FaceTory Leaf Drops, Twilight Velvet Mask, and Sheet Mask Review and Coupon

One of my favorite ways to treat myself is to buy new skincare, but it can be expensive! Luckily with FaceTory I don't have to sacrifice quality for affordable pricing. I've been using their products for a while now and have a few new favorites to share!

*Disclaimer: These products were sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review. Post contains affiliate links.

FaceTory has clean, affordable skincare products that are cruelty-free and researched and envisioned in California and formulated in South Korea. Their products have no sulfates, parabens, fragrance, synthetic colors, or EDTA (a chemical compound that can cause negative side effects).

They have a subscription service that I've reviewed here and a shop full of one-time purchase skincare for every skin type and need.

I love sheet masks and use one almost every night. They're great for protecting and maintaining your skin's moisture barrier, regardless of your skincare needs. These three make up a set geared towards oily and acne-prone skin, which is the skin type I have. They can be purchase as singles and in sets of five and 10.

The Light My Night Illuminating Mask brightens, hydrates, and balances skin. It helps fight hyperpigmentation and balance skin's oil production. It has Yuja extract, which helps even complexion and brighten skin. It can also help minimize the look of post-acne marks and boost collagen production. The mask itself is made with graphene material and is black in color and helps the serum penetrate deep into skin.

The Oh, My Heart Calming Mask calms, refines, and hydrates skin. It has Heartleaf extract, which is rich in antioxidants to help calm redness and irritation while protecting the moisture barrier. The mask also helps smooth the appearance of pores and rough skin. It's made with a soft microfiber material that feels smooth and silky on your skin.

The I Pinky Promise Rejuvenating Mask brightens, balances, and calms skin. It is formulated to help improve dullness and hyperpigmentation, balance oil production, and provide proper hydration. The Beetroot extract it contains is packed with Vitamin C to brighten and strengthen skin while preventing premature lines and wrinkles. This one is made with a soft microfiber material that's baby pink in color.

I also love sleep masks, which are basically thick creams that you put on (and leave on) before going to bed. The Twilight Velvet Renewing Sleeping Mask with LHA/PHA is made with LHA, PHA, and AHA, as the name states, which are all hydroxy acids that provide chemical exfoliation. This mask gently exfoliates overnight while providing hydration and refining large pores and texture. The texture is soft and creamy and it absorbed quickly into my skin. My skin was so soft the next morning! I'm excited to keep using this to see how well it balances and refines my oily skin.

A good serum is key to any skincare routine. The Leaf Drops Clarity Serum is a hybrid product of essence and oil for oily, combination, and acne-prone skin. It has Hemp Seed Oil to give an extra boost of hydration and balance sebum production. The serum also soothes redness and irritation and helps clarify blemishes, and reduces fine lines and wrinkles.

The serum is more like an essence-style to me, as it's not very thick/viscous. A few drops spread easily into the skin and absorb quickly. I like that it feels light on my skin.

Bottom Line: I love FaceTory's products and these new ones are a great addition to my skincare routine. These products are targeted towards oily skin because that's the issue I deal with the most, but they have a variety of products for every skin type. Be sure to check them out, I'm sure you'll find some new favorites, too!

October FaceTory 7 Lux Review and Coupon

If you're as addicted to Korean skincare as I am, Facetory 7 Lux is the perfect subscription for you. This month's shipment had masks focusing on hydration and soothing.

*Disclaimer: This box was purchased by See, Shop, Love! Post contains affiliate links.

FaceTory has two subscription options; this is a review of the 7 Lux package. It comes with seven sheet masks plus one extra skincare item for $19.99 per month. Considering individual sheet masks can cost anywhere from $1 to $10+ each, depending on the brand, I think this is a great deal and an easy way for me to keep my stash full.

I use a sheet mask every night. If you've never used them, they're a great way to keep skin looking its best and they come in a bunch of different ingredient mixtures to target specific skincare needs. This month's package focused more on hydrating and balancing the skin.

  • Yadah Daily Green Mask Cica ($3): Cica is one of my favorite ingredients for all skin types. It's also known as centenella asiatica and it's great for calming irritated skin and soothing redness, as well as fighting acne.
  • It's Skin The Fresh Mask Sheet Bamboo ($3): It's Skin is a great brand so I was happy to see this mask in the package. It's made with bamboo and has an essence that helps lock in moisture and regenerate skin.
  • Purenskin Avocado Mask ($2): Avocado is wonderful for soothing dry, irritated skin. It helps nourish flaky skin and is loaded with fatty acids, vitamins, and nutrients that keep skin hydrated.

  • Babyface Skin Reboot Peel Mask ($8): This mask is a little different than standard masks, as it's only meant to be worn for one minute instead of the usual 10 to 20. It has three acids to help gently exfoliate skin: AHA, BHA, and PHA. All three work together to provide a hydrating and gentle chemical exfoliation.
  • Blingpop Skin Gel Collagen Mask ($3): Hydrogel masks are another great treat for dry skin. This one has hydrolyzed collagen to keep skin feeling hydrated and plump and grapefruit extract, which is rich in natural moisturizing ingredients Vitamin A, E, and C.
  • FaceTory Ace that Face Collagen Sheet Mask ($3.50): This is one of FaceTory's own masks with a new formulation. It contains hydrolyzed collagen and Ganoderma Lucidum mushroom extract to firm and even out skin.
  • Elishacoy Hydra Mushroom Mask Sheet ($3): The essence in this mask contains Sparassis Crispa extract, a superfood with anti-aging properties, that also helps hydrate skin and prevent acne. It also has trehalose, which is an antioxidant and skin moisturizer.

The extra skincare item this month is the Yadah Green Tea Pure Cleansing Balm II ($8), which I was also excited to receive. I double cleanse with a cleansing balm before my regular cleanser and this one is perfect for travel. It's certified vegan and has a soft texture that melts into skin to remove makeup and excess dirt and oil from skin. The key ingredient of green tea powder is a well-known antioxidant that controls excess sebum and reduces inflammation.

The total retail value for the October FaceTory 7 Lux box is $33.50, exceeding the $19.99 cost.

Bottom Line: This month's FaceTory 7 Lux had a great selection of hydrating masks! These will be great for the incoming cold, dry winter weather.

FaceTory 7 Lux September Review and Coupon

I'm Korean-American and obsessed with Korean sheet masks! I do one almost every night and I decided to subscribe to FaceTory 7 Lux to save money, since I buy tons of masks individually anyway.

*Disclaimer: This box was purchased by See, Shop, Love! Post contains affiliate links.

Facetory has two subscription options, both of which send Korean sheet masks each month. I'm obsessed with skincare and I purchase sheet masks regularly, so this subscription appealed to me because it was easier to get Korean masks all from one place instead of having to shop around at various websites for them.

This is a review for the 7 Lux subscription, which costs $19.90 per month for seven masks and 1-2 bonus items. The other option is the Lux Plus, which is $49.95 per season for 5-6 skincare products and 5-6 masks. Both options have free shipping to U.S. addresses.

Facetory sends a good assortment of masks for all skincare types. At $19.95 per month, that's about $2.85 per mask, which is an excellent deal. Most sheet masks will cost at least $3-$5 individually, some even upwards of $10.

The masks ship in a padded mailer and come with an insert explaining all of the masks.

I love being able to try masks from Korean brands I've never tried before! I live in a smaller city, and while I can get masks from some of the more popular brands, it's harder to find other ones from Korea unless I order them online. Getting them all in this package is exciting!

The JM Solution Active Bird's Nest Moisture Mask Prime is a hydrating mask with bird's nest extract. This ingredient is prized in traditional medicine and helps improve skin clarity by boosting moisture retention.

The Meditime Jeju Deumppook Turmeric Mask is great for healing breakouts. It's vegan and eco-friendly due to eucalyptus mask fibers. Turmeric is great for the skin, as it has antioxidants and anti-inflammatory components. I used this one the other day and it felt so refreshing, but there was a ton of serum in it so it dripped a little.

The MedB 1 Day Honey Mask Pack is a moisturizing mask with honey extract, which has anti-inflammatory properties to keep skin nourished and glowing. It can help soothe acne and brighten skin.

The extra item for this month was the FaceTory Spot Fighter AM Patch. I love patches like these for when I break out and other ones I've tried have worked pretty well. They have tea tree oil, tea tree extract, and centella asiatica to fight acne and prevent further scarring and irritation.

The Glowiest Youthful Glow Mangosteen and Peachy Glow Hydrating Masks are a duo with brightening and nourishing properties. The Mangosteen mask has antibacterial properties and soothes inflammation. The Peachy Glow mask has antioxidants and provides the "glassy skin" look so popular in Korea right now.

The Petitfee Agave Cooling Hydrogel Face Mask is a cooling hydrogel infused with agave and blueberry to nourish and calm skin. It comes in two pieces (one that goes on your forehead/nose and one on the chin) like most hydrogel masks and is great for hydration.

I was most excited to receive the Dr. Jart Dermask Ultra Jet Porecting Solution Mask! Dr. Jart masks are great quality and retail for $9-$12 individually. This one is a bubble mask with activated charcoal to deep clean and purify pores. They're really fun to use, too, since the bubbles come up after you apply the mask and the serum oxygenates.

Bottom Line: I'm so happy with my first FaceTory 7 Lux pack! I love sheet masks and this subscription really delivers. If you're a fan of skincare and Korean sheet masks, it's a great deal.
