Musely's FaceRx program makes prescription skincare accessible to everyone. You'll have access to an online dermatologist, personal pharmacist, personalized medication, and an eNurse in the My Musely mobile app.
Musely has products to treat dark spots, melasma, wrinkles, texture, and enlarged pores on the face and body.
When you create your account, you'll fill out a survey that tells Musely your skincare needs and concerns. You'll also upload three photos of your face: forward facing and both sides. After completing the survey, Musely will recommend the products that will best suit your skin. You can then sign up for a one-time purchase or subscription and a consultation with their dermatologist. The consultation costs $20 on top of the cost of the product(s).
I received the Anti-Aging Night Cream for dull skin and wrinkles. I'm in my 30s now, so focusing on anti-aging is a must. Even if you're in your 20s I recommend starting an anti-aging regimen since it's never too early for preventive care!
The shipment comes with information on the free Musely mobile app, which you can use to set reminders to use your products and consult with an eNurse. There's also information about the products and pharmacy.
The Anti-Aging Night Cream has 0.05 percent Tretinoin cream and the instructions say to apply a pea-sized amount at night. Other ingredients include hyaluronic acid and niacinamide to treat wrinkles and fade sun damage. Tretinoin helps turn over skin cells and boost collagen production, niacinamide is a hydrating skin brightener that also shrinks pores, and hyaluronic acid reduces visibility of fine lines and wrinkles and helps skin retain moisture.
The tretinoin cream provides similar results to retinol cream; however, this particular cream does not have retinol in it. I haven't had great results with retinol, it's a bit too harsh on my skin, but the tretinoin hasn't caused any of the standard "purge" period that retinol sometimes does. This cream is the best cream for wrinkles!
Bottom Line: Musely's FaceRx subscription is a convenient and comprehensive way to treat skin issues. You can access a medical doctor, pharmacy, and continued support through their mobile app without even having to leave your home!
