use sustainable farming principles. The coconuts they use have been sustainably farmed in Thailand and throughout Southeast Asia for centuries, and are wholly utilized. Not only do they extract the water for their juices, but they also process the meat into oil, cream, and various other foods. Their Young Coconut Nursery Program has provided 60,000 nursery trees to local growers as of May of this year in Thailand, and each year they plan to distribute 120,000 trees and plant 1,200 acres!

So clearly INVO is a conscious company that promotes sustainability and giving back to the communities in which they harvest their coconuts, but what about the actual products?

I received the Pure and Tropical waters to try. I've been using water and juice interchangeably because they're both. I guess the coconut water is actually a juice. Anyway, as you can see from the ingredients list above both are made only with coconut water and fruit juices. One bottle is one serving, so 100 calories for the Tropical and 80 for the Pure bottle is not too bad in my opinion, especially if you're drinking these post-workout.

I tried the Tropical water first and I loved it. It has pineapple, mango, and passion fruit juices as well as the coconut water and it's absolutely delicious. Mango is my favorite flavor of anything and I could taste it the most out of the other three juices. It didn't take me long to finish the bottle.

Like I said in the beginning of the post, I had never tried coconut water prior to now, so I wasn't sure what to expect with the Pure water. The one I received was crystal clear like regular water, but over time it can take on a pink hue, which is perfectly normal. This didn't taste like what I was expecting, which is to say a sweet coconut flavor like I've had in candy bars or cookies. It's much more subdued and a bit hard for me to describe. It has a flavor for sure, so it's not like drinking water water, but it's unlike anything I had tasted before. I have to admit, it caught me off guard at first. The best way I can describe it is slightly sweet and a little tangy. But if you've had coconut water before I'm sure this will come as no surprise!

Bottom Line: I thoroughly enjoyed both the Tropical and Pure INVO Coconut Waters and I definitely recommended them. They're great at hydrating your body inside and out and are an excellent post-workout drink. I also love that INVO does so much to promote sustainable farming, too!

The Strange Worlds case is also a favorite of mine. The books are always, well, strange in a good way. If you're a fan of science fiction I recommend choosing this box. The books aren't all scifi every month, but I think fans of that genre would really enjoy the stories featured. Here's what was in this month's case:

Clash of Eagles by Alan Smale:

Perfect for fans of action-adventure and historical fiction—including novels by such authors as Bernard Cornwell, Steve Berry, Naomi Novik, and Harry Turtledove—this stunning work of alternate history imagines a world in which the Roman Empire has not fallen and the North American continent has just been discovered. Cusanus Game by Wolfgang Jeschke:

It becomes increasingly apparent that the key to future salvation lies in the past. In 2052 a secret research facility in the Vatican is recruiting scientists for a mission to restore the flora of the irradiated territories. The institute claims to have time travel. When Domenica's sometime-lover tells her that he knows her future but that she must decide her own fate, she enlists despite his ambiguous warning.

Clash of Eagles is book one of a trilogy and Cusanus Game is translated from German. I think both sound fascinating!

I really loved the colors in this month's selection. The blue is perfect for December. All of the items are from the Harrison Blake Apparel store, so the retail value for each item is their own listed price (basically, you won't find these exact items for sale elsewhere). Here's what was included this month:

• Harrison Blake Blue & Tan Stripe Socks ($8) - Even though this is supposed to be a men's box, I always steal the stocks for myself! And honestly, a woman could rock these accessories too if she wanted. The socks are nice soft cotton.
• Cotton Pocket Square ($17) - I love the blue and white floral pattern on this. The pocket squares are great quality and always have fashionable designs.
• Copper Dot Necktie ($25) - This tie has good weight to it and is made from what feels like a silk blend.
• Multi Color Lapel Pin ($15) - This pin immediately reminded me of the pins the barricade boys wear in Les Miserables (click here for those who aren't theater nerds like me). I think this is a pretty unique accessory and not something I see in a lot of other men's fashion boxes.
• Harrison Blake Asian Wood Bracelet ($14) - Based on the name, I assume that the design for this bracelet is based off of Chinese wooden bead bracelets. I really like the design and will definitely wear this myself.

Z Skin Cosmetics Review

If you're looking for an effective skincare line that's also affordable, you need to check out Z Skin Cosmetics! The line was created by Ryan Zamo, who you may know from Project Runway: Fashion Startup. I've been using the face wash and lotion for about a month now and they're wonderful!

Z Skin Cosmetics imports herbs and oils from countries including Japan, Australia, Hungary, and Africa to create a gentle yet effective line of products. Ryan created the skincare line after not being able to find products that worked for his skin. Their skincare lines are Acne, Age-Defying, and Simply Aging Organic.

Z Skin Cosmetics also has a mineral makeup line that includes powder and liquid foundations, toners, setting sprays, blushes, and more!

I sampled the Day Lotion and Facewash from the Simply Aging Organic line. Even though I'm still in my 20s, I think that it's never too early to start using anti-aging products. I want to keep my skin as healthy and youthful-looking for as long as I can, and a little preventive care can't hurt!

Pictured above is the ingredients list for the Face Wash. As you can see, the ingredients are minimal and made up of nothing but natural goodness (they're also 100% organic)! I love that there are no unnecessary chemicals or additives.

The first thing I noticed about the Face Wash was that it's bright yellow! It has little exfoliating beads, too, but they're very gentle so this could be used every day. It doesn't lather much, but it was still quite effective at cleaning my skin and removing makeup. My skin felt soft and refreshed after using it.

The Day Lotion has SPF 8 and is also made with a minimal list of 100% organic ingredients. It's lightweight and absorbed into my skin quickly without feeling greasy or with any residue. I would prefer something more around SPF 15, but 8 is still a decent option for my skin. If you're more fair-skinned you may want to use a stronger sunscreen along with this lotion.

I have oily skin that's also sensitive, so it can be difficult for me to find skincare that takes care of the oil without being too harsh. Z Skin Cosmetics worked great with my skin, which I think is because of the organic ingredients. The best way I can described the results is that my skin feels soothed. I still get oil throughout the day, which I know is just going to happen no matter what I do, but I don't have any uneven dry patches or as much redness as I used to. I have really enjoyed using Z Skin Cosmetics and I will definitely continue using it!

Stickers have always been popular, at least I think so, but it seems like they've definitely experienced a resurgence in the subscription world. Sticker Swaps caught my eye because they send stickers that are unique and different from what you normally see in a sticker sub!

As you can see, Sticker Swaps sends nice big stickers! They feature vinyl and hand-drawn stickers featuring all different artists and designs. I really like the variety and I want to look into the different brands some more to see what they're about.

This shipment had a total of 10 stickers, not including the Sticker Swaps logo one. My favorites are the cute hamster and the old school Game Boy. Back in high school I would have plastered these all over my binders, but now I'll have to find something more creative to do with them. Or maybe I'll look up some sticker swap sites and see if anyone wants to trade.

December's Degustabox is perfect for "Season's Eatings!" They packed a lot of great items into this box, per usual, and many of them are great for holiday entertaining.

Degustabox is my favorite food box. They send at least 10 full-sized items every month for way less than what you would pay at the store. They always have a good variety of brands and a lot of the things they send are new to me, so it's great for discovering new favorite products.

Boxes costs $19.99 per month with free shipping to U.S. addresses. You can earn points by reviewing each item in your box and/or referring friends, and once you have 100 points you can use them to get a free box.

I was excited to dig in to December's box because I hoped it would contain some sweet treats, and Degustabox didn't disappoint. The box had 10 items with a great mix of sweet and salty.

• Wise Popcorn in White Cheddar - I have always been a fan of this popcorn and used to buy it out of the vending machine at work all the time. The White Cheddar flavor is so rich and delicious! The popcorn is gluten-free and whole grain and is also available in Butter, Reduced Fat Sea Salt, and Cinnabon Cinnamon Roll flavors.
• Good Thins Sweet Oat and Flax - Oops, I just realized that I took a photo of the backside of this box, but you still get the idea. These are yummy little crackers made with real oats with no artificial flavors or colors, cholesterol, partially hydrogenated oils, or high fructose corn syrup.
• Urbane Grain Ancient Grain 3 Minute Meal - I got the Beef Barley flavor and it'll be perfect as a lunch at work. These meals are made with ancient grains amaranth, sorghum, and barley and have up to nine grams of protein and five grams of fiber.

• Chips Ahoy! Thins in Cinnamon Sugar - Cookies! I love crispy cookies and these are perfect. They're new from Chips Ahoy! and are also available in Original. I really liked the cinnamon sugar flavor, and even though they're thin they still had lots of white chocolate chips in them.
• Ricola Herbal Immunity Lozenges - These are great for preventing winter colds because they help support your immune system and fight fatigue. They're made with ginseng and Vitamins C, B6, and B12.
• Kala Beans in Simply Peppered - These are made with fava beans and they taste great! They're a crunchy salty snack that I've been using as an alternative to chips.

• Pillsbury Purely Simple Cake and Frosting Mix - This line of mixes contains no coloring, preservatives, or artificial flavors. I received the Vanilla cake and frosting mix and I can't wait to bake with them!
• Honey Acres Honey Straws - I've seen these straws before but have never used them. They're a great idea--each individually wrapped plastic straw is filled with raw honey and is perfect for on-the-go with hot beverages.

• Loacker Gran Patisserie in Noir Orange and Coconut - These little cookies are the perfect thing to put out during a holiday party. They're chocolate covered wafers that are stuffed with cream. I loved the Noir Orange flavor and ate them all pretty quickly, and I shared the Coconut ones with my family and they loved them.
• Smucker's Fruit & Honey Fruit Spread in Strawberry Jalapeno - These are made with real fruit and sweetened with natural honey. The strawberry jalapeno combo threw me off at first, but I'm willing to try it and I bet it'll be good because I actually really like spicy/sweet flavors.

This is a review for the Sakura box with snacks from Japan. I love the simple packaging and design of the box; it's very classy and pretty. I especially like the beautiful sakura blossom illustration on the informational card.

The box contained eight snacks, some of which were new to me and some that were old favorites. I love international snack boxes because they always have something exciting to try that I've never had before, and Japanese snacks are a big favorite because they're often as cute as they are delicious!

• Lychee Gummy Candy - These gluten-free gummies are individually wrapped and have a ton of flavor. I've tried the mango gummies from the same brand, and the lychee ones are just as good.
• Super Cola Candy - Cola flavored candies are popular in Japan and all of the ones I've tried were of the fizzy variety. These are a solid balls that have a hard sour outside coating and soft and chewy core.
• Special Hi-Chew - I love Hi-Chews! They're kind of like Starbursts but better because they're infused with bits of real fruit. I haven't tried these yet, but based on the packaging I think the flavor I received was orange.
• Flavor Burst Peach Gum - This pack contained three peach flavored gumballs, but they don't all taste the same. One is sour and I'm assuming the other two are sweet. I haven't tried them yet, but I really like that they offer variations on the same flavor.

• Panda Cookies - These are so cute! I've seen them in other reviews but I've never been able to try them so I was so happy they were in this box. They're cookies with a blend of white and milk chocolate on top with different panda faces (see photo below) and they tasted delicious.
• Chocolate Cream Cookie - This had three little wafer cookies inside with a creamy chocolate filling. They were really light and would go great with morning coffee.
• Umaibo Vegetable Flavor - I've had different flavors of these Umaibo snacks before and I love them. They're a corn puff snack that's a household name in Japan.
• Meito Fish Wafer - I've tried these wafers before, too, but was very happy to receive another one in this box. It's made of a light wafer cookie with cream filling inside. I received the strawberry flavor.

Bottom Line: I'm so impressed by the Japan box from Taste and Curiosity! I think the price is very reasonable and the products are high-quality. There's a good mix of savory and sweet snacks. I highly recommend this box to anyone who wants to try international snacks!
