If you're running low on inspiration for meal time,
PlateJoy is just what you need! This meal planning service is a great way to treat yourself to healthy, balanced meals that taste great. They also have a ton of different options to fit any dietary needs.
*Disclaimer: I received a free trial of the PlateJoy service. Post contains affiliate links.
For only $8 per month, you'll get access to a ton of recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. PlateJoy also provides all of the ingredients you'll need for your shopping list to make the meals.
They do not deliver ingredients, but rather provide you with the recipes and shopping lists. They do offer ingredient delivery through Instant Cart for certain states (see my intro post, link below, for more information on that).

here.
After you sign up for PlateJoy, you'll fill out an in-depth survey that asks for whom you're cooking, if you have any weight loss goals, what kinds of ingredients you like and don't like, if you have any dietary restrictions, and more. They offer personalized options for paleo, vegetarian, gluten-free, low carb, weight loss, clean eating, kid-friendly, and more!
Once the survey is complete, you'll be taken to a queue with all of the meals that PlateJoy has picked out for you. From here you'll select which ones you want to add to your menu for that week, and you can also permanently remove any that you definitely do not want to try.
I chose to receive two breakfasts, three lunches, and three dinners. Since I live alone and am only cooking for one, these options also include leftovers for the next day. This is an option you can choose to have or not have.
Here are some of my lunch options. Everything looks so good, and the photography is beautiful! You can also choose to remove any meals that you know for a fact you do not want to try.
Here are some of my dinner options. I like that the recipes include different types of cuisines, like the Thai beef pictured above. I'm not very creative when it comes to cooking, so having all of these great recipes readily available is a lifesaver for me!
My favorite category to choose from was the Snacks and Dessert page! PlateJoy had a good variety of savory and sweet snacks to choose from.
Another nice feature is the Pantry selection. Scroll through the extensive list and choose what you do and do not currently have in your pantry, and PlateJoy will take this into account when creating our shopping list for the meals.
Here's a partial look at what my shopping list was for the meals I chose. I really like that this is so in-depth: instead of just saying "Apples," they also state that Fuji apples are recommended and provide other options in case those aren't available.
Bottom Line: I'm really excited to try all of my PlateJoy meals for the month! I have to admit that I am not always the healthiest eater, but all of these recipes look so good and are better for me than reaching for fast food. I do enjoy cooking and PlateJoy has given me everything I need to get back on track.
