November Nicely Noted Review

It's the holiday season, and for a lot of people that means it's time to send out Christmas cards.  I know I usually only send cards around this time, but I think it's important to send handwritten communication all year round.  There's something special about getting a real card in the mail, and Nicely Noted makes that fun and easy to do!

For only $20 a month, Nicely Noted will send you three gorgeous letterpress cards for all different occasions.  Your package will also include three stamps.  I'm always impressed by how beautiful the cards are, and they're lightyears better than any generic ones you'll find at the store.

November's collection is aptly titled "Thanks," and it has cards from Thimblepress, Odd Daughter, and Hammerpress.  Letterpress cards are so pretty, and these designs are unique and colorful!

"Pic-A-Nic" is by Hammerpress from Kansas City, Missouri.  It's about 3x5" and blank on the inside, so it's great for those times when you need an all-purpose card.  I love the blue colors; the design overall reminds me of icicles and is apropos for the winter.

The "Many Thanks" card is by Odd Daughter from San Diego, California.  It's simple and cute, and also blank on the inside.  I like that most of the cards from Nicely Noted are blank on the inside, I prefer being able to write my own message without having to worry about a corny saying on the inside.

My favorite card of the bunch is "Owls Well" by Thimblepress from Jackson, Mississippi because I love owls.  The text is somewhat specific, but I think you could use this as a thank you or a congratulatory card (or even just to say hi).

Bottom Line: November's Nicely Noted package was another wonderfully curated collection.  I loved all three designs and can't wait to send them to my friends and family!

Nicely Noted August Review

I reviewed Nicely Noted back in February, and to my delight I received another package of cards this month!  They send a set of three letterpress cards to your door on a monthly basis for only $20.  This also includes matching envelopes and three stamps, so you have everything you need to send someone a beautiful, handwritten note.

The theme for August was "Shine," an aptly-titled collection to reflect the last days of summer.  In this electronic age, I think it's important to remember that handwritten communication is still a great way to stay in touch; it's so much more personal than a text message.  I love that Nicely Noted sends out such gorgeous cards, all of which are curated to match the month's theme.  They also come in little slipcovers so you can keep them in pristine shape until you decide to send them.

This month's cards were Thanks a Million by Hammerpress of Kansas City, Missouri; Shine Bright by Bench Pressed of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Waves by Hable Construction in Brooklyn, New York.  I love how vibrant they all are!  I also liked that they're all blank on the inside, so you can write exactly what you want to say.  I've always made my own cards for birthdays and other occasions because I've found that looking for the right card at the store is too frustrating--they all have cheesy, mass-produced messages on the inside.

Bottom Line: Make someone's day brighter by sending them a card from Nicely Noted!  I haven't met a single person who didn't love getting mail, and Nicely Noted makes it easy to have a card ready for any occasion.

February Nicely Noted Review

Nicely Noted is a subscription service that sends gorgeous letterpress cards to you each month.  I was so excited to learn that they had chosen me to review their February set, because I've seen reviews on other blogs and the cards were always lovely.

Perry Nelson, the founder of Nicely Noted, created the service to express her love of writing and receiving letters.  I can definitely relate--there's nothing quite like receiving a handwritten note in the mail!  Each package contains three cards, with postage, and will cost you $20 a month.  These aren't your standard drugstore cards; they really are beautiful works of art from different artists each month.  Nicely Noted ships internationally, too: the service is available in the U.S., Canada, European Union, Australia and Singapore.

I loved the cards in the February set!  The quality is fantastic and I feel like I could frame them all instead of sending them out!  The cards included were:

I think my favorite card was the "Get Well Soon" because I gravitate towards cute animals, and the bear drawing is adorable.  All three of these are great cards, though, and I can't wait to share them with my friends and family.

Bottom Line: Nicely Noted is a fantastic service and a great deal.  I like to have cards on hand for any situation, so this makes it so convenient to do so, plus the quality can't be beat.
