May Shades Club Review and Coupon

I'm always so excited to get my monthly Shades Club package! Their designs are fun and high quality and it's a great surprise to open them up each month.

*Disclaimer: This box was purchased by See, Shop, Love! at a discounted rate in exchange for an honest review.

Shades Club has men's and women's subscriptions with free shipping and free returns (within 30 days) on every order. Each month you'll receive a pair of unique sunglasses with a microfiber carrying case that doubles as a cleaning cloth.

Here are the pricing options:
  • Monthly: $29 per month
  • Four Months: $112 every four months/$28 per month (one month free)
  • Six Months: $162 every six months/$27 per month (1.5 months free)
  • Yearly: $288 every 12 months/$24 per month (two months free)
You can also purchase past shades on the Shades Club website for $75 per pair.

Shades Club manufactures their products in the same factories as some of the higher end brands and every pair I've gotten has been excellent quality. To be completely honest, I wear my Jetsetter Aviators way more than the Ray-Bans I purchased for a lot more money! The Shades Club aviators are much sturdier.

The May Shades are named "Day-Trippers" and came in a muted pink shade. I love the shape and the thick frame, but pink isn't my first choice of color. I'll still wear these though and I think the color is fun for summer. I usually buy dark blue or black shades, so it's probably a good thing for me to throw in a little unexpected color here and there.

You can see from the photo above that the "Shades" name and logo is printed on the left arm and is also etched into the left lens (top right corner of the lens).

I also like how Shades Club adds the name of the design and other fun text on the inside of the arms. It just adds an extra touch of detail.
Bottom Line: I'm pretty much obsessed with Shades Club at this point! I love getting new, fun designs each month and I'm always excited to see what new sunnies I'll have to add to my collection.

Mama June's Southern Treats Review: Box 3

If you like southern cooking, Mama June's Southern Treats is the perfect subscription for you! It's a quarterly box that sends the best of southern cuisine.

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Mama June's Southern Treats features the best in southern hospitality from reality TV star June Shannon (Honey Boo Boo's mom). Every three months you'll get a box of June's favorite southern cooking!

The box features full-sized items, including snacks and ingredients with associated recipe cards. You'll also receive a fun kitchen item, like an apron, utensil, or other non-food item.

The box ships quarterly (once every three months) and costs $34.95 or $119 annually with free shipping to the U.S. The boxes do ship internationally as well with a $15 flat rate shipping fee.

This quarter's box had seven items, with three non-food treats. Here's what was inside:
  • Pork Clouds Fried Pork Rinds - These weren't on the info card, but they're Garlic Thyme flavored pork rinds. I've never had pork rinds before; I know what they are, just have never tried them.
  • Slap Ya Mama Cajun Seasoning - This seasoning adds a punch of flavor to anything you're cooking and is made in Louisiana.
  • Man Made Seafood Boil Soap - This soap is lemongrass scented and is strong enough to wash away strong smells from cooking crawfish, shrimp, etc.
  • Star Cookie Cutout - This also wasn't on the info card, but is a cute extra item.

  • Mama June's Hushpuppies Mix - This mix is made with Georgia-grown, organic, non-GMO white cornmeal and 100 percent soft red whole wheat flour. I've never made hushpuppies on my own before, so this mix will be a nice treat!
  • Sweet Cream Butter Grits Cookies - These cookies were so good! I love butter cookies and these had a great buttery flavor with Georgia grits mixed in.
  •  Kiss the Cook Apron - This apron is nice and thick and has a colorful design on the front.
Bottom Line: The third box from Mama June's Southern Treats had more delicious surprises! I especially enjoyed the butter cookies and hushpuppies mix.

May Daily Goodie Box Review

I've received quite a few boxes from Daily Goodie Box and they are always packed with fun products, but the May box was my most favorite yet!

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Daily Goodie Box isn't a typical subscription service. They don't send out monthly boxes for purchase, but instead send out completely free boxes to certain members each month. It really is entirely free and you'll never be asked for any kind of payment information.

You can create an account on their website to try to get a box, and increase your chances by interacting with them on social media (links at the end of this post). All you have to do in return is leave a few sentences of feedback on the products on your account page.

What I like best about Daily Goodie Box is that they send deluxe samples (and even full-sizes, sometimes) from new brands in a variety of different product types. Here's what was inside the May box:
  • Prince and Spring Organic Applesauce - I know these are made for kids, but I actually like taking them myself for an on-the-go snack or breakfast! This applesauce is Non-GMO verified, USDA organic, and has no added sugar.
  • KÖE Organic Kombucha - I recently started drinking kombucha and I'm kind of obsessed with it now. For those unfamiliar, it's fermented tea. This one was Raspberry Lemon flavored and had juicy fruit flavor with no vinegar-y aftertaste like some kombuchas I've tried.
  • Michele's Granola Original - This is their snack sized bag and in the Original flavor, which has sweet coconut, sunflower seeds, sliced almonds, and a touch of pure Madagascar vanilla.
  •  Cusa Tea Variety Tea Pack - This has 10 individual tea services, two each of English Breakfast, Mango Green, Lemon Black, and Chai and one each of Oolong and Green. I like having instant teas on hand, especially when I travel.
  • Pure Aura Cosmic Shimmer Hologram Foil Mask - Another thing I'm obsessed with is sheet masks! The whole hologram/foil trend is fun but they don't really do anything for your skin, they just look cool. The foil itself, I mean. This one has activated charcoal and other ingredients to help soften and moisturize your skin.
  •  Kika's Treats Salted Crunchy Caramels - These were so yummy! They're dark chocolate covered caramels with crunchy rice inside and a touch of salt on the top.
  • Goddess Garden SPF 30 Facial Sunscreen - This is the perfect addition to the box, given that the sun's finally coming out again. This has SPF 30 and is made with dermatologist-tested organic ingredients.
  • PiperWai Activated Charcoal Deodorant - I haven't yet found a natural deodorant that works well with my skin, but I'm always willing to try new ones. This one is free from aluminum and has activated charcoal to help draw out impurities. I like that it's made for sensitive skin, since my main issue with other natural deos is that they've left me with an underarm rash.

Bottom Line: Every product in the May Daily Goodie Box was a hit for me! It was the perfect mix of beauty and lifestyle items. I especially loved the Kika's Treats caramels and the Pure Aura mask.

May Gramma in a Box Review and Coupon

Time to celebrate spring with Gramma in a Box! The May box featured crafts with a "Cookies and Candy" theme.

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Gramma in a Box is a great subscription to share with your loved ones! It was created by owner Terr when her grandchildren moved away and she wanted a way to share sweet treats with a touch of home with them. She decided to open it up as a subscription so that everyone could treat themselves to delicious candy and cookie treats!

Here are the pricing options:
  • Monthly: $20 per month
  • Three Months: $55 every three months (save $5)
  • Six Months: $110 every six months (save $10)
  • 12 Months: $220 every 12 months (save $20)
Shipping is free to the U.S. and taxes are included. If you want to cancel, do so by the 25th of the month.

Each box comes with everything you'll need for three projects, except for basics like a bowl and spoon for mixing ingredients. There are enough supplies to create 15 or so individual treats.

The first project was Pretzel Butterflies. The projects are always so creative! I love how Terry comes up with unique and adorable treats from simple, every day ingredients. This project included melting chocolate to use as a glue for two pretzels, then licorice and sprinkles to add the butterfly body and decoration.

The second project was my favorite because of how colorful it was! The Butterfly Bark used the remaining melted chocolate, which was combined with crisped rice cereal and topped with a mixture of beautiful sprinkles, marshmallows, and candies.

The third project is always cookies, and this month's box was Spring Cookie Decorating. The cookies were shaped like butterflies and flowers of different sizes and had colorful sprinkles and icing with which to decorate. The cookies are pre-baked, so it's advised that you complete the crafts within one week of receiving the box in order to keep them fresh.

Decorating the cookies is always a lot of fun, but not as fun as eating them! They're delicious sugar/butter cookies and I look forward to receiving them each month.
Bottom Line: The May Gramma in a Box was a lot of fun, as always. I especially liked the Butterfly Bark treat and my family enjoyed sharing all of the snacks!
