July RamenPak Review and Coupon

Ramen has become pretty popular as more than just a broke college student food and I love it because it really is a great soup. RamenPak is a new subscription that sends ramen from all around the world!

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

RamenPak sends six delicious packs of ramen every month for $25. New flavors and brands are sent each month from Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, and more! Shipping is free worldwide.

The box was much bigger than I was expecting, width-wise at least. It's a shorter box with a longer length and each ramen pack was lied flat in the box. It also came with a pair of metal chopsticks. I don't own any metal chopsticks so these were nice to have (I only have wooden ones).

Right away I noticed that all of the packages were bright and were (mostly) from brands I hadn't heard of before. I think everyone has had the standard brands you can find at stores like WalMart during college, so getting different international brands is a fun treat.

The RamenPak website says each box will have six packs, but mine had five packs of ramen and one pack of seaweed snacks. I love seaweed snacks so I didn't mind, but I'm not sure if everyone's box will have five instead of six for this month.

There was no info card included so I'm not sure exactly what the brands and flavors are here, so I'll describe them going clockwise from top left:
  • Jin Ramen Spicy: This was my favorite of the bunch! I call this "Asian spicy," aka spicier than your average "spicy" food. It had a spicy sweet flavor, which is my absolute favorite, and was really delicious.
  • Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen: I haven't tried this one yet but I'm hopeful that it will be nice and hot. Chicken flavor ramen is my preferred flavor. I can tell this one is Korean because I recognize the hangul, but I don't actually read the language so I can't tell you what it says.
  • Nomgshim Black Ramen: I ate this one first because Nongshim is the one brand I've had before. You can't really tell from the photo above, but they have these cute little characters on their packaging. This one also had great spicy flavor.
  • Mi Goreng: These are an Indonesian noodle and were eaten without broth. There were packets of chili paste, soy sauce, and another flavored sauce inside plus onion crunchies and the flavor powder. They tasted so good and I wished that the serving size was bigger.
  • My Kuali Penang White Curry Noodle: I haven't tried this one yet either but it sounds great. I've never had White Curry before.
  • Gourmet 555 Seaweed: Seaweed snacks! If you've never had them and think they sound weird I highly suggest you give them a try anyway. If you like sushi you'll like seaweed snacks. They're just dried pieces of seaweed with some flavoring added and are really good.
Bottom Line: $25 per box may seem expensive for ramen, but this isn't your standard ramen. Assuming future boxes will have six packs, that comes out to about $4 per pack, which I think is fair considering the flavors are different and are from international brands. Plus there was a nice set of chopsticks in the box, too. If you're a ramen enthusiast like me then you should definitely give this box a try!

July Odd Sox The Sox Box Review

The Sox Box from Odd Sox is a socks subscription for people who like their socks weird. They offer a customizable box with lots of different brand collaborations!

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

The Sox Box sends socks with exclusive collaborations from brands like Cartoon Network, Spongebob Squarepants, Pepsi, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and more. Here are their price options:
  • One Pair: $10 per month
  • Two Pairs: $20 per month
  • Four Pairs: $30 per month
  • 10 Pairs: $75 per month
Shipping is free on all subscription lengths and you can cancel any time. Based on their check out page, it looks like they currently only ship to the U.S. and Canada.

When you sign up for The Sox Box you'll fill out a short questionnaire that will allow you to customize your box. You can choose male/female, a minimum of two and maximum of three interests (cartoons, food, patriotic, animals, festive, outdoors, colorful, celebs, retro, party, money, art, sneakerhead, music, sports, professional), and style (athletic, fun, fashionable, trendy, odd, pro/casual), type of socks (knitted, printed, or both).

I received a box of two crew style socks. I think the brands/styles are pretty gender neutral so I'm not sure if this was specifically a male or female box.

The box itself is colorful and ships inside of a black outer box. The socks were packaged neatly inside.

These socks are quite long and the material is a bit strange, to be honest. I expected a mostly cotton feel but these are both 95% polyester and 5% spandex. They fit very snugly and didn't feel very breathable due to the polyester blend. Given the designs, though, it's not like you'd be wearing these to the office or anything for a long period of time.

As you can see from the photo, I received Spongebob Squarepants and Super Bubble brand socks. The designs are definitely bright, colorful, and odd!

Here's a better look at the Spongebob socks. The Super Bubble had a repeating pattern, but these have all different illustrations throughout.

The box also had an Odd leopard print sticker and a Nickelodeon is Odd sticker inside.
Bottom Line: The Sox Box from Odd Sox definitely delivered on their promise to send odd socks! I think the designs are a lot of fun. I wish the material on the ones I received were a mostly cotton blend instead of polyester, but I suppose it's easier to print a bright design on polyester. That being said, this box has tons of customizable options so I think it's a great idea at a great price.

July Keep It Simple Socks Review and Coupon

I like socks. I know that's a strange thing to say, but there's something so fun and simple about a good, soft pair of socks. Keep It Simple Socks does just that: they send high quality men's socks for a really affordable price!

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Keep It Simple Socks will help you diversify your "sockfolio" by sending stylish socks each month! Here are their pricing options:
  • One Pair for $10 per month
  • Two Pairs for $15 per month
  • Three Pairs for $20 per month + free sunglasses
Shipping is free for all subscription lengths. Based on their checkout page, it looks like they currently only ship to the U.S. and APO/FPO boxes.

This is a review for the three pair box. They shipped in a small-ish box that was sturdy and well-packaged. The design, as the name suggests, was simple and clean. The box shipped from Columbus, Ohio and got to me in New York two days later, so the shipping is pretty quick.

For a limited time, the three pair box will also come with a pair of the exclusive Keep It Simple Socks clubmaster sunglasses. The clubmaster is one style of shades that I didn't currently have, so it was nice to get a high quality pair for the summer!

The socks themselves are made from a blend of 80% cotton, 17% polyester, and 3% elastane and come in sizes 7-13. They're super soft and were very comfortable. As you can see, the designs are bright and fashionable!

Even though the socks are geared towards men I think this subscription could be great for us ladies, too. Like I said, I like having a nice pair of cozy socks. I wear taller socks like this especially in the winter because my feet are always cold!

I really like the clubmaster sunglasses, too! They came in a nice drawstring protective bag. There was also a little Keep It Simple Socks sticker.
Bottom Line: Keep It Simple Socks is a great sock subscription! I think their prices are very affordable and the product is great quality. If you're looking to expand your sock collection, look no further than this box!

July Harrison Blake Apparel Review and Coupon

Harrison Blake Apparel is an affordable and stylish men's fashion subscription. They send a great package of coordinated accessories each month, which is perfect for the guy who wants to look good but doesn't want to shop!

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Harrison Blake Apparel costs $25 per month for a necktie and four coordinated accessories. Every package I've gotten has included a pocket square. They also have a bowtie subscription for $16 per month. Shipping is free to the U.S. for both options.

The July set featured a yellow tie with a floral pattern and a camouflage pocket square with pinks, grays, and dark blues. This isn't the most matching set I've ever seen, but you could use them together or with different outfits for sure.

There were also four accessories aside from the pocket square. The accessories are the best part to me because Harrison Blake Apparel does a great job of sending interesting items. These were more fashion-related, but in the past they've also sent home goods and things like that.

The July pack had an anchor bracelet, a tie clip, a keychain made of a rubber/silicone type material, and yellow knotted cufflinks. Like I said, the theme is a little lost on me this month but individually these accessories are all high quality. I especially like the anchor bracelet.
  • Visit Harrison Blake Apparel to subscribe
    • Use coupon code SEASON for $15 off your first  set
  • Connect with them on FacebookTwitterInstagram, and YouTube
Bottom Line: Harrison Blake Apparel is a great subscription for anyone who wants to up their accessory game! Their products are high quality and always interesting.

How To Find Too Faced Coupons Using Dealspotr

I like to consider myself a savvy shopper and I never shop online without first looking for a promo or coupon code. But, as I’m sure most of you know, finding a valid coupon code can be challenging. It’s really kind of hit or miss whether you’re able to locate one that is not expired or fake!

*Disclaimer: This post is sponsored by Dealspotr.

It can be especially difficult to find coupons for higher end brands like Too Faced. Luckily, Dealspotr is here to help cut down on the frustration of searching for coupons and promos! They make it easy to find working, legitimate coupons that can be used for major brands like Too Faced.

My favorite thing to buy from Too Faced is their eyeshadow palettes.

The Chocolate Bar palette is one of my all-time faves, and it retails for $49.

After adding the palette to my shopping cart, $5 shipping is applied, bringing the total to $54. That may be a little pricey for some for one palette. I also see that “Have a Promo Code?” box taunting me below the Order Total!

There are a lot of coupon sites out there, one being Offers.com. I did a search for “Too Faced” on their site and came up with the following:

There weren’t a ton of coupons overall and I didn’t see any single-use ones for a certain percentage or dollar amount off.

I then head to the Dealspotr website and wet to their Too Faced page to see if there were any single-use coupons available.

The search brought up some great sales, as well as the following single-use coupon that had a high probability of working:

This is a site-wide coupon so it can be used on anything. Dealspotr also includes easy instructions on how to use the coupon:

So I copied the coupon and pasted it into the Promo Code bar on the Too Faced site and it worked! I now have 20% off of my order.

I was able to find a working single-use, site-wide coupon for Too Faced on the Dealspotr website in a matter of minutes. I love how easy it is to use the Dealspotr site, and how quickly you can find verified coupons that really work. They also list lots of great deals and sales going on for a ton of popular brands!

So be sure to bookmark the Dealspotr website and make it your go-to for coupon and promo code hunting! You’ll also get a bonus 2,000 points if you sign up as a member. Members can subscribe to Too Faced deal updates as they come and earn points for sharing deals to help other shoppers save. I’ve been a member of the Dealspotr community for a few months now and it’s always fun to post deals and share them with other shopaholics!
