Memebox Superbox 80 - Pumpkin Pie Cosmetics Review

I purchased Memebox Superbox #80 back in October, and it's also the last one I've purchased since then.  I love the smell of pumpkin pie, and pumpkin itself is also a great ingredient in skincare products.  Since the name of the box was "Pumpkin Pie Cosmetics," I was curious to see if they'd include more skincare or color products.

This box cost $23 plus shipping, and I'm pretty sure I used Memepoints to pay for most of it.  Since Memeboxes ship so late after you initially pay for them, I don't always remember what they actually cost me.  Either way, $23 is a good price for a Superbox, which contains only full-sized items.

There were five items total, but I forgot that I hadn't taken pictures of the box yet and I swapped one of the items away.  Oops!  I didn't really love this box overall.  There was really only one product that had anything to do with pumpkin which was disappointing because I was looking forward to a lot of pumpkin-scented products.  The other products aren't bad, they just don't fit the theme to me.

• Dearberry Coco's Secret Recipe Pumpkin ($16 for 100 mL) - I love the packaging on this, it's so cute!  It's a pumpkin wash-off pack made from real pumpkin extracts, but it doesn't smell like pumpkin or pumpkin pie to me.  It just smells like "clean," which I know isn't very descriptive, but that tells me that it was artificially scented after the fact because "real pumpkin extracts" don't smell like cotton.  I'm still probably going to give this a try, and I'm glad to have it simply because of the cute packaging (I know, I'm weird like that).

• Tonymoly Gold Black Sugar Mask ($7 for 100 mL) - Tonymoly is a really popular brand so I generally trust the efficacy of their products.  This is an exfoliator made with black sugar, gold, and honey extracts.  What's interesting to me is that it's a mask, not a standard face scrub, so you put it on your skin for 10-15 minutes then rinse it off.

• Enesti Shea Butter Hand Cream in Lemon & Verbena ($5 for 50 g) - I can always use more hand creams, and this one has a nice, silky formula.  It also smells really good.  It has a blend of lemon and verbena extracts that gently soothe the skin.  My only complaint is that it doesn't squeeze out of the tube very easily, you really have to bunch up the packaging to get any product out.

• Enesti Day to Day Rice & Milk Foam Cleansing ($14 for 160 g) - I posted this for swap as well because I already have a ton of cleansers to use.  This is made with milk protein and rice extracts to cleanse away makeup and skin impurities.

The box also came with an Insobeau Multi Complex V-Line Repair Sleeping Mask ($42 for 80 mL), the highest valued item in the box.  I've never used a sleeping mask before and I don't like the idea of them, so I swapped it.  My skin is oily and sensitive, so I don't think that applying a mask that's geared towards dry skin overnight would be of much help to me.

Bottom Line: This was not my favorite Memebox.  I felt that the name was a misnomer, considering it only contained one pumpkin item and no cosmetics.  The total retail value was $84, but the Insobeau item made up half of the value.  I probably won't be buying any more Memeboxes for a while because I have noticed that their curation has been slipping.

Memebox Superbox #55 Free From Oil & Trouble #4 Review

I've been wanting to try one of Memebox's "Free From Oil and Trouble" boxes since my skin is crazy oily, but I never actually bought one for whatever reason.  I was really excited when I found out that they were sending me Free From Oil & Trouble #4 to review, because I was hoping to (finally) find some products that would help manage my skin concerns!

This box is a Superbox, meaning that it contains all full-sized products.  It's now sold out, but it cost $32.  Given that this is their fourth in the series, I'm sure a Free From Oil & Trouble #5 is in the works.  This one has six products total, all of which target oily skin concerns but address them in different ways (I always like good variety in a box).

• Lindsay Linzy Egg Pack ($12 for 60g) - These soaps smell so good!  The packaging is really cute, too.  The white egg is made from real egg whites and witch hazel complex and works to cleanse skin of impurities and clogged pores.  The brown egg is made with red clay and NMF complex and it tightens enlarged pores for a smoother complexion.
• Pro You Aroma AC Cream ($54 for 60g) - This is made with Pro You's special "Multi EX Magnotics" formula, which consists of green tea, grapefruit, machilia, and thujopsis dolabrata extracts to tighten pores and control the sebum level of skin.  Now, I know that there's no way to permanently shrink pores, but I am interested to see if this is able to balance out my skin's sebum production.  I haven't been using it long enough to really know, but I'm hopeful!
• Benenet Herb & Bee AC Control Serum ($38 for 60 mL) - This contains bee venom!  When I read that it definitely weirded me out, but apparently it's a well-known skincare ingredient.  It's proven effective in protecting, repairing, and hydrating the skin.  The serum also has herbal extracts from grapefruit, citron, eucalyptus leaf, sophora root, and clove flower to maintain a healthy skin balance.  I've never been stung by a bee before (knock on wood), so I don't know how my skin will react to it.  I'm going to test a small amount of this on my hand before applying it to my face.

• ideeB Goodbye Oil Pact ($12 for 12g) - I love this compact!  At first I was doubtful of its efficacy (similar products have not worked well for me in the past), but I have been proven wrong.  It's a translucent powder that you apply sparingly to keep shiny skin at bay and so far it's worked great for me.  It actually leaves my skin feeling nice and matte, and the effects are long-lasting.  It smells great, too!
• insobeau Acnic Blemish Spot Solution ($20 for 15 mL) - You can't tell in the photo above, but once this solution settles, the pink powder drifts to the bottom and a clear liquid sits on top.  It's a targeted treatment for acne, and you're supposed to let it settle so that the ingredients stay separated.  Luckily for testing purposes (but not so much for my face and appearance), I have a nice blemish on my forehead at the moment, so I'll let you know how well this works to diminish it.
• The Skin House Dr. Clear Magic Toner ($25 for 130 mL) - I love toner sprays.  I keep one at my desk at work and have a few here at home to use as skin refreshers throughout the day.  This one smells lovely and is enriched with tea tree extracts to soothe and control excess oil and blemishes.  You're supposed to spray it on the skin during the first stage of your skincare routine, but as I said, I like to spritz a little on throughout the day as well.

Bottom Line: This may very well be the best Memebox I've ever received, since it was so relevant to my skincare needs.  It has an overall retail value of $161, so it was well worth the $32 price tag.  If you have oily skin like me and Memebox releases a Free From Oil & Troubles #5 Superbox, I highly recommend snatching one up!

Memebox Superbox #59 Halloween Special Review

Halloween is over, but the Memebox Superbox #59 Halloween Special is still a fun box for me to share!  I think that the products inside could easily be used for another costume party or even just for dramatic looks for say, something like New Year's Eve.

Memebox offers two types of boxes: standard Memeboxes and Superboxes.  This one is a superbox, which means it contains all full-sized products.  Superboxes are usually somewhere in the $30 range, while Memeboxes are usually in the $20 range (there are of course, exceptions).  Both boxes are great options, and I've received a lot of full-sized items from standard boxes, too!

The Halloween Special box is packed with products to help you achieve a spooky makeup look (seven full-sized products total).  The colors are pretty extreme, so I can't say that I personally would use most of these products in my daily life, but I know there are people out there who are a lot more creative with makeup than I am, so I won't say they can't be used for something other than Halloween at all.

• Elizavecca Lip Tattoo ($14) - Elizavecca is a brand I've really been wanting to try because a lot of their products have adorable piggies on them.  Alas, this is not one of those products.  This lip tattoo promises to last for eight hours without any smudges.  It's a dark burgundy color and is supposed to be waterproof.  I'm really curious about how this feels on your lips, I have a feeling it isn't the most comfortable thing.
• LALANC Real Tattoo ($5) - This was randomly selected from #4 or #6, and I got the #4 set that contains crosses and crowns.  These could definitely be worn for occasions other than Halloween.  These are waterproof as well.
• REVECEN Eye Lash ($6) - This set of false eyelashes is the one product I think would be most appropriate for wear on a regular day.  Maybe.  I got the #6 set (randomly selected from 4, 5 or 6) and they're pretty long.  I think they're appropriate for the weekend, though!

• REVECEN Liquid Lipstick in Blood ($16) - This is supposed to look like blood, but I haven't tried it so I can't say how true that is.  Memebox suggests using it to create bloody lip makeup or fake scars.
• REVECEN Face Control Foundation ($22) - This unique Face Control Foundation works to cover up imperfections and control dull, yellow skin.  But since this box is geared towards Halloween, it's pure white and can serve as a base for any other makeup you wear with your costume.  I'm thinking a clown face?
• REVECEN Cake Eye Liner in Black ($8) - This could definitely be used any day, since it's a basic black eyeliner.  It's a pressed powder formula that can be mixed with water to create a gel-like application.
• REVECEN Supra Lining Color in 007 Purple ($30) - This is a real face and body paint that's apparently quite popular in Korea.  You're supposed to add water, but you don't need very much for it to apply properly.

Bottom Line: I received this box after Halloween so I apologize that the review isn't more relevant, but regardless I think this is a fun box and provides lots of options for creating costume makeup looks!

Memebox Superbox #49 All About Lips Review

I don't remember the last time I purchased a new lip gloss or lipstick, but somehow I always have about five billion of them at any one time.  I think that is probably because I love them, which is why the Memebox Superbox 49: All About Lips is such a perfect box for me!

Memebox (pronounced "mi-mi-box") sells the best in Korean beauty, and while they have a shop stocked with individual products, they also have tons of Memeboxes and Superboxes to choose from.  They're not a subscription service; each box is a one-time purchase and is usually centered around a theme.  Superboxes are different from regular Memeboxes because they contain all full-sized products.

The All About Lips Superbox is exactly what it sounds like, it contains six lip products, from balms to lipsticks!  Four out of the five brands featured are new to me, so I was excited to try them.  I was also hoping for at least one coral-colored lipgloss since they have evaded my thus far, and I kind of got what I was wishing for.

Here's what was inside:

• ROYAL NATURE Paint Mousse Lip Lacquer ($24 for 5 mL) - I received the shade "XO.Baby," which is a nude color.  I think it's too light for my skin tone and would just look wrong, which is kind of a bummer because I was the most excited to try this one.  It was randomly selected from five colors, and any of the other four would have been so much better!  Anyway, it glides on with a silky finish while leaving matte color.
• RiRe Tick Tock Lip Gloss ($18 for 3.5g) - When I read the name of this it reminded me of my cheerleading days back in high school.  Not surprisingly, the name has nothing to do with the stunt move, but instead is called "tick tock" because the cap contains a button you click to make the brush come out.  I got the color "Blossom Pink," and it is incredibly pigmented.  Even though this is labeled a gloss, I would definitely consider it more of a lip lacquer.
• Cheek Room Lip Tint ($10 for 8 mL) - *Sigh,* Cheek Room.  If you read a lot of Memebox reviews, you've probably come across at least one blogger who was less-than-in-love with this brand.  If you haven't yet, well--now you can consider me one of those bloggers.  First off, Cheek Room's packaging is horrendous.  I can look past that, though, if the product is great.  They're not the worst lip products I've ever tried, but they certainly are nothing special.  This tint, in the shade "02 Orange," supposedly stays on the lips for 2-3 hours.  I can say with certainty that this is not true.  It's a thin gloss with not a ton of color and it definitely comes off as easily as any other gloss.
• Cheek Room Color Lips ($10 for 4 g) - I like this Cheek Room lipstick a lot better than the tint.  I got the shade "03 Red," and it's a very nice lipstick.  It is red with gold flecks and the color isn't too in-your-face.
• Very Six 6 Seconds Kissing Lip Gloss ($17 for 10 mL) - This gloss will "perfectly aint your lips with the most natural and healthy-looking color radiance in just a single touch."  You're supposed to apply it, then wait six seconds for it to bring out the best color from your lips.  I was doubtful, but this does actually bring out a bit of color!
• Shara Shara Petit Friend Tint Balm ($8 for 20 g) - Everyone got the same shade, "OR01 Crown Orange."  I think the packaging for this is adorable!  The inside has a crown shape (see photo below), which contains the pink tint portion, and the outer portion is a nourishing balm.

I think the inside of the Shara Shara lip balm looks like a frog's foot imprint.

Bottom Line: This Superbox has a retail value of $87, which is great considering the box sold for only $23 (it is now sold out, but there are plenty of other boxes to choose from).  Obviously if you're not a fan of lip products this box wouldn't appeal to you, but I think they had a good variety of items that would please any lipgloss fanatic!

Memebox "Time On My Lip" Review & Launch Info!

Memebox partnered with cult Korean beauty brand RE:CIPE to create this stain, and I love how versatile it is.  One layer is perfect for a daytime look or for work, but when you want a bigger pop of color you can build it up to be as vibrant as you like!  The Awesome Pink shade looks really bright on the applicator, but it's quite flattering on my lips.  It's nice and long-lasting, and the formula feels like a stain on my lips.  It's a little bit drying, so if you aren't used to using stains I would recommend layering a clear gloss over this.

Above is how one layer of the Awesome Pink Time On My Lip looks on my lips!  As you can see it's a nice flush of color.

Memebox Special #39 Cafe Box Review and Coupon

I got my Memebox Cafe Box in the mail a few days ago and it's one of the best ones yet!  I purchased it a while ago, sometime over the summer, and honestly had forgotten about it until I got a shipment notice.  Memeboxes are usually shipped months after they originally go on sale, so it's easy to forget.  It made for a nice surprise when it showed up, though!

This box cost $23, but I think I got it for free or nearly for free due to meme points.  I love coffee, so when I saw this box I knew I had to snatch it up.  Here's the description from the Memebox website:

Wake up and smell the coffee has just taken on a whole new meaning! We’ve rounded up freshly brewed beauty goods that will remind you of your favorite indulgent drinks from your go-to coffee joint. I was hoping for lots of coffee- and sweet-scented products, and the box didn't disappoint.

This box had six products total, all of which were full-sized!  Normally Memeboxes have at least a few full-sized products, but the Superboxes are the ones that have all full-sized items.  Even if I had spent the full $23 on this, it would have been well worth the price.

• Pure Smile Herb Essence Mask ($1) - This was randomly selected from the Herb Mask Sheet or the Green Tea Mask Sheet, and I got the Herb one.  I actually posted it up for swap because I don't use sheet masks as much, but this one has lavender extracts, hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, and collagen to relieve and moisturize skin.
• Holika Holika Dessert Time Lip Balm ($6) - I know that Holika Holika is a pretty popular brand in Korea, so I was excited to try this.  I got the Peach Cupcake flavor/scent and it smells so good!  I haven't used the actual lip balm yet, but I love the packaging.
• Binu Cook Ice Cream Scoop Cacao Body Soap ($3) - I could smell this as soon as I opened the box, but I didn't realize it was the soap I was smelling.  To be honest, it kind of looks like a turd to me, but it definitely doesn't smell like one.  It has the most delicious chocolate scent and it's a handmade soap that will "cleanse away excess oil, sebum, and dead skin cells."

• Vella Fresh Creamy Soap ($13) - Memebox announced this as a spoiler and I was intrigued; it's a creamy facial cleanser that's supposed to create lots of tiny bubbles.  I'm not sure I like it, though, since I don't quite "get" it.  The instructions say to lather the soap between your palms and then "Without getting your palms to touch the skin, gently massage the creamy bubbles onto your face."  What?  So...how do I get the bubbles onto my face, then?  Also, it really doesn't lather up at all.  I had high hopes for this, but I'm disappointed with it.
• Tonymoly Latte Art Cappuccino Cream-In Scrub ($13) - Tonymoly is another really popular brand that I had never tried before, and this scrub has the cutest packaging!  It's a pretty typical scrub, just apply to the face and massage in for exfoliation.  It actually doesn't have a ton of scrubbing beads, but I noticed that as I massaged it into my skin it left a really nice warming sensation, so that probably is a means of exfoliation as well.
• Cleomee Anti-Wrinkle Donkey Lotion ($83) - I have a really hard time believing that one bottle of this costs $83, but that's what the info card says.  It's also the product I feel fits the theme the least, but I'm guessing the fact that it's made with donkey milk is why they included it (coffee, milk, creamer, etc.).  Aside from donkey milk, it also contains hyaluronic acid, ceramide, glycerin, vitamin E, and EGF complex.  I ran out of body lotion recently, so this came at a good time and is a good replacement.

Bottom Line: The Cafe Box had a total retail value of $119, but if you take out the supposed price of the lotion it would only be $36.  That's still a higher value than what the box cost, so I think it's a good deal.  I'm very happy with this box and I really like the products, so I'm glad I was able to get it!

Memebox Special #17 K-Style Review and Coupon

Whether you're a new reader to my blog or an older follower, I'm sure you have heard of Memebox (pronounced "mi-mi-box").  They're constantly coming out with new boxes that boast the best in Korean beauty, and since each box is a one-time purchase (not a subscription), you don't ever have to worry about recurring charges.

• Shara Shara Feminine Single Blusher ($7) - I love the packaging of this blush, it's so cute!  I never use powder puff applicators, but the bow on this one is still just too adorable.  I really like the shade of this blush, too.  It was randomly selected from "CR01 Soft Coral" and "OR01 Warm Apricot," and I got Soft Coral.  I think Warm Apricot would have been nice as well, but this one will compliment my skintone nicely.
• Bbia Pigment ($5 for 1.8 g) - I received the shade "02 Sour," which is a nice rose gold/bronze color.  It's a loose pigment that almost looks like glitter, but when you actually open it up and look inside you can see that it's more the texture of a loose eyeshadow.
• A'PIEU Full of Nature Mascara ($3 for 4.3 g) - This mascara contains a setting wax formula that works to lengthen lashes.  It contains various grain, berry, and flower extracts to help maintain healthy lashes, too.

• Secret Key Sweet Glam Tint Glow ($24 for 3.5 g) - The informational card calls this "Secret Key," but on the packaging it says "Secret Kiss," so I'm not really sure what the actual brand name is (but I would lean more towards it probably being Secret Kiss).  The shade name isn't listed in English on the packaging, but the choices were "01 Baby Pink," "02 Juicy Orange," and "03 Fuschia Purple," so from that I can guess that I got Juicy Orange.  Normally an orange lip color would scare me, but this one is really buildable so it is less intimidating.
• awesome Aqua Radiance CC Cream ($29 for 30 mL) - I've gotten a few CC and BB creams from Memebox and I really want to find one that works for me, but unfortunately I'll have to add this one to the pile of ones that don't.  I'm Korean but am also way more tan than the average Korean woman, so these are often too light for my skin.  Regardless, this one balances skin tone, treats fine lines and wrinkles, and maintains moisture balance.

• RiRe Luxe Auto Gel Eyeliner ($14 each) - The two shades are "Champagne" and "Choco Brown" (swatches later on in the post).  I usually use black eyeliner, but I like getting different colors because they're fun to experiment with.  The Choco Brown is nice because it's a bit less dramatic for work, and the Champagne is nice and light so it works well on the inner corners and waterline.  Unfortunately both of these were slightly damaged upon receipt (photo below), but I was able to just pop them back into place.

The liner part of the RiRe Luxe Auto Gel Liners got stuck in the cap, but I was able to remove it and slide it back down into where it's supposed to be.  Both of these are quite waterproof and glide on smoothly.

• with shan Baby Hand Set ($9 for 15 mL) - I received the Lemon Treatment Oil, which is infused with lemon juice and vitamin E.  You soak the nail file (the purple one in the photo above) in the oil and also place a drop on your nails, and then you can use the file to buff away callouses.  I was excited to try this because I hate the mini-callouses that form around my nails, but I don't think I soaked the nail file for long enough because it just ended up hurting my skin.
• with shan Dr. Care Set ($13 for 15 mL) - This is an "emergency kit" for split and/or broken nails, which is not something I really have a need for.  My nails have always been ridiculously strong (I have to use a toe nail clipper to trim them), but this would be great for someone with softer nails.  You are supposed to apply it every two days for a full week, and it can be used as a basecoat.

• BARBINIE Shea Butter Hand Cream ($18 for 50 mL) - This is my favorite product in the box because I love all things moisturizer!  The scent I received was White Lily, and while I normally don't like florals, this one is light enough that it doesn't bother me.  The cream is very silky and absorbs quickly into the skin.
• Shara Shara Soft Hand Gommage ($6 for 50 mL) - A gommage is an exfoliating gel that you apply to the skin and massage in.  It then starts to ball up on the skin, lifting away dead skin cells with it.  This is a gentle peel, and I think it's almost too gentle, because I didn't really notice much peeling when I used it.

• PURE SKIN Hand Care Pack ($4 for 15g) - This is a hand mask that contains grape and grapefruit extracts, witch hazel, collagen, and boabab tree and olive leaf extracts.  It deeply moisturizes dry hands and also removes excess skin impurities.  I haven't used it yet, but you're supposed to leave it on for 20-30 minutes while it works its magic.
• PURE PLUS Hydrogel Moisturizing Nail Patch ($8 for 10 patches) - I was interested in trying these because they are a different design than the Kocostar 5 Finger Pack I got in my Memebox Global #14, so I thought I might like them better.  They're little gel patches that you apply on top of your nail, so they did allow me to use my iPad while I was waiting to remove them (the Kocostar's didn't), but I didn't care for the effects.  My cuticles actually felt more dry after I used them.

• SUR 3D Nail Art Kit ($29) - This kit comes with a magnetic nail polish (mine is silver), a magnet, and a nail art pen.  I'm a bit confused by the instructions, because normally you paint on the polish then use the magnet to create designs, but this one is saying to use the polish then draw designs on with the nail art pen.  I think that the polish itself is not magnetic, but the nail art pen is?  I haven't tried this yet, but maybe I'll do a separate review for it when I do.

Bottom Line: If you like boxes that are catered around a specific theme then you'll really enjoy Memebox Specials.  I thought this one was a lot of fun and contained great products for healthy hands and nails!

Memebox Global #14 Review

I ordered this Memebox Global #14 so long ago that when it arrived I had totally forgotten that I even purchased it!  This is actually the first Memebox I ever purchased, but usually they ship a month or so after they're initially listed on the site for sale (sometimes longer), so that's why it had slipped my mind.

I chose Memebox Global #14 because at the time the reviews I'd seen for their Global boxes were better than the themed boxes (it just seemed like the products in the Global boxes were more relevant to my needs and preferences).  Since then Memebox has come out with plenty of themed boxes that I loved, but the Global boxes are still fun because the items inside are a total surprise.  This box is no longer available, but it had a price tag of $23.  You can view current Memeboxes at their shop.

• Recipe by Nature Golden Time Vita Capsule Essence ($42 for 40 mL) - This is a full-sized "vitamin essence" that I think is essentially a facial serum.  It is "packed full of vitamin capsules that will deliver deep nourishment and nutrition to your skin," according to the description on the box's informational card.  It works to balance oil levels, brighten the skin, and even out rough textures.  When I first used it I only used a drop or two, but even that felt too heavy on my skin, so I found that this should be used very sparingly.

• Shower Mate Perfume de Whip Body Wash ($4 for 50 mL each) - When I first saw these they reminded me of something you might find at the dollar store, due to their packaging.  I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, though, so I'm willing to give them a try.  I thought I would like the "Pure White Blossom" scent better than the "Marilyn Red Fantasy," but I actually found the opposite to be true.  The other option was "Romantic Pink Garden," which I (obviously) did not receive.  I'll probably save these for travel since I already am pretty stocked up on body wash.
• VOV Good-Bye Black Smudge Waterproof Mascara ($19 for 9 g) - Mascara is another thing I have tons of, so I put this up for swap.  This was randomly selected from three products (Lash Proof Mascara, Volume Proof Mascara, or Button Liner), and I received the Lash Proof formula.  I may have kept it if I received the Volume Proof, but the Lash Proof has a straight, thin brush and I prefer mascaras with more voluminous brushes.

• a;t fox Fantasy Holic Lip & Cheek Designer Pencil ($7) - This was randomly selected from shades Sweet Orange, Lovely Coral, and Rose Beige.  I received Sweet Orange; I would have preferred Lovely Coral but this orange is more on the pink/coral side so I'm still willing to give it a try.  I like that it can be used on the lips or cheeks.
• Sua Young Mineral Essence In Liquid Foundation SPF33 PA+++5g (~$5.65) - A full-sized bottle of this retails for $34, but the sample size contains more than enough to get a good feel for how well this product works.  I really wanted to like it because it offers more coverage than a BB cream while still being lightweight, but the color was too light for my skin.  It's free from parabens, alcohol, artificial fragrance and contains only organic ingredients.
• Beauty People Miss 100 Super Waterproof Gel Liner Auto Pencil ($38) - I find it hard to believe that this liner retails for $38, but that's what the info card says!  I received the "Glimmer Bronze" shade, and I actually already have a set of these pencils with that color from the My Cute Wishlist Superbox, so I posted this for swap as well.  I do love these pencils though, they glide on smoothly and have great pigmentation.

• Kocostar 4 Package Set ($20) - This set contained four products total: the Ggongji Hair Pack, Face Spot Mirror Patch, 5 Finger Nail Pack, and Foot Peeling Pack.  The Hair Pack is a mask that you need to tie your hair into a ponytail for, and since my hair isn't quite long enough yet I'll be saving it to try later.  If you want to use the Face Spot Mirror Patch, choose a day where you aren't going anywhere because you have to leave it on for at least eight hours (or, I suppose you could wear it while you sleep).  The 5 Finger Nail Pack is for your cuticles, and the Foot Peeling Pack is pretty self-explanatory.  I'm most interested in the foot and nails packs, but they both require more than 10 minutes of application time so I haven't used them yet.

• Sally's Box 4SET ($14) - This set contained four paper face masks: the Love Recipe Apple Mask, Delight Ceramide Hydrogel Mask, Delight Collagen Hydrogel Mask, and the Delight Panthenol Hydrogel Mask.  I used the Apple Mask right away because I love all things apple, but I was disappointed to see that one of the first ingredients was alcohol (this is one of the few items from Memebox I've received where the ingredients were also listed in English).  As we all know, alcohol is incredibly drying for the skin, so now I'm wary of using the other three because I don't want to put harsh ingredients on my skin for that long.

Bottom Line: I was so impressed by this box; I couldn't believe how many products it contained for only $23!  A lot of them were full-sized, too.  I hope that Memebox releases more Global boxes in the future because I love their variety and would definitely purchase more.

Memebox My Cute Wishlist Superbox Review

Memebox has become well-known for their myriad of one-time purchase boxes, and Superbox #41 My Cute Wishlist may be their most sought-after box yet!  It sold out quickly after it launched and I can easily see why.  If you're a fan of Korean beauty and culture, then you're probably also a fan of cute things, which makes this box the perfect mix of both!

Memebox (pronounced "mi-mi-box") is not a subscription service -- each box is a one-time purchase and is only available until it's sold out.  They're constantly releasing new ones, though, so even if you miss out on one there's sure to be another that will suit your fancy on the way.  They send the best in Korean beauty, including skincare and cosmetics.

My Cute Wishlist is a Superbox, meaning that all of the items are full-sized.  Just like the name suggests, this one is full of only the most adorable products!  Superboxes generally cost around $29-$32, but the prices do vary.  You can view the current available Superboxes at the Memebox shop (there are also standard Memeboxes to choose from for a lower cost).  This box is sold out, but I bet if you took a gander at the current ones you'd find something to tickle your fancy!

• Kocostar Split End Therapy ($6 for 8mL) - This hair mask contains eight types of amino acids that work to prevent breakage and static.  You apply it by putting your hair in a ponytail and then sliding your hair into the wrap, so I'm not so sure how well I'll be able to use this with my shoulder-length hair.  My hair grows quickly, though, so I might just save it for when it's a bit longer.
• Etude Missing U Hand Cream ($5 for 30 mL) - This is my favorite item in the box because it is just so damn cute!  Each box was randomly given either the Pink Dolphin, Half Seal, Fairy Penguin, or Panda and I'm really glad I got the penguin because I think it's the cutest one.  The scent is my least favorite (cotton), but I just love the container so much that it doesn't matter!  The lotion itself is silky in texture and absorbs quickly.
• Beauty People Snow White Special Edition Season 2 ($54) - Inside of the tin are five neutral-toned eyeliners, my favorite kind of colors for eye makeup (glimmer black, glimmer brown, glimmer bronze, glimmer gold, glimmer beige).  I've been playing around with them and I think they're fantastic--they apply nice and smoothly and have great pigmentation.

• Pure Smile Neco Punch Point Pad Hibiscus & Lemon Grass ($2 each for 17 mL) - I'm glad that Memebox includes an informational card with all of the products and how to use them, because these had me stumped.  I know "neco" means cat, but that was about all I could puzzle out about these on my own.  Turns out, they're enriched with vitamin E, collagen, hyaluronic acid, arbutin, and hibiscus and lemongrass extracts to moisturize and control excess sebum.  You just place a pad over any trouble areas you have on your skin for five to ten minutes and let them do their thing.
• a;t fox Moisturizing Gel Creams ($6 each for 10 mL) - From left to right in the photo above, these are the Jasoyup Tea Whitening Capsule Cream, Gyoolpy Tea Water Gel Cream, and Black Tea Lifting Cream.  The cupcake contains are beyond adorable, and the creams inside all target specific concerns (hence, their names).  I've used the Black Tea Lifting Cream and Gyoolpy Tea Water Gel Cream so far and I like them a lot.  I also like saying the word "gyoolpy."

• Pure Smile Muddy Girl ($1 for 15g) - I could have gotten either the red clay or charcoal mask, and I received the red clay version.  I would have preferred charcoal, but clay is also great for oily skin like mine.  This is just a standard face mask packet.
• Etude Sweet Recipe Candy Stick ($5 for 2g) - I received the scent/flavor "Oh! Orange Candy;" the other options were Seedless Strawberry and Sour Lemon.  It's a lip balm that's enriched with bilberry, sugar cane, sugar maple, and orange and lemon extracts.  It moisturizes well and doesn't feel waxy on my lips, which is one of my biggest pet peeves with certain lip balms.

Bottom Line: The My Cute Wishlist Superbox had a total value of $93, with the Beauty People eyeliners pulling most of the weight on that total.  The overall retail value isn't as important to me though as the fact that this box 100% delivered on its promise to be loaded with cute items!
