DINO BARS Review - Organic All-Natural Fruit Bars for Kids

When I heard about DINO BARS I knew I wanted to share them with my niece and nephew! My brother and sister-in-law like to give the kids healthier treats, so I figured these would be a great fit for them.

DINO BARS are made with all-natural, organic, and healthy ingredients. They have no artificial flavors, preservatives, or refined sugar. They are nut free as well, except for coconut oil, which is not technically a tree nut or a major food allergen (even though it is classified as such by the FDA). All of the bars are certified USDA organic.

I knew that the bright packaging and cute dinosaurs would be a hit with the kids regardless. The bars come in four flavors: Mango Pear Banana, Blueberry Pear Banana, Strawberry Pear Banana, and Sweet Potato Raspberry.

As you can see, the ingredient list is minimal with plenty of certified organic items. Lots of fruits with low calories and fat and an appropriate carbohydrate count for a fruit-based food.

 
The one thing I wasn't sure about was the edible wrapping. I didn't mind it, but I'm an adult. I wasn't sure if the kids would find it strange or not.

The edible paper wrapped around each DINO BAR is made with potato starch, water, and olive oil. It's tasteless and is a unique way to keep your child's (or yours!) hands clean while eating the bar. It's such an ingenious addition to a great product!

Turns out, the edible paper wasn't a problem at all. Both my niece (one year old) and nephew (three years old) dug right into the bars without even noticing the paper. They both loved the Mango flavor the best! I didn't take any photos of them to respect their privacy, but I promise these bars got a great review. Both said they were very yummy!

I used the masks for two weeks as instructed, and leftover masks can be used on a weekly basis to keep teeth looking bright. To be completely honest, I didn't notice a huge change in my teeth, but I also didn't have a ton of staining to begin with.

What I like best about these teeth whitening masks is the packaging. Although the outer packet still needs to be discarded (not much you can do to help that), I like that there is less waste with the strip itself. All you have to do is wet your teeth with your tongue and then apply. The mask adheres to your teeth and then melts away. I left these on for 20 minutes and rinsed with water and brushed away excess mask, just like I would with other strips.

The Anti-Aging Night Cream has 0.05 percent Tretinoin cream and the instructions say to apply a pea-sized amount at night. Tretinoin helps turn over skin cells and boost collagen production, niacinamide is a hydrating skin brightener that also shrinks pores, and hyaluronic acid reduces visibility of fine lines and wrinkles and helps skin retain moisture.

The tretinoin cream provides similar results to retinol cream; however, this particular cream does not have retinol in it. I haven't had great results with retinol, it's a bit too harsh on my skin, but the tretinoin hasn't caused any of the standard "purge" period that retinol sometimes does. This cream is the best cream for wrinkles!

I like to wear baseball hats when I'm outside, especially in the summer, to keep my hair out of my face. But it gets annoying in the heat and humidity when the brim around my forehead gets all sweaty -- luckily, the NoSweat Hat Liners help fix that!

NoSweat makes hat liners for different styles of hats (baseball, cowboy, etc), visors, and helmets. I'm reviewing the baseball cap style.

These liners are easy to apply and help absorb excess sweat while wearing a hat. It's the perfect solution to the one thing that annoys me most about wearing a baseball hat. I can't stand that sticky, sweaty feeling of the top part rubbing against my forehead, plus it leads to acne outbreaks for me.

These are disposable and easy to use. Just peel off the backing and stick the adhesive side onto your hat. I did find that it was a little hard to get it to stick completely to the interior of my baseball hat, but while wearing the hat it didn't budge.

I attached a liner to my favorite hat and wore it to the beach on a sunny day. I can say it absolutely helped keep down sweat! It absorbed most of the sweat along my forehead and felt way more comfortable to wear the hat with than without. These are such a simple, effective solution!

CaniBrands Cani-Sleep CBD Review and Coupon

The Cani-Sleep line is made with melatonin to target three key sleep phases: relaxing before sleep, falling asleep, and staying asleep. I have clinical anxiety and sometimes have trouble falling asleep so I've been interested to try CBD to see if it helps me relax enough to fall and stay asleep.

The Cani-Sleep CBD Oil is made with melatonin, organic Valerian root, organic hops, passionflower and skullcap, and MCT oil. It contains 1500 mg of CBD per bottle for 50 mg per dose, and 30 mg of melatonin per bottle for 1 mg per dose. It has broad-spectrum hemp extract (CBD, CBG, CBDV, CBDA) and a natural mint flavor.

The oil is a high dose option and is for people who want the most potency from their CBD oil. It has a measured dropper, and the instructions say to take one full dropper (about 20 drops) about 30 minutes before you go to sleep. It can be taken directly or added to liquid (tea, etc). 

I started with just one drop because I have never taken CBD before and wanted to start out slow. Also, to be honest, the flavor is not great, so I only took a drop or two in the beginning. The carrier oil is coconut oil, so it's decently thick. To take the oil, I put the drops under my tongue and held them there for about 30 seconds, then swallowed the oil.

I will say, even just one drop helped me a lot. I have taken melatonin before, and the CBD plus melatonin in the Cani-Sleep oil truly helped me fall easily to sleep and stay asleep. I actually felt a bit drowsy in the morning, so only take this when you can commit to a full eight hours of sleep to avoid grogginess the next day. The best I can explain the feeling is that I could sense my mind slowly relaxing and falling into sleep.

I also tried the Cani-Sleep Oral Spray, which is great for travel. It has the same broad-spectrum hemp extract and mint flavor with 250 mg of CBD per bottle/8 mg per dose and 30 mg of melatonin per bottle/1 mg per dose. I found that this had a less offensive flavor and was easier for me to take. I used two sprays and was also able to fall asleep and stay asleep with this lower-dose option.
