Renaissance Bath and Body Review

The Renaissance Bath and Body monthly soap subscription is a lovely box that sends handmade bath and body products to your door! The products are inspired by amazing Renaissance women and are perfect for treating your self to some "me" time.

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

The Renaissance Bath and Body soap box costs $34.99 per month with free shipping (you can also choose faster shipping methods for an additional charge). The exact scents will vary from month to month, but each box will contain curated, handcrafted products including:
  • 2 bars of soap
  • 1 Body Scrub or Body Butter
  • 1 Bath Bomb or Bubble Bar
  • 1 Skin Care Product
  • 1 Sample Item

The box is beautifully packaged and all of the products were neatly placed inside with recyclable paper shredding to protect everything during shipping. The first thing I noticed was how lovely everything smelled!

There was an info card on the top of the package with the names of each item and their corresponding photo. I wish there was a little bit more information regarding what exactly the scents were, but at least it provided the names of the products so I could look them up on the Renaissance Bath and Body website.

As promised, the box contained five total products and one sample sized item. Here's what was inside:
  • Royal Invigoration Homemade Body Scrub ($12): This exact scrub isn't on the website, so I linked to a similar one. It has a creamy texture, thanks to bath whip and avocado oil, and is scented with peppermint oil. It was slightly foaming and felt wonderful as a hand scrub, but it can be used all over!
  • Maid of Orleans: I also couldn't find this on the site, but that's okay. It's a hand/body cream inspired by Joan of Arc and it smells divine! The texture is so creamy and rich and it absorbs quickly into my skin. The scent is light and sweet, like frosting.
  • River Goddess Soap ($7): This soap is inspired by Jacquetta of Luxembourg (also known as the Countess Rivers) and is scented with lemongrass and clary sage. It's a cold process soap made with therapeutic-grade essential oils. The scent is really soothing.
  • Royal Enchantress Soap ($7) - This soap is inspired by Anne Boleyn and is scented with lavender, peppermint, and spearmint essential oils. The top is decorated with rosemary, which is a natural exfoliant.
  • Royal Fizz: I love bath fizzers! This one has a clean scent that is slightly floral. I can't wait to use it in my next bath.
  • Sample Soap: The sample soap is a generous size and has a fleur de lis decoration on top. I love the scent, it's warm and floral, and the soap lathers up nicely. I already have it sitting in my bathroom.

All three soaps smell so good and are so beautiful! I love the designs and coloring of all of them.
Bottom Line: The Renaissance Bath and Body soap box is a great value. I've seen similar boxes for much higher prices. All of the products were extremely well made and smelled so good. I highly recommend this box to anyone looking to treat themselves to a little bit of luxury!
