May The Bookworm Box Review

I love finding new subscription boxes, and finding new book boxes is one of my all time favorite things. I love to read and am always looking for new great books. The Bookworm Box is a great subscription that not only sends you signed books and fun merch, they donate 100% of their profits to charity, too!

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

First, I love the cute little bookworm logo. Second, The Bookworm Box sends two autographed books, a bookworm item, and fun book swag each month for $39.99 per month. They are currently sold out, but new spots open up every month and sell out quickly, so if you're interested in subscribing I recommend following them on social media (links at the end of the post) to see when spots open up.

The Bookworm Box is in the process of obtaining their 501c3 charity status. They accept donations of books to include in the boxes and also purchase them from authors to share with subscribers. 100% of their profits after overhead costs are donated to various charities, and has of December 31, 2016 they've donated approximately $750,000 to charity! You can see a list of all of the charities that they've donated to on their website.

I was super excited to break into The Bookworm Box! I had no idea what to expect, other than the two books of course, and I was pleasantly surprised by all of the goodies inside. I was surprised how heavy the box was, which only added to the intrigue.

Aside from the two autographed books, this month's box had six extra items, all branded with The Bookworm Box's logo. There were also a few inserts that could be used as bookmarks.

I think it's really fun that the books are autographed by their authors! My box had two romance novels, which is not my preferred genre, but I will share these with people who I know will enjoy reading them.

Tapping the Billionaire by Max Monroe: So Max Monroe is actually a pseudonym for a secret duo of romance writers who are New York Times bestsellers under this name. This book is the first in the "Billionaire Bad Boys" series; here's the blurb from Amazon:
Georgia Cummings has zero luck with dating, and the era of the internet is not her friend. No matter how fast she runs, how many corners she turns, she can’t find her way out of this weird, alternate universe where men think d*ck pics are a replacement for small talk and getting to know a girl. One more crotch selfie and she might write men off for good…

But why can’t she stop fantasizing about him?

Kline Brooks is the quintessential billionaire bad boy—dark, styled, short hair, muscles for days, and a panty-dropping smile. Except—he isn’t.

As his employee, he won’t touch her with a ten foot pole. But she won’t touch him either.

Too bad their hormones missed the memo.

Emerge by S. E. Hall: This book is also the first in a series, the "Evolve" series. Here's the blurb:
"You never have to be without me, Laney, never." He lied...my everything I ever knew, trusted, wanted...I am, in fact, without him. On my own and out of my shell, I learn new things about life, friendship and...myself. Like what you've always known may not be what you've always wanted.

Dane Kendrick awakened things within me that I never knew existed, unraveling and uncovering the real Laney Jo Walker. I'm a new adult...so is my story.

S. E. Hall autograph

This box would be a good value with the two autographed books alone, but The Bookworm Box does a great job of sending extra bookish goodies, too! The bookworm magnet is too cute and is already on my fridge. The pen is nice quality (who doesn't love a good pen?) and the notepad with sticky tabs is an essential for any reader.

There was also a nail kit with The Bookworm Box logo on it which is not something I would expect from a book box but it's a nice item nonetheless. I'm going to take this to work and leave it at my desk for emergency hangnail removal. The pouch is clear and has a long string attached, so I'm assuming you can wear this around your neck and store your phone or other small items inside of it. It's actually a great idea for travel when you want to keep something close to you, maybe under a jacket or something like that.

The last item is a big canvas cloth. I think it's a table cloth? It could definitely be used as one, or as a blanket for a picnic. There is no info card describing the items and I couldn't find it on their website, but that's what I would use it for.
Bottom Line: I loved the May box from The Bookworm Box! Even though the books weren't quite my style I think it's amazing that they send autographed books and donate their profits to charity. The extra goodies were a lot of fun and high quality, too.

Konjac Sponge by Dew Puff Review

Have you heard of konjac sponges? They sound strange but they're my favorite skincare accessory to use. If you like natural and effective products, I highly recommend trying the Konjac Sponges from Dew Puff!

*Disclaimer: These products were sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

The Dew Puff sponges are all-natural skin cleansing for all skin types. They're made from 100% plant-based konjac root, also known as elephant yam or kon-nyaku in Japanese. Konjac has many uses, but in regards to skincare it's been used as a facial massage accessory in Korea and is now gaining a lot of popularity elsewhere. It's great as exfoliating tool because it's much more gentle on even the most sensitive skin types than other options.

The sponges are firm when dry but become soft and puffy when wet. They create a perfect pH balance on your skin and renew and brighten without any harmful irritation. I absolutely love how gentle and soothing these feel; it really is like getting a mini facial massage every time!

The Dew Puffs come in three options, and my favorite is the Bamboo Charcoal Dew Puff. It's infused with, you guessed it, bamboo charcoal and is great for oily and blemished skin. You don't even need to use a separate cleanser with it, but you can if you want to. I like to use this in the shower to gently run over my face for morning cleansing. No lie, I have been using this for only a week and the acne and blemishes I had been fighting for about a month have already started to clear up!

The Asian Clay Dew Puff is great for dry, flaky skin but I like it for my oily skin because clay is great for oil absorption as well. It's infused with Asian clay and removes impurities for a healthy glow. It helps stimulate skin cells and absorb impurities below the pore level. I have been using this on opposite days of when I use the Bamboo Charcoal Dew Puff and the combo of the two has done wonders for my skin!

The Original Dew Puff is great for all skin types and is even gentle enough to use on baby's skin. This one doesn't have any extra infusions but is just as soothing as the Bamboo Charcoal and Asian Clay. All three can be used with a cleanser, but this one is probably best for that since it doesn't have any extra additives.

Dew Puffs are easy to use. I run mine under warm water until it's fully damp and then press out any extra water by pushing it in between both hands (the instructions advise not to wring this out, like in a twisting motion). I then massage it across my face without cleanser first, then I add a drop of cleanser and run it over my face again. Be sure to thoroughly wash out the cleanser after using the sponge and allow it to fully dry before using it again. I recommend buying two, that way you can use one every day because they do take about 24 hours to fully dry out again/
Bottom Line: I love all three Dew Puffs! They are so pillowy and soft and I've already noticed an improvement on my skin. My blemishes are resolving and I really think it's because these do an excellent job of removing makeup and cleansing without being abrasive.

May Valor Blocks Review

Valor Blocks is a subscription box that features officially licensed items from branches of the U.S. military. Prior to this month only the U.S. Army Block was available, but they've recently launched the Navy, Marines, and Air Force blocks, too!

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review. Post contains affiliate links.

This is a review for the U.S. Army Valor Block. Blocks costs $34 per month with $6 shipping to the continental U.S. and military bases worldwide.  All active duty military and veterans receive a 10% discount.

Each month you'll receive four to six officially licensed collectibles and an exclusive t-shirt (you'll choose your t-shirt size when you first subscribe).

The May Valor Block had five collectibles plus the t-shirt. Before I first received these boxes I wasn't really sure what would be inside because I figured there weren't too many different military items out there. I was wrong. This is the third Valor Block I've received and I think they do a great job of sending fun and practical items.
  • U.S. Army T-Shirt: This t-shirt is the one that was on last month's info card as well, so I assume that was a misprint. Black is my favorite color to wear and the design on this is nice and simple. Below the United States Army text is a crest and a star.
  • U.S. Army Patch: This heat-seal patch can be ironed onto pretty much anything. It boasts the Great Seal of the United States.
  • U.S. Army Luggage Tags: This pack of two luggage tags feature the official U.S. Army logo and are made of a rubber material, so you don't have to worry about them breaking off of your bags.
  • U.S. Army Eagle Crest Lapel Pin: This pin has the same Eagle Crest design as the patch and can be pinned to a jacket, shirt, bag, or anywhere else you choose.
  • U.S. Army Magnet: This is a fairly large magnet that also features the Eagle Crest seal. It came in a protective velvet bag that would make it nice for gifting as well.
  • U.S. Army Logo Challenge Coin: Each box will contain an exclusive challenge coin, and this month's design features the Army logo. Challenge coins were historically used to represent your squadron or unit if you were ever challenged to prove your membership. They're a morale booster and a great way to show your support of the military!
Bottom Line: This month's Valor Block featured some great items. I really like the t-shirt and the challenge coins are a unique item, too (especially since they're exclusive to the box). I think Valor Blocks is a great way to show your support for the military, or to gift to a current active duty member or veteran.

May Harrison Blake Apparel Review and $15 Off Coupon

Harrison Blake Apparel is a must-have subscription for any guy who wants to up his style quotient. They send a great package of coordinated accessories and I've been really impressed by their items lately!

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Harrison Blake Apparel costs $25 per month for a necktie and four coordinated accessories, sometimes more. They also have a bow tie subscription that's $16 per month for two self-tie bow ties. Shipping is free to the U.S. for both options.

The May assortment actually came with a tie and five accessories. When I first opened everything up it didn't seem as color-coordinated as past packages, but I can see where these could go together in a more casual outfit.
  • Harrison Blake Anchor Necktie ($30): I love the design of this tie. I'm a fan of small patterns like this, and the maroon color is really nice.
  • Harrison Blake Plaid Cotton Pocket Square ($20): I actually really like plaid, especially green. The colors in this are great and it could be dressed up or down easily.
  • Harrison Blake Baseball Cap ($25): I think this is the first time Harrison Blake Apparel has sent a baseball cap and I think it's a fun item for spring. Now that it's sunnier out this is a nice hat to wear around in the spring weather.
  • Harrison Blake Stainless Steel Ring ($35): The ring was so small that I think I accidentally left it out of the photo above, but I took a solo photo of it below. I like the design and it's really well made.
  • Harrison Blake No Show Boat Socks ($7): Usually Harrison Blake Apparel sends taller socks but these are a fun pattern and a good option for the warmer months and casual outfits.
  • Harrison Blake Foldable Water Bottle (bonus item): I love foldable water bottles. They're so handy for travel and just being out and about, whether you're walking around a festival or going camping.

Bottom Line: I enjoyed this package from Harrison Blake Apparel and I think the tie and accessories are another great batch! I especially liked the socks and the bonus water bottle.

May Chicago Cubs Sports Crate Review

When I first found out that Sports Crate was launching I knew I had to sign up! I don't think I've ever been more excited for a subscription box. There are other sports boxes out there, but this one caught my eye because it was officially licensed by MLB. I signed up for the Chicago Cubs Season Pass and not-so-patiently awaited my first crate.

*Disclaimer: This box was purchased by See, Shop, Love!

Sports Crate is the newest member of the Loot Crate family and is currently available for 10 MLB teams: Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets, New York Yankees, St. Louis Cardinals (boo), San Francisco Giants, and the Texas Rangers.

Crates cost $39.99 per month and currently ship only to the U.S. I purchased the Season Pass (all five boxes from May to September) for $179.99. The Season Pass option is only available for May, so sign up before the end of the month if you want that option. If you sign up for a monthly subscription you'll be charged on the 10th of each month. Subscriptions do not automatically renew at the end of the season.

Each box will contain 5-7 officially licensed, team-specific items valued at $80+ that are exclusive to Sports Crate. They can be anything from gear to collectibles, and more. There will also be a different theme for each month.

I did not receive a shipment notification for this box which was a real bummer for someone has impatient as me. I was aware that Sports Crate was going to ship the first box in the third week of May, though, so I kept an eye on their social media accounts and saw that people started to receive their Crates around the end of that week. Sports Crate stated that boxes shipped on Monday the 15th and I received mine on Thursday, so that's pretty quick shipping. I just like to have a tracking number because I have had boxes not get delivered to me in the past and I prefer to be able to track the shipping.

But anyway, once I got my box I couldn't wait to tear it open! May's theme was "Bringin' the Heat" and featured pitchers. There were five items inside, plus a one month subscription to MLB.TV (this came in the May box only). I already have an MLB.TV subscription, but it's definitely a nice addition for those who don't.

The item I was most excited for was the t-shirt. I spend way too much money on Cubs clothing so I hoped that I'd get some good shirts in these boxes. I have to admit that I was a little disappointed with this Bringin' the Heat T-Shirt shirt because I don't love the design. Yes, the Cubs colors are red, white, and blue, but I would have preferred a white shirt or blue shirt instead of predominantly red. It's just a little too bright for me. The design of the shirt is a three-quarter length sleeve with moisture wicking fabric and it's cut similar to a jersey in style and length. It also has a pitcher's mitt design in the background. I will definitely wear this to the ballpark but probably not anywhere else.

Sports Crate released spoilers for each team that included which pitcher would be featured on the collectible action figure, so I knew Jon Lester was coming with this box. These action figures are the main reason I subscribed and I'm curious to see what players they include in the next boxes (if there is no Anthony Rizzo I'll be pretty sad, to be honest!).
  • Bringin' the Heat Pin: I've already attached this pin to the bag I take with me to work every day. It's inspired by "flame throwing pitchers" and is an appropriate design for this month's theme.
  • Jon Lester Action Figure: So apparently these action figures are called BALLERS and they have SportsFlex posable technology with 21 points of articulation. Basically, you can bend him into pretty much whatever pose you want. I think they're really nice and unique. I would have preferred Kyle Hendricks because he is my fave, but Lester is obviously the ace of the rotation so I understand why he was featured. See the photo at the end of the post to see what the figure looks like out of the box.
  • Jon Lester Topps Trading Card: I'm 28 years old but I still like collecting baseball cards. Each box will feature a limited edition Topps card and I'm assuming they will be the same player as the BALLERS figure.

This isn't listed on the info card (also pictured above), but I'm assuming it's an extra item SportsCrate threw in for fun. I saw it in some other peoples' unboxing videos so I think everyone got one. At first I thought it was a fanny pack because of the way it was folded in the box, but it's a SportsCrate Cooler. There was a card inserted in the front that said it was for keeping your drinks cool during the game. I also like that the info card is designed to look like a ticket.

Last up is the Miguel Montero Cornhole Game. This is a really fun and creative item to go with the pitchers theme, since obviously the catcher is an important part of the pitcher/catcher team. I have to be pedantic and point out that Lester throws to Willson Contreras, but I'm not holding that against Sports Crate. Regardless, corn hole is a favorite with my family so I'm going to take this mini version to the next get-together and I'm sure it'll be a hit.

Jon Lester BALLERS Action Figure

Miggy Montero Corn Hole Game
One last thing I want to mention about Sports Crate is that each month someone will receive a Golden Ticket that is good for a special VIP experience (like a player meet-and-greet, on field experience, or more). Those who sign up for the Season Pass will double their chances to win a Golden Ticket, which was also another great motivator for me to pick the Season Pass. If I get a Golden Ticket I'll probably lose my mind, sob like a baby, and then need to lie supine on the floor for a bit to calm down!
Bottom Line: I think the May Chicago Cubs SportsCrate was a lot of fun and had some interesting items. The BALLERS action figure was my favorite and I like that it comes with a matching Topps card. The corn hole game was also fun and unique. I'm very excited to see what's in store for the rest of the season!

May Beauty Box 5 Review

This month's Beauty Box 5 featured five great products for a Summer Date Night theme, plus a bonus sixth item!

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Beauty Box 5 sends five deluxe samples and full-sized products each month valued at $35+. The items are usually pretty varied and can be anything from skincare to hair care to color cosmetics, and more! The box is $12 per month with free shipping to the U.S. and $3 to Canada.

Every product in this month's box was full-sized! Beauty Box 5 usually sends a good amount of full-sized products, but getting all full-sized is always a special treat. They also included an extra skincare bonus.

  • Daily Concepts Exfoliating Body Scrubber ($5.00) - This little sponge buffs away dead skin and roughness. It provides a mild exfoliation and is appropriate for all skin types, even sensitive. The info card says that the smart label will fade when it's time to replace, but I opened mine up and there's no label printed on the sponge itself, so I'm not quite sure what that means. There is a small tag on the side, so maybe that's the part that fades.
  • De La Cruz Arnica Salve - This is the extra bonus item and I really like it. I'm a big fan of anything that deeply moisturizes, and this is great for dry, cracked skin. I liked to use it to soothe my cuticles.
  • Cougar Beauty 24 Hour Liquid Lipstick ($12.99) - The shade isn't printed on the packaging, but based on the color options printed on the side of the box I believe I got Rioja, which is a red/mauve.
  • Jelly Pong Pong Bare Necessities Highlighting Pencil ($17.95) - This peachy pencil can be used as an eyeshadow base, highlighter, and concealer. I usually prefer powder highlighters, but this is good for lining the inner corners of your eyes and waterline.
  • Jersey Shore Cosmetics Mongongo Lip Conditioner ($10.00) - I can never have enough lip balms. This one has a coconut scent and is made with natural and organic ingredients.
  • Nanacoco Jumbo Eye and Lip Pencil ($5.50) - I received the Lime Festival shade and it's a little bit too adventurous for me. It's definitely a good color for spring and summer though if you like daring eye looks.
Bottom Line: May's Beauty Box 5 had a total retail value of $51.44, not including the bonus Arnica Salve. I really liked the lip balm and liquid lipstick!

I love scented products -- candles, sprays, wax melts, all of it! Dollar Scent Club is a new subscription that sends air fresheners in lots of different shapes and styles.

  • Auto Disc for $1.50
There are three bundles you can choose from that can be delivered every three, four, or five weeks:

  • Fresh Linen (home): Floral, fresh, rose, jasmin, violet, musk
  • New Ride (auto): Powdery, white flowers, spicy, amber, woody

  • Spring Meadow (home): Green, fruity, watery, cucumber, melon
  • Strawberry Kiwi (home): Juicy fruits, tart berries
  • Wild Berry (auto): Fruity, berry, red fruit, raspberry
  • Wild Blooms (home): Apple, pear, green, lilac, honeysuckle, lily, geranium, hyacinth
These are the seasonal fragrances. The website does not list scent notes but the names are pretty self-explanatory:
  • Pine (seasonal home and auto)
  • Pumpkin Spice (seasonal home)
  • Lavender Vanilla (seasonal home and auto)
  • Cucumber Melon (seasonal home and auto)
There is also a Surprise Me option if you don't want to pick your scents and would rather receive a surprise option.

I received a good variety of products to share with you all and I am impressed with all of them! I wasn't quite sure what to expect quality-wise because the prices were so low, but I was pleasantly surprised by everything.

The Decor Station is a really cute option for your home or office. It's available in black, gray, and white options and I set up the black one for an example photo. It's easy to assemble, all you have to do is stick the panels into the base and slip the decorative sheet into the panel, then the scent panel goes in the middle. I used the Pine scent first and it smells just like a forest of pine trees. It has a pretty good scent throw, too, considering it's a small display.

The Flameless Candle is another great option. I received the Sweet Vanilla scent and it is wonderful. I keep this on my desk at work because it's not overpowering but it gives off just enough scent that I can enjoy it while I'm working without bothering anyone else. The way it works is you lift up the top and a scented tube is exposed.

The Toilet Paper Air Freshener is something I never would have thought of but is a really handy product! The toilet paper holder in my bathroom is pretty tight so this just barely fits. The way it works is you attach the two separate circles onto either end of the toilet paper roll holder and each time it spins it releases fragrance. The Spring Clean scent is fresh and clean.

The discs on the right hand side of the above photo are the Auto Pendants. I received a few scents to try and currently have the Apple Delight one hanging in my car. I love apple scents and this one is juicy and delicious. It scents the whole vehicle without being too much--sometimes I find that auto air fresheners are too strong and give me a headache, but this one gives off just enough scent to be noticeable without being irritating.

The panel on the left is for the Decor Station, and the small packet above it contains scent sticks with samples of a few of the scents.
Bottom Line: I really liked everything from Dollar Scent Club, especially the Decor Station. I think this is a fun and affordable way to keep your home and car smelling great! My favorite scents so far were the Apple Delight and Pine.

June Cate and Chloe Review and Coupon

Cate and Chloe is gearing up for summer with their June Summer Lovin' box! Inside are three pieces perfect for wearing to the beach or out and about with friends.

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Cate and Chloe has made a few changes this month. Previously subscribers received customized boxes tailored to their style profile, but all new subscribers will not have this option. Instead, Cate and Chloe is offering a choice of three box options with predetermined jewelry pieces. The choices are:

  • The Trend Setter: Always set the trends in your inner circle with eye catching statement pieces and boho chic designs.
  • Modern Classics: Accessorize your life with beautiful, elegant classic jewelry designs for day and night.
  • Mix It Up: Add versatility toy our wardrobe by mixing it up with the most popular modern and classic designs.
I still think that these sound like great options and will provide a lot of variety for your individual style. Cate and Chloe costs $19.99 per month for one piece (The Starter Package), $29.99 per month for two pieces (Double the Fun), and $39.99 for three pieces (Full VIP Status). All three options will include the surprise VIP gift.

This is a review for the three piece Full VIP Status box. I have really enjoyed the pieces I've received from Cate and Chloe thus far and this box might be my most favorite yet! They always do a great job of sending a variety of different pieces.

  • Amber "Eternal" 18k Yellow Gold Plated Necklace ($59) - This necklace is my favorite item this month! I love necklaces with long chains, and this one is even more unique because it has a Y-shaped chain. The natural orange stone is beautiful and totally my style.
  • Alessandra "Vision" 18k White Gold Plated Drop Earrings ($150) - Wow, I didn't realize these retailed for so much individually! They are absolutely gorgeous and perfect for wearing at the office during the day and out at night. They're the perfect size for me, too, because I don't like drop earrings that are too big. The stones are AAA Grade cubic zirconia.
  • Amber "Radiant" Gold Prism Ring ($49) - This ring is really interesting. The hexagon prism is bold and unique and is made of natural quartz. The small access stones are cubic zirconia. This is not something I would have picked out on my own but I'm glad that Cate and Chloe sends things that are outside of my usual comfort zone because I really like this!

The free VIP gift this month is a full-sized Manna Kadar Glo Illuminator ($29). I've gotten Manna Kadar products from other boxes and I really like this brand. This liquid highlighter is very sheer and has just enough shimmer for summertime!

Bottom Line: I love the pieces in my June Cate and Chloe box! The necklace is just my style and the earrings and ring are beautiful, too. I'll also put the Manna Kadar gift to good use!

May Sports Crate Spoilers - Chicago Cubs Box

Models Own Now at Ulta!

Models Own is a fabulous cosmetics brand from the UK that is now available exclusively at Ulta! They're known for their bold, fun, colors and wildly successful makeup and accessories.

*Disclaimer: These products were sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

I had heard of Models Own prior to receiving these products but I didn't realize they weren't widely available in the U.S. yet. They've been around since 2008 and have over 650 eye, face, and lip products. I received two of their Lix Matte Liquid Lipsticks and a Sculpt & Glow Highlighter Powder to try.

The first thing I noticed about these products is how fun and colorful the packaging was. I love the colorful gradients and big, bold logos. Packaging is actually something I look at quite a bit, because as we all know, something eye-catching is more likely to be noticed on a shelf than something a little more bland.

The Lix Matte Liquid Lipsticks are only $7.99 each and are packed with color! They're incredibly pigmented (see swatches at the end of this post) and stay put really well. I received the Berry Cool and Coral Fresh colors to try. I immediately loved the coral shade because it's my favorite lip color to wear. It's very bright and is perfect for the upcoming summer months! The Berry Cool was also wonderful and great for a more sultry look or a night out. All of the liquid lipsticks have a minty scent that feels slightly tingly when you apply it, which I also liked.

The Sculpt & Glow Highlighter Powder retails for $11.99 and comes in two shades, Golden Sand and Peach Pearl. I received Golden Sand and it perfectly comments my warm undertones. I think this has just enough shimmer and really helped my contour pop. It has a smooth application and a really beautiful finish.

Here are the products swatched (top to bottom): Coral Fresh Lix Matte Liquid Lipstick, Berry Cool Lix Matte Liquid Lipstick, and Sculpt & Glow Highlighter Powder in Golden Sand.
Bottom Line: I'm so excited that Models Own is now available in the U.S. at Ulta stores and Ulta.com! The products I got to try were beautifully pigmented and worked well. I like that everything is very affordably priced and that they have a wide range of products available. I can't wait to try more!

If you like reviewing products and getting free stuff (who doesn't?), you need to check out Daily Goodie Box! They're a completely free box that sends you lots of different products to try in exchange for your honest reviews.

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Daily Goodie Box really is free. You'll never have to enter any credit card information; all they need from you is an address to ship the box to. Boxes are sent out based on availability so creating an account doesn't guarantee a box, but they offer plenty of ways to earn one.

When you create an account on the Daily Goodie Box website you'll fill out a survey with information about yourself, such as your age, gender, education level, etc. I highly recommend interacting with them on social media, especially Facebook (link at the end of this post), as they often give out boxes on their accounts.

The boxes I've gotten have always been packed with really good products! I would tend to think that because it's a free box that the quality would be lacking, but I would be wrong. Everything I've sampled from Daily Goodie Box has been high quality and many of the items have become new favorites.

This box was heavy so I was excited to see what was packed inside. There were 11 full-sized products from 10 different brands!

  • Natralia Eczema Body Wash and Shampoo - I've had eczema ever since I was little and while it's gotten better as I've aged, I do have flare-ups on occasion. This is marketed towards children but I'm sure it is appropriate for all ages. It's a soap-free wash and shampoo that's pH balanced to be gentle on children's skin and is free from sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), paraffin, coal, and pine tar.
  • Kicking Horse Coffee Kick Ass Ground Coffee - I love the name of this brand! I had high hopes for this coffee and it did turn out to be pretty kick ass. It's a dark roast with lots of flavor that's described as sweet, smoky, and audacious. I'm not great at picking up flavor notes in coffee, but I can say this was bold and full-bodied and tasted delicious to me!
  • Prince of Peace 100% Natural Ginger Candy - I love ginger candies, especially to soothe an upset stomach. They have a nice spicy flavor and taste great as a treat anytime, but ginger has been proven to help bring comfort to an upset stomach.
  • Georgia Grinders Creamy Peanut Butter - I've never seen peanut butter in a squeeze pack, but here it is! This is gluten-free and vegan and made with only peanuts and sea salt.
  • Ona Cookies - I received the peanut butter flavor to try. They're made with clean ingredients, no refined sugars. and healthy fats. They're pretty good and have a sweeter taste than I was expecting. When I first bit in I tasted coconut more than peanut butter, and then I looked at the ingredients list and saw that they contain organic shredded coconut and organic coconut oil.
  • Volo Vitamins Energy Stickpacks - I got the berry and citrus flavors. These are made with a proprietary blend of vitamins, minerals, and 17 fruits with natural energy boosters of B vitamins and essential amino acids. Usually caffeine is the only thing that gets me going in the morning, but I'm willing to give these a try.
  • Viter Energy Caffeinated Breath Mints - These have 40 mg of caffeine per mint, which is a little less than half of what's in an eight oz cup of coffee. Each mint also has niacin (B3), Vitamin B6, folic acid (B9), and Vitamin B12. They also have zero calories.
  • Andalou Naturals Hyaluronic DMAE Lift & Firm Cream - Andalou Naturals is a favorite of mine so I was happy to receive this! I recently ran out of night cream and I think I'm going to buy a full-sized jar of this as a replacement. It's made with fruit stem cells, resveratrol COQ10, DMAE (dimethylaminoethanol, supposedly slows aging), and hyaluronic acid to lift and firm skin. Andalou Naturals is also gluten-free, vegan, Non-GMO Project verified, and Leaping Bunny cruelty-free verified.
  • Tiger Balm Pain Relieving Patch - I have pretty regular (minor) backaches due to a tailbone injury when I was younger so I usually take a heating pad with me to work since I have to sit in an office chair all day and it can aggravate the issue. This is a convenient patch that sticks to your skin and provides long-lasting relief of minor aches and pains. I applied it and it immediately felt cooling and soothing on my back, and it lasted quite a while, too!
  • Swago Cologne Wipes - This says "Smell Like a Gentleman," and although I am a woman I'm still going to use this. I regularly wear a different men's cologne because I like the way it works with my natural chemistry and whatnot, so I'm not opposed to trying another one! The website says it has notes of wormwood, bergamot (fave!), cardamom, lavender, orange blossom, cinnamon, cumin, wood, musk, amber, vanilla and tonka bean--basically, all of my favorite scent notes.
Bottom Line: This was another great box from Daily Goodie Box! It had some really great brands and products and I enjoyed trying them. I definitely found a bunch of new things to work into my lifestyle!
