Luster Power White Toothpaste Review

When considering beauty, makeup and skincare are usually the first products that come to mind. But a bright, white smile is an important aspect of feeling confident in your appearance, too. The Luster Power White Toothpaste is a great toothpaste that removes stains and whitens teeth!

The Power White Deep Stain Eraser toothpaste is a fluoride toothpaste that removes up to 95% of surface stains in as little as five days. It has 2% stabilized hydrogen peroxide for whiter teeth, which is twice the amount of the leading brand of whitening toothpaste. It whitens safely above and below the tooth's surface. The toothpaste was developed by dentists and causes zero tooth sensitivity and is enamel-safe. It's also free from sulfates.

I have sensitive teeth so I usually stay away from whitening products, but I can say with confidence that this toothpaste did not irritate my teeth at all. It has a slightly minty flavor and left my mouth feeling clean and refreshed. I have minor coffee stains on my teeth, but I do feel that after two weeks of use this has removed some of them, especially around the gumline.

You may not be able to see that much of a difference in my teeth based on the before and after photos, but I suppose that's because I didn't have very severe staining to begin with. Regardless, I have really enjoyed this toothpaste and I think it is working to make my teeth look whiter and brighter.

Bottom Line: I enjoy the Luster Power White Toothpaste quite a bit! It leaves my teeth feeling clean and helps create a whiter, brighter smile. I'm excited to keep using it and see how different my teeth look after a month's time.

Kneipp Stress Relieving Bath Products Review

I love to take a bath to relax, especially in the colder months. There's nothing quite like a nice warm tub with lots of bubbles, and maybe some candles, too! The new Kneipp aromatherapy bath products are a great way to enhance your relaxing bath.

Kneipp has a big line of bath and body products. I tried the Eucalyptus Aromatherapy Bubble Bath and Relaxing Lavender Bath Oil. If you're unsure about aromatherapy, let me say that it really works for me. I love relaxing scents like eucalyptus and lavender; they do wonders to soothe and calm my mind. I like to take baths/showers at night, so using products like these help make for a restful sleep.

The Eucalyptus Aromatherapy Bubble Bath can help soothe cold symptoms like congestion, stuffy nose, and sore throat. The natural essential oils of eucalyptus and mint work together to provide a calming effect as well. Eucalyptus has antifungal powers to ward off germs and sickness and an also relieve chest and nasal congestion. Peppermint oil relieves tension headaches and sore muscles and can provide relief from sinus congestion. It also rids skin of inflammation with cooling effects. The bubble bath is vegan and contains enough for eight baths per the instructions, but I think you can make it last longer depending on how much you use. The instructions say a capful per bath, but I used half a cap and it was more than enough to create lots of bubbles. It also has a deep blue/green hue that turns your bathwater the same color.

If you're not a fan of bubbles, the Relaxing Lavender Bath Oil is a great option for a soothing bath. The oil is also vegan and made with essential oil of lavender to produce a gentle, balancing effect on the mind and body. Lavender is my favorite scent to use in aromatherapy because I find it to be so relaxing and soothing! I like to breathe some in before going to bed, so using this bath oil makes for a wonderful experience before bedtime.

The oil has the same deep blue hue as the bubble bath and it makes your bathwater look vibrant and beautiful. I like that it changes the water color, as it adds another interesting dimension to the experience.

Bottom Line: Kneipp products are an affordable way to treat yourself to a relaxing bath at the end of the day! Or, if you're more of a morning person, they have plenty of pick-me-up aromatherapy scents like Passionfruit and Grapefruit, too. I loved using the Eucalyptus Aromatherapy Bubble Bath and Relaxing Lavender Bath Oil!

November Degustabox Review and Coupon

Degustabox is one of my favorite boxes; they always send a great assortment of full-sized foods and snacks! The November box was full of items perfect for the holiday season.

I love this box because it's such a great deal. You'll get a bunch of food for way cheaper than if you bought each item individually at the grocery store, and I've been introduced to a lot of great new brands and foods through it!

Note: There are two box variations this month, and as a review partner I received all of the item options. Your box will contain either the Aneto Natural Chicken Broth or the Arteasan tea.

• Goya Soft Taco Tortillas ($1.99) - This pack has eight flour tortillas inside. I used them for carnitas tacos and they were perfect!
• Aneto Natural Chicken Broth ($6.99) - This broth is so good! I used half of it for chicken in the crockpot and the other half for soup. It's richly flavored and free from preservatives, additives, GMOs, trans-fats, nuts, gluten, dairy, and soy. Aneto selects the highest quality chicken and vegetables and simmers them on low heat for over three hours to create this broth.
• Country Archer Jerky Co ($5.99 for 2.75 oz bag) - I'm not a huge jerky fan, but even I thought this was really good. It's made with 100% cage-free turkey breast with no antibiotics or added hormones. It had a strong, smokey and peppery flavor.

• Bauducco Mini Panettone ($2.75) - Panettone is a traditional holiday cake made with Sun-Maid raisins in a process that takes 52 hours. I haven't tried this yet, but it was an interesting addition to the box, as I hadn't heard of panettone before.
• Cafe Bustelo Cafe con Leche Instant Coffee ($2.99) - As far as instant coffees go, these are pretty good. Each individual stick has espresso-style coffee, sweetener, and non-dairy creamer. It was a little creamy with a good coffee flavor.
• Walkers Shortbread Pure Butter Shortbread Scottie Dogs ($4.49) - I love butter shortbread so much and I'm always really happy when Walkers shows up in Degustabox! The little Scottie dog shapes made them even better.

• The Lovely Candy Company Sea Salt Caramels ($2.50) - These are non-GMO, gluten-free, kosher certified, and have no high fructose corn syrup or artificial ingredients. Boxes contain one of three flavors, and I'm glad I got sea salt because salty sweet is one of my favorite flavor combos.
• Bell's Seasoning ($2.99) - William G. Bell started America's oldest seasoning and spice brand back in 1867 and it's been a staple for Thanksgiving cooking ever since. This salt-free blend is made with all natural premium spices.
• Rufus Teague Free Sample - This is an extra sample of the Touch O' Heat Kansas City barbecue sauce. This is the perfect size for one piece of chicken (or whatever protein you choose to use it with).
• Oreo Chocolate Candy Bar ($1.79) - You can't get much better than Oreos and chocolate. This bar is European Milka milk chocolate with a creamy Oreo stuffing. Absolutely delicious!

• Arteasan Tea ($2.50) - If this is in your box (see note above), you'll receive one of five flavors. I got the Peach Rosemary Yerba Mate tea and it was full of flavor. These teas are made with less than one gram of sugar and sumptuous fruits and unexpected botanicals.
• Goya Pico de Gallo Mild Salsa ($2.19) - This pico was delicious. It's a mild salsa with tomatoes, onions, tomato paste, jalapeno peppers, and coriander.

Bottom Line: I loved trying all of the great foods in the November Degustabox! There was a good mix of savory, salty, and sweet foods. I especially liked the Oreo candy bar and Walkers Shortbread!

SCOUTbox Review

SCOUTbox is a new subscription that's the only one out there made specifically for scouts, by scouts. Don't have a scouting history? Neither do I, but don't worry, I think this box is still great for anyone interested in outdoor adventuring and preparedness!

SCOUTbox was founded by Will and Chris, two brothers who are Eagle Scouts from Troop #888 in Enfield, Connecticut who have been involved in scouting their entire lives. Christ started as a Tiger Cub and moved up the ranks to Boy Scouts, Eagle Scouts, and then became the president of the Xi Zeta Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega, a scouting-affiliated community service fraternity. Will also started in Cub Scouts and served as Senior Patrol Leader and other leadership positions with Troop #888. Both have also attended National Scout Jamboree events and continue to work as active alumni!

The goal of SCOUTbox is to provide quality gear and educational materials to enhance scouting for all subscribers (boys, girls, and adults from a variety of scouting programs). Boxes include gear, accessories, apparel, educational items, snacks, and games.

There are three subscription lengths and pricing options:

I was not involved with any scouting as a kid or teen, but I have friends and family who were/are very active with scouting. I have quite an interest in wilderness survival techniques and preparation, so SCOUTbox is still right up my alley.

I received the September box to review, which contained five full-sized items. September was National Preparedness Month, so SCOUTbox sent items essential for every scout's emergency kit.

• Waterproof Disaster Survival Guide - This guide unfolds accordion-style and is packed with information. It covers everything from natural disasters (hurricanes, tornadoes, etc) to what types of things you should have in your stock in case of an emergency. It's a really handy guide and while I hope I never have to use any of the information in it, it's definitely full of useful tips.
• Nitelze Reflective Cord - A reflective utility cord is a unique essential that can be used for lashings, to identify yourself and your items, or a variety of other uses. The cord is 50 feet long, so there are plenty of options! Cord is a pretty basic item, but I feel like it's one of those things you never realize you need until you need it (and don't have it), if that makes sense.

• Adventure First Aid Kit 1.0 - I am such a nerd for this kind of thing. I like to have a First Aid kit handy at all times. It's obviously easier to have aid items available while I'm home in my apartment, but this kit is great for on-the-go. I think I'll store it in the trunk of my car just in case of any emergencies. It's packed with everything from bandages to moleskin, wound care items, and basic over-the-counter pain medication. There are even some small survival tools inside.
• No-Rinse Bathing Wipes - I've kept wipes like this in my gym bag for when I don't have time to shower after working out, but they're obviously a great item to have if you're out camping or, worst case, in the middle of a natural disaster.
• Waterproof Matches - Being able to start a fire is well-known as one of the most important skills to have when outdoors, and these waterproof matches ensure that you'll always be able to get one going when you need to because they work when both wet and dry.

This is only one side of the First Aid Kit -- the center package has After Bite for bug bites and some other medication, and the flap underneath has even more items!

Bottom Line: I'm very impressed by SCOUTbox! Even though I'm not an active scout and don't have a scouting background I found every item in this box to be incredibly useful. This is a great box for scouts of all ages, hikers, campers, or anyone who wants to stay ready and prepared for any situation.
