December Shades Club Review and Coupon

If you want to up your sunglasses game, Shades Club is a great way to do so! Get a high quality pair of shades each month plus fun accessories.

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! at a discounted price in exchange for an honest review.

Shades Club began almost eight years ago to create high quality, well-priced shades for friends and evolved into an off-the-beaten path vibe, complimented by a premium sunglasses collection and lifestyle. To give the world better access to quality sunglasses, they got rid of the middleman and brought forth their direct-to-consumer subscription service.

Shades Club consults with a team of designers and stylists with more than 20 years of experience combined in the eyewear industry. The shades are made in the same factories as other top brands. There are four subscription prices:
  • Monthly: $45
  • 4 Months: $112 ($28 per box)
  • 6 Months: $162 ($27 per box)
  • 12 Months: $288 ($24 per box)
All orders ship with free 2-3 day shipping to the U.S. and international shipping prices vary based on the destination.

I love aviators, so the December shades are perfect for me! The Jetsetter Aviator is inspired by Colombia and features a gold metallic frame with lenses tinted from blue to a light tan at the bottom. You'll also receive a microfiber bag that doubles as a cleaning cloth with each pair of shades.

The "Shades" brand name is on the end of each arm of the sunglasses. The glasses are sturdy and feel well worth the price of the subscription to me, especially if you sign up for a multi-month plan, which lowers the cost of each individual box. I've spent way more than $45 on sunglasses before that were of the same or lesser quality!

Your first box will come with the above branded fold up case. Shades Club also includes other extras, such as a koozie or sunglass hanging kit, in random boxes here and there (not every box will come with a second item).
Bottom Line: Shades Club sends high quality, well-made sunglasses for a reasonable price. The monthly box may be a bit expensive for some, but consider that you'll likely spend more for other name brand shades of similar quality. I'm very impressed by the Jetsetter Aviator shades and will be wearing them everywhere!

Jady's JuJu Pet Box Review - Meow Cat Box

Jadey's JuJu is a new pet subscription box that sends high quality, premium treats and toys for cats, dogs, and horses! They've just launched and I'm so impressed by their first cat box.

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review. Post contains affiliate links.

The mission of Jadey's JuJu is to provide well-researched premium products for your pet while also spreading good JuJu around to animals in need! They use profits from the boxes to donate to legitimate 501c3 pet rescues.

Just a note, your box will look different than mine (see photo above); I was sent an unprinted box because they are currently printing up larger boxes for the quarterly subscriptions.

There are six different box options and prices available. There is the "Arooo" box for dogs, "Meow" box for cats, and "Neighh" box for horses. All three are available in monthly single ($42.99 per box) or quarterly boxes ($59.99 every three months). Billing dates for the quarterly box are the first of March, June, September, and December.

This is a review for the quarterly cat box, which comes with two to three superior treats, two to three high end toys, a litter box product (such as odor eliminator), one high end supplement (such as a probiotic), one surprise for a cat loving human, a random and well thought out kitty-specific surprise/product/treat, and an entry in the bucket for an extra special biannual gift! All of the items are handpicked by the Jadey's JuJu team to ensure quality and are ethically sourced. Product ingredients are listed on the treat bags and on the manufacturer's websites. The Jadey's crew is experienced with foods/supplements/treats that could trigger allergy issues so they work hard to pack your box with the most "pawsome" selection!

This box was packed with goodies for my cat, Tully! As soon as I opened it the first thing I said was, "whoa, that's a lot of stuff!" All of the products are well worth the $59.99 price point, especially considering the items are well-researched and handpicked for quality. The box had four toys, two treats, a litter deodorizer, a nutritional supplement, and a human treat.

Two of the toys were kickers (the Big Ben and big fish), which are Tully's favorite. She immediately took to the Big Ben toy but still isn't sure about the fish. I wish I could get her to scratch it instead of my couch! The other toys are a cat face laser pointer (another favorite) and a catnip troll. Tully doesn't respond to catnip but she'll still have fun batting the troll around.

Little to no interest in the fish (so far) but she absolutely adores the Big Ben kicker! I swear she avoids any scratch toys just to spite me.

The box also included PureBites duck treats, Animal Essentials Ocean Kelp supplement, and Boo Boo's Best Boosters! Calamari treats for dogs and cats. Tully is the most picky eater on Earth, especially when it comes to treats, so I wasn't sure how these would go over. She sniffed at the PureBites and licked them a bit before losing interest and had no interest in the Calamari, and I haven't tried the Ocean Kelp supplement yet (I think I'll just sprinkle that one on her food). I think the PureBites are still a possibility, but I'll pass the Calamari ones along to my brother because his cats love any and all treats.

Tully inspecting the duck treats. The dust is just from the treats, I promise my bed isn't actually that dirty!

Last up are the Litter Maid Litter Box Deodorizer and a cute cat towel for cat moms and/or dads! I've never used a litter deodorizer before but I'm sure it will be a blessing. It helps trap odors and keeps litter boxes cleaner for longer. The dish towel has an adorable black cat print, which is perfect because it matches my little house panther!

Bottom Line: Jadey's JuJu is one of the best pet boxes I've ever reviewed! I was impressed by the quality and variety of the products, as well as the fact that they give back to animal charities with every purchase. This box is definitely worth it to spoil your pets and help other animals in need!

MunchPak delivers new and popular snacks from around the world. They have several subscription options available, and if you love snacks like me, you have to check this box out!

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

MunchPak has both healthy and not-so-healthy snacks, depending on your preferences. Boxes are hand packed by a real person in Arizona and is shipped within 24 hours of your order receipt. Inside you'll find snacks from all around the world!

  • HealthPak: an assortment of snacks made with non-GMO and natural ingredients

My box was hand packed by Elizabeth and came with a cute MunchPak sticker. There are several pricing options:
  • MunchPak: $13.95 per box for 5+ snacks, $23.95 per box for 10+ snacks, and $43.95 per box for 20+ snacks. Boxes are available once every two weeks or once a month
  • HealthPak: $32.95 for 10+ snacks only, delivered once monthly
  • CheatPak: $32.95 for 10+ snacks, delivered once monthly
There are also multi-month options with more savings per individual box. Shipping is free to the U.S. International shipping is available but I could not find an exact shipping price on their website.

This is a review for the 10+ snacks MunchPak. I was very happy with this box and loved digging into all of the fun international snacks!

  • Toxic Waste Nuclear Fusion Hazardously Sour Candy (Brazil): These have two flavors in every piece and remind me of the Warheads candies I used to have when I was a kid. I haven't sampled them yet because my sour tolerance has changed drastically since then, but based on the packaging I'm going to guess they're pretty potent.
  • Vidal Gummi Snowmen (Spain): I love gummies and these strawberry and apple shaped snowmen were so good! They were chewy with a sugar coating.
  • KitKat Chunky Peanut Butter (Poland): Can we get these in the U.S.? It was delicious and loaded with peanut butter.
  • Reptar on Ice Candy Bar (U.S.): A Reptar bar! This was filled with blue frosting that turns your tongue blue.
  • ChikChak Hot & Spicy Flavor Snacks (Israel): These crunchy little bits had a ton of spice and were really good!
  • Ulker Cokomel Strawberry Marshmallows (Turkey): These puffs had a cookie base with a strawberry marshmallow coated with milk chocolate.
  • Puchao Ramune Candies (Japan): These are a soft gummy candy with soda flavor. Ramune is a popular soda from Japan that has a kind of crisp, lemonade flavor.

  • Cheetos Bolitas (Mexico): Yes, I love Mexican Cheetos! These were nice and spicy. I wish they were available in the U.S.
  • Fabitos Bacon Bits with Ketchup (Brazil): These are puffy snacks with a bacon flavor and a packet of ketchup inside.

The box didn't come with two KitKats, I just took a second picture of it on accident.
  • Chocolate Pocky (Japan): I love Pocky! It's so easy to eat the whole box in one sitting. If you're not familiar, they're cookie sticks covered in a variety of toppings, and these had a smooth chocolate that was so good.
  • Jelly Belly French Vanilla Soda (U.S.): I love Jelly Belly jellybeans but I'm not so sure about the flavor in a soda. I think it'll probably be pretty sweet so I might pass this off to someone else.

This MunchPak had a great mix of sweet and savory snacks! I like that they feature international ones that aren't readily available in the U.S.

4ever Magic Cosmetics Double Shade Eyebrow Gel Review

I overplucked my brows in high school and they've been the same, so I'm always trying new products to fill them in. I love a full, dark brow, so color enhancing products are a must. The 4ever Magic Cosmetics Double Shade Eyebrow Gel is one of the best brow products I've used yet!

*Disclaimer: This product was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

4ever Magic is a certified vegan and cruelty-free company (certified cruelty-free by PETA) that has spent the past three years perfecting the formula for the Double Shade Eyebrow Gel. This cream formula is a customized two-shade color with castor oil to stimulate hair growth. The product is made in a certified laboratory in the U.S. and is also water resistant, smudge-free, and long-lasting.

I received the shade "Magic Dazzle Brown" and it matched perfectly with my brow color. The kit comes with the duo color gel in a glass jar and a Majestic Angled & Spoolie Brush. I also received an extra single brush to use.

I usually use brow pencils to fill in my brows because I find them easier to apply and I like that I can build the color gradually. I haven't had good luck with brow gels in the past, as they were either too dark or too hard for me to apply evenly. The Double Shade Eyebrow Gel was not like any product I've used in the past -- it was incredibly easy to apply and the gel looks very natural.

You can see in the photo above that one shade is slightly lighter (top) than the other. The lighter shade is for the beginning of the brow and the darker shade is for the arch and end. The brush is perfectly angled to create short, hair-like strokes and the spoolie helps brush unruly hairs in place.

Here's a before and after: as I said, my natural brows are pathetically thin. I've been trying to grow them out, but if you've ever overplucked you know that it's a long process. At this point I've just resigned myself to the fact that I'll have to use brow products from here on out. But luckily this gel is amazing! I love how natural it looks in the after photo. The brush makes it so easy to apply it into whatever brow shape you want, and you can add in more of the dark shade to build up the color if you want to go darker than what I've done here.
Bottom Line: The 4ever Magic Cosmetics Double Shade Eyebrow Gel is going to be a holy grail product for me! I have zero complaints about the formula, application, or results. Plus, a little goes a long way so I can see this jar lasting for quite some time.

December Degusta Box Review and Coupon

I was hoping for some sweet treats in this month's Degusta Box for the holidays and they did not disappoint!

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Degusta Box costs $19.99 per month for 9 to 14 full-sized foods, including sauces, cookies, chips, candies, and more. Shipping is free to the U.S. The boxes are also packed by people at Friendship Industries, a company that employs persons with disabilities and has been Degusta Box's exclusive USA packager for the last two and a half years.

December's box had a total of 12 items from 10 different brands. Here's what was inside:
  • G. H. Cretors Popped Corn ($1.79 each) - Chicago mix popcorn! For those unfamiliar, this mix is made with caramel and cheddar corn. It may sound odd, but I swear, the flavor combo is phenomenal and I love the G. H. Cretors brand.
  • SunSpire Dark Chocolate SunDrops ($5.99) - These candies are made with no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. I received the Dark Chocolate SunDrops, but other subscribers may receive a different flavor.
  • Campfire Mini-Marshmallows ($.50) - This little snack pack has gluten- and fat-free mini multicolored marshmallows. I used to snack on these as a kid!
  • Garden of Life Gol Bar ($2.49) - This is a simple protein bar made from certified organic, Non-GMO Project verified whole food ingredients. I received a Maple flavored bar and it was pretty good!
  • Bahlsen Iced Cinnamon Stars ($4.99) - These cookies have hints of hazelnut in with the cinnamon for a perfect holiday cookie. I love the light frosting and cinnamon-y crunch.
  • Chimes Ginger Chews ($1.99) - I buy these often and I like their spicy heat. I received the original flavor, but other subscribers may receive a different flavor. These are great for a snack or to soothe an upset stomach.
  • Hu Chocolate Crunchy Mint Dark Chocolate ($5.99) - This is a cult-favorite vegan and paleo chocolate bar that is free from dairy, palm oil, emulsifiers, soy lecithin, gluten, refined sugar, cane sugar, and sugar alcohols. It was a little bit too bitter for me (I prefer milk chocolate), but I can see where it would be fantastic for someone who enjoys this type of chocolate.

  • Chef Paul Prudhomme's Magic Seasoning Blends ($3.00) - This is the featured item for the month and is the "Poultry Magic" flavor. It's a sprinkle-on seasoning that enhances flavors with notes of garlic, onion, and herbs. Sounds great; I can't wait to cook with it!
  • Campire Fire Mini-Marshmallows ($2.50) - This is a bigger, 16 oz package of all-white mini marshmallows. I plan on using them to bake into cookies!
  • Vahdam Assorted Teas Sampler ($5.99 for 15 tea bags) - These teas are in single serve pyramid nylon bags and are sealed at the source for the freshest cup of tea.
  • Dave's Gourmet Creamy Ginger Citrus ($6.99) - This sauce is vegan, gluten-free, and non-GMO with jalapenos, lime, ginger, and more whipped into a rich, creamy texture. It sounds so good and I will probably use it with grilled chicken.

Bottom Line: The December Degusta Box had another fantastic mix of sweet and savory snacks, as well as pantry items to use throughout the month. I especially like the G. H. Cretors popcorn!

Her Fit Club Review

I'm not a natural athlete or someone who loves working out, but I do it because I know it's good for me and I do enjoy some parts of it (but not cardio). It's more fun to work out when you have fun clothes do it in, and Her Fit Club is a great subscription to help you build up your workout wardrobe!

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Her Fit Club sends workout clothes, beauty products, and more through four subscription tiers:
  • Fit Fashion Box ($64.99) - Get a handpicked sports bra or full coverage top with matching athletic bottoms and a small lifestyle gift.
  • Fit Beauty Box ($74.99) - Get a handpicked outfit and bath and beauty products ranging from bath bombs to organic lotions, face masks, body butters, and more.
  • Fit Move Box ($79.99) - Get a handpicked outfit, bath products, and a new piece of workout equipment.
  • Fit Box Premiere ($149.99) - Get a handpicked outfit with matching running shoes, bath products, and a piece of workout equipment.
Shipping is free with all subscription options.

This is a review for the Fit Fashion Box. When you first sign up you'll fill out a short survey that Her Fit Club will use to handpick your outfits. You can choose between "Sexy" or "A Little More Covered" styles, colors and patterns, legging length, bra size, and shirt size. You can also choose to subscribe monthly or just order one box.

I chose the "A Little More Covered" style and capri length leggings. My box came with a bra, leggings, a full coverage t-shirt, and two lifestyle items.

I love this sports bra! The design is really cute and the straps in the back are just my style. I also love the purple color. It fits perfectly and has extra padding for support.

I received a basic black t-shirt as my workout top, which is also perfect for my style. This arrived with a cute knot tied in the bottom, but while I was unpacking everything it came unraveled. Nothing too difficult to tie back up myself if I want to. The shirt is thin and breathable so it'll be great for working out in.

I also really like these leggings. They're a solid gray color with ruching and ties at the ends. It's just enough detail for me, and I prefer solid colors in neutral so these are perfect. They also fit really well and are cute enough to wear out and about, too.

The two lifestyle items I received are a Moni's Coconut Scrubs Classic Coconut body scrub and a workout towel from Activ5. The scrub is deliciously scented and great for pampering post-workout. The towel is from a company that makes a portable workout device and app, and there was also a 15 percent off coupon included.
Bottom Line: I'm very pleased with this Her Fit Club box! All of the clothes were perfectly suited for my style and fit really well. I'm hesitant to buy workout clothes online due to the variance in sizes, but there were no issues here. The two lifestyle items are a fun bonus, too!
