JM Solution Marine Luminous Pearl Multi Balm Review and $15 Off Coupon

I've been buying a lot of new skincare recently and realized I should be reviewing the products on here! My most recent purchase is the JM Solution Marine Luminous Pearl Multi Balm.

*Disclaimer: This product was purchased by See, Shop, Love! Post contains referral links.

JM Solution is a Korean skincare brand that actor Jung Hae-in is a spokesperson for, which, honestly is why I noticed the brand. I had tried a few of their sheet masks before but nothing more than that.

Like I said, I've been buying more skincare and investing in a more solid skincare routine. A 10-step Korean skincare routine is not necessary for everyone, but it's something I enjoy. My nighttime routine is especially soothing and relaxing. So I've been looking more into products beyond the standard cleanser, moisturizer, and masks.

The Marine Luminous Pearl Multi Balm is a new product that's available from the Korean JM Solution website. They do have a U.S. store; however, there aren't as many products on that shop. If you want to order this and you live in the U.S. like I do, you can get it from sites like Holi Holic.

So what is a Multi-Balm? Basically, it's a serum in a stick. The balm is available in Honey Luminous Royal Propolis and Water Luminous S.O.S. Ringer as well, but I chose the Marine Pearl for its brightening and hydration properties.

The balm contains 50 percent moisture essence to instantly soothe skin and deliver moisture. I was worried it might feel too thick or greasy on my oily skin, but it applies silky-smooth and doesn't feel heavy at all. It actually felt quite refreshing to spread this across my face. Normally you'll want to use this as the last step of your skincare, but you can also use it throughout the day when you need refreshing.

I like that it's in a solid balm form because it makes it great for travel, especially air travel (since it's not a liquid). I can also see this being nice and soothing after a day in the sun, as it felt slightly cooling on my skin when I first applied it.

  • Visit Holi Holic to purchase the JM Solution Multi Balms
    • Use this link for $15 off your first order

Bottom Line: I'm glad I took a chance on the JM Solution Marine Luminous Pearl Multi Balm because it turned out to be a great little serum. JM Solution's products are affordably priced and I've enjoyed every one that I've used, including this balm.

A'pieu Best Sellers Box Review and 30% Off Coupon

I had my eye on the A'pieu Best Sellers Box for a while and I finally picked one up during MISSHA's Valentine's Day sale. A'pieu is a sister brand of MISSHA and has great Korean skincare.

*Disclaimer: This box was purchased by See, Shop, Love!

I am a skincare addict and MISSHA and A'pieu are two of my favorite brands. This box was especially interesting to me because it came with products perfect for my skincare needs, plus cute BT21 extras!

BT21 is a collection of Line Friends characters created with the K-pop group, BTS. Each character represents one of the members of the group. I'm not the hugest BTS fan, to be honest, but I do like their music and K-pop in general.

The box came with seven randomly-selected BT21 items and, unfortunately, none featured my favorite, Cooky (Jungkook's character). The items are really cute, though, and I'm sure I can trade or sell the ones I won't use. Here's what was included:
  • Gel Pen (Baby RJ)
  • Passport Case (Mang)
  • Removable Stickers (x2 - Tata)
  • Wappen Sticker (Chimmy)
  • Puffy Keychain (Shooky)
  • Plush Magnet (Shooky)

The box contains both makeup and skincare. I'd never used the A'pieu makeup line before so I figured this was a good way to try them out. Included items are:
  • Born to Be Mad Proof Liquid Liner (No. 1) - $18
  • Born to Be Mad Proof Fixing Mascara Lv. 3 - $18
  • Juicy Pang Color Lip Balm (CR01) - $16
  • Juicy Pang Jelly Blusher (BE01) - $12

Along with the makeup, the box contained four skincare items. I was immediately interested in the Madecassoside products, as I use the cream and wanted to try the ampoule, too. The Mulberry toner is great for my oily skin, too. Here's what was inside:
  • Madecassoside Cream 2X - $20
  • Madecassoside Ampoule 2X - $32
  • Mulberry Blemish Clearing Toner - $28
  • Fusidium Clear Spot Patches - $12

Madecassoside is great for fighting redness and irritation and is the main ingredient in cica/centella asiatica/Tiger Cream. The cream hydrates and soothes and the ampoule adds extra moisture and repairs the skin barrier.

The Mulberry Blemish Clearing Toner is enriched with Vitamin C, mulberry extract, and tranexamic acid to fade dark spots and hyperpigmentation.

The Fusidium Clear Spot Patches are hydrocolloid patches that help prevent scarring and infection on open acne. I haven't used this particular brand yet, but hydrocolloid patches have been a lifesaver for me when I have breakouts (they pull out extra moisture and pus from the pimple).

The A'pieu Best Sellers box is a great deal, with a total retail value of $156, not including the BT21 items! I purchased this on sale for $39.99, and it is still on sale for that price at the Missha website.

If you're interested in the box, I also have a referral link that will get you 30% off your first order. Just click this link to shop. I am not sure if it will work on the Best Sellers box or other items that are currently on sale. The box is final sale and not returnable, and you can't choose which BT21 characters you'll receive, but the skincare and makeup included is such a great value!

  • Visit MISSHA's website to view their full line and purchase this box

Eva Naturals Skincare Review

The team at Eva Naturals creates consciously-curated skincare made from botanicals and safe science-based ingredients.

*Disclaimer: These products were sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Eva Naturals is a family-owned company located in South Louisiana. They believe in affordable, accessible healthcare that adheres to the most rigorous industry standards. Everything is made in the United States and sold directly to the consumer, reducing product costs as much as 50 percent of the cost of other high-end products.

I tried the Vanilla Bean Night Cream Moisturizer, which has anti-aging and revitalizing properties of Vanilla Bean. It also contains CoQ10 to promote collagen production and visibly reduce wrinkles and Shiitake mushrooms to brighten complexion.

It smells lovely. I usually am not interested in scented skincare, but this one has a light scent that didn't irritate my skin. The texture is very creamy and thick, making it great for the dryer winter months. A little goes a long way and it absorbed quickly into my skin.

The Exfoliating Facial Scrub is gentle and effective, with nutrients from aloe vera and organic herbal infusions to help skin have a glowing, even complexion. I was surprised to see the jelly consistency, as I expected it to be more cream-based. It was a pleasant surprise!

This physical exfoliator is a great addition to a routine that also involves chemical exfoliation. I use both types, and I will definitely purchase this again in the future. I like how it spreads evenly due to the consistency and has a gentle scrub.

Here's a look at the ingredient lists for the Vanilla Bean Night Cream and Exfoliating Night Scrub. Unfortunately the text on the scrub is a little light, but you can click on the product link above to view them.

Bottom Line: Eva Naturals is an affordable way to add high quality botanical and natural skincare into your routine. I really enjoyed both of these products, especially the scrub.

Musely Skincare Review and Coupon

The FaceRx program from Musely sends prescription skincare right to your door. They'll customize a routine specifically to treat your needs!

*Disclaimer: This product was purchased by See, Shop, Love! at a discounted price in exchange for an honest review. Post contains referral drinks.

Musely's FaceRx program makes prescription skincare accessible to everyone. You'll have access to an online dermatologist, personal pharmacist, personalized medication, and an eNurse in the My Musely mobile app.

Musely has products to treat dark spots, melasma, wrinkles, texture, and enlarged pores on the face and body.

When you create your account, you'll fill out a survey that tells Musely your skincare needs and concerns. You'll also upload three photos of your face: forward facing and both sides. After completing the survey, Musely will recommend the products that will best suit your skin. You can then sign up for a one-time purchase or subscription and a consultation with their dermatologist. The consultation costs $20 on top of the cost of the product(s).

I received the Anti-Aging Night Cream for dull skin and wrinkles. I'm in my 30s now, so focusing on anti-aging is a must. Even if you're in your 20s I recommend starting an anti-aging regimen since it's never too early for preventive care!

The shipment comes with information on the free Musely mobile app, which you can use to set reminders to use your products and consult with an eNurse. There's also information about the products and pharmacy.

The Anti-Aging Night Cream has 0.05 percent Tretinoin cream and the instructions say to apply a pea-sized amount at night. Other ingredients include hyaluronic acid and niacinamide to treat wrinkles and fade sun damage. Tretinoin helps turn over skin cells and boost collagen production, niacinamide is a hydrating skin brightener that also shrinks pores, and hyaluronic acid reduces visibility of fine lines and wrinkles and helps skin retain moisture.

The tretinoin cream provides similar results to retinol cream; however, this particular cream does not have retinol in it. I haven't had great results with retinol, it's a bit too harsh on my skin, but the tretinoin hasn't caused any of the standard "purge" period that retinol sometimes does. This cream is the best cream for wrinkles!

  • Visit Musely to sign up
    • Use this link and code DS9464 for 30 percent off your order

Bottom Line: Musely's FaceRx subscription is a convenient and comprehensive way to treat skin issues. You can access a medical doctor, pharmacy, and continued support through their mobile app without even having to leave your home!

Mantra Masks CBD Sheet Masks Review

CBD has been popping up in skincare a lot more recently, and Mantra Mask uses this ingredient to create sheet masks with powerful skin healing properties.

*Disclaimer: These products sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

CBD, or cannabidiol, is a cannabinoid that yes, is found in marijuana. However, CBD itself is derived from the hemp plant and does not provide a high the way THC does. It's perfectly safe to use and legal. It's great for skincare purposes because it provides antioxidants and anti-inflammatory benefits.

The Mantra Mask sheet masks are free from sulfates, alcohols, phthalates, formaldehyde, parabens, and dyes and are formulated in the USA.

Mantra Mask has seven sheet masks available: Blemish, Anti-Aging, After Sun, Pore Refining, Collagen, Repair, and Marine Hydration. I received the Anti-Aging, Pore Refining, Marine Hydration, and Collagen masks to try as well as the Coconut Eye Gels.

The CBD is 99 percent pure and contains no THC (the cannabinoid in marijuana that provides the high). Their all-natural formulas work with the CBD to restore skin to its natural radiance.

Here's a look at the ingredients in the Pore Refining mask. All of the masks felt great on my skin, especially in this hot and humid weather. The serum is soothing and my skin felt refreshed after leaving it on for about 10 minutes. I also woke up with really soft skin the next morning!

I have issues with redness, so CBD is a great ingredient for calming that. It also helps de-puff skin and keep it looking its healthiest. Combined with the other natural ingredients in the Mantra Masks, it makes for a great product!

Bottom Line: Mantra Mask sheet masks are a great way to work CBD into your skincare. I found the masks to be very soothing and they have ones for all different skincare needs.

Miami Beach Bum Signature Bum + Body Cream Review and Coupon

If you're searching for a little bit of an escape during these winter months, Miami Beach Bum has vegan skincare that can whisk you away to someplace tropical, at least in your imagination!

*Disclaimer: This product was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review. Post contains affiliate links.

Miami Beach Bum was created by Ayssa, a marine scientist who created plant-based products after developing folliculitis from wet bathing suits. The first product was the signature Bum + Body Cream.

Miami Beach Bum is a women-owned and operated business that uses quality plant ingredients in their vegan and cruelty-free skincare. They use circular supply chains to minimize environmental impact and all of their products are made in the USA using fair labor practices. They also give back to 501(c)(3) charity Operation Liberation!

I received the Bum + Body Cream in the Lemongrass scent. It's a daily moisturizer with a base of aloe and jojoba combined with oregano to balance skin's microbiome. It provides your skin with a full reset and alleviates skin irritations. It works great for dryness and dullness, folliculitis, acne, eczema, psoriasis, and Keratosis pilaris, and more.

I have mild eczema on the back of my hands that worsens in the dry winter months and this thick cream felt so soothing on those trouble spots! The lemongrass scent is very strong and herbal. The cream is also available in Mint and Orange.

A little goes a along way here and the formula is thick but absorbed quickly into my skin. I used it all over after showering and it made my skin feel soft and left it smelling great! Normally I would gravitate towards something warmer smelling (vanilla, cinnamon, etc) for the winter, but the bright lemongrass scent was a nice change of pace and reminded me of warmer weather.

Bottom Line: Miami Beach Bum has a great line of products and their Bum + Body Cream is a great daily moisturizer for all over. I really enjoyed using this and am happy with the results it provided for my eczema.

TONYMOLY All You Need Mask Set Review

I recently picked up the TONYMOLY All You Need Mask Set as a gift for myself. It would also make a great gift for the skincare lover in your life!

*Disclaimer: This box was purchased by See, Shop, love!

TONYMOLY is one of my favorite Korean skincare brands. Their products are affordable, effective, and often really cute, too.

This set contains 13 of their best-selling masks for only $25 (a $48 value). I purchased it directly from their website, and they are currently offering free shipping on orders of $50+.

The back of the box lists all of the masks and their ingredients (click the photo to view larger). There are 10 face masks and three under eye masks.

I love sheet masks. I've heard some criticism that they don't do anything, but I disagree. I'm not a dermatologist or expert in any way, but I use sheet masks at least twice a week and they make my skin feel soft and hydrated after, plus it's a soothing way to relax at the end of the day.

The TONYMOLY masks are shaped well to fit my face (I've had others that hang too long on the nose or chin areas) and have enough serum inside to be effective but not drip everywhere.

There are three Master Lab masks:

  • Master Lab Hyaluronic Acid Sheet Mask (moisturizing)
  • Master Lab Vitamin C Sheet Mask (brightening)
  • Master Lab Collagen Sheet Mask (elasticity)

Three under eye masks:

  • I'm Lemon Gel Eye Patch (brightening)
  • I'm Charcoal Gel Eye Patch (purifying)
  • I'm Red Wine Gel Eye Patch (firming)

And rounding out the set are seven of their "I'm..." masks, which are the ones I see in stores most often:

  • I'm Lavender (hydrating)
  • I'm Aloe (moisturizing)
  • I'm Honey (nourishing)
  • I'm Hemp (calming)
  • I'm Charcoal (pore care)
  • I'm Rose (vitalizing)
  • I'm Cherry Blossom (brightening)

I love this mask set. I usually spend anywhere form $3-$8 per mask when I buy them individually from various brands, so $25 for 13 of them is an excellent value. I'll use all of these and I like that they have several mask types for all different skincare needs.

Bottom Line: The TONYMOLY All You Need Mask Set makes a great gift! You can treat yourself or someone else to this great kit.

Choate BODY Review and Coupon

Choate BODY is a Black-owned organic skincare company from founder Rhandi Kai. They offer a broad range of products to soothe skin and keep you looking and feeling amazing!

*Disclaimer: These products were sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Choate Body (pronounced ko-ate) was created by Rhandi to relieve her eczema and extremely dry, sensitive skin. The products are handmade in Cleveland, Ohio with organic ingredients for skin that can't handle conventional skincare. Choate means to be complete and perfected in yourself, your skin, and being you.

I received three products from Choate BODY. The Matcha Peppermint Facial Cleanser comes in a glass bottle with a stopper applicator. It's made with  turmeric, honey, Matcha green tea, French clay, and Castile soap. It soothes sensitive and acne- and eczema-prone skin and naturally helps balance the skin's oil and pH. The natural antioxidants also work to reduce signs of aging, dark marks, and scars.

The liquid has a low viscosity and two drops are enough to use on the entire face. When applied with a bit of water, it lightly foams up and has a refreshing tingling feeling from the peppermint. It was gentle on my skin and left it feeling clean and soothed.

The Organic Body Butter is a hydrating moisturizer that relieves itchy, dry, inflamed skin with raw butters and organic oils. It's great for soothing itch from eczema and psoriasis and also repairs elasticity and minimizes scars and stretch marks.

This is a very rich butter that feels amazing! It has a natural scent from the cocoa and shea butters and the thick texture is great all over, but especially on my hands, elbows, and heels. A little goes a long way, so this jar will last me a while.

Last up is the No. 4 Calm Lavender and Honey Organic Face and Body Scrub. It's made with a blend of organic lavender essential oil and raw honey to help unwind and relax. Exfoliating with this scrub can help release ingrown hairs, and rid skin from dead skin, dirt, and oil that clog pores. It also restores moisture, softens rough, dry skin, lightens dark marks, and reduces scars.

The scrub is quite soft in the jar, once broken apart with the included spoon, and is made with brown sugar. It also contains chamomile, burdock root, grapeseed oil, and kaolin clay. The granules are quite large and would be too rough on my facial skin, but this is great as a body scrub. The scent is lovely, too.

Bottom Line: Choate BODY creates beautiful organic products that are perfect for the dryer winter months (and all year, of course). I'm happy to support this Black-owned business and their high quality products!

Clean Ingredient Spotlight: Activated Charcoal

If you're in tune with the beauty and skincare world at all, then you've likely heard of the benefits of activated charcoal. I love using products with activated charcoal, as they work wonders for my oily skin. I've got four great products featuring this ingredient to share with you today.

*Disclaimer: These products were sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Activated charcoal helps draw dirt, oil, and other pollutants to the surface of skin, helping fight acne and achieve a clear complexion. I have very oily skin and activated charcoal is a miracle ingredient for me! I've been using products with charcoal in them for a while and they really help balance out my skin and remove excess oil. These four products are an easy way to add activated charcoal into your beauty routine.

The Bambusa Blackhead Banisher Pore Perfecting Nose Mask is available at Dermstore.com, Amazon.com, and HydropPeptide.com at $22 for a pack of eight. These pore cleansing strips are made from bamboo extract to smooth uneven roughness and charcoal and volcanic ash to remove excess dirt and oil.

Now, I know pore strips are a little controversial and a lot of dermatology professionals will tell you not to use them. I've also heard from other professionals that they are fine in moderation. I don't like to use them more than once a week or every two weeks, but I do like them for removing excess sebaceous filaments and dirt. These strips adhered well to my skin and did not hurt when removing, and since they are black you could really see the results on the strip.

One of my favorite ways to use charcoal is in a face mask. The G.M. Collin Charcoal Mask is $48 and is available at GMCollin.com. This mask helps capture and eliminate micro-pollutants, revitalize and replenish skin, and purify skin texture while evening your complexion. Ingredients include bamboo charcoal and Persian Silk Tree to increase skin's radiance and Coral Seaweed to revitalize.

The mask has a thicker texture and spread onto my skin smoothly. A little goes a long way. It's appropriate for all skin types and worked great with my oily skin. I left it on for about 10-15 minutes while it dried, and after rinsing off my skin felt clean and refreshed but not overly dry.

The Ethique Charcoal, Kaolin, and Oatmeal Bodywash Bar is great for cleansing the rest of your body. It's available at Target.com and Ethique.com for $11.50. It's vegan and cruelty-free and made without palm oil, and has kaolin clay and activated charcoal for natural cleansing. It also has oatmeal and coconut oil to soothe skin.

I've used other Ethique products in the past and they are excellent quality. I love that they use sustainable ingredients. I used this bar with a pouf sponge in the shower and it felt great after a heavy workout. My skin was left feeling incredibly clean.

The Dr. Natural Activated Charcoal Soap is another great way to use activated charcoal to cleans your body. You can get a huge 32 fl oz bottle from Amazon for only $10.99. It is available in Citrus, Lavender, and Mint scents and is free from sulfates, parabens, dyes, and is cruelty-free. The activated charcoal naturally detoxes face, body, and scalp and helps reduce pigmentation and inflammation.

I used this in the shower after working out and it lathered up well with a sponge, despite being sulfate-free (sulfates are what helps products bubble up and sometimes sulfate-free products don't lather as well). It did leave my skin feeling tightened and a bit dry, so definitely use a body moisturizer after getting out of the shower. I don't know that I would use this on my face, but it was a great body wash.

Last up is the Petite Amie Skincare Hydrating Bamboo Charcoal Masque, which is $8 at PetiteAmieSkincare.com and Amazon. It's a gentle mask made from 100 percent bamboo charcoal to balance and hydrate skin. It also includes honey for balancing and olive leaf to quench dehydrated skin. Hydrolized soy protein boosts skin's texture and luminosity.

This mask felt great on my skin and I loved the beautiful packaging. The mask itself was a black sheet mask, but I always appreciate a nice package presentation. My skin felt hydrated and soothed after use.

Bottom Line: If you want to add activated charcoal products to your routine, these five are a great place to start. Charcoal is great for all skin types and helps keep your face and body clean and balanced.

ApotheCARE Essentials Review

ApotheCARE Essentials creates targeted skin care, hair care, and cleansing products that are grounded in the purity of nature and proven, scientific approaches to optimized beauty solutions. I tried two of their skin and hair care products recently and I love them!

*Disclaimer: These products were sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

ApotheCARE Essentials use traditional apothecary wisdom and cutting edge modern science to create products that deliver optimal results. They use carefully selected ingredients that are known for their hair and skin benefits. They use a phyto-extraction technique to extract the core essentials of six plants: burdock (detox), white willow (soothing), rosemary (refreshing), ginkgo biloba (balancing), sage (purifying), and seabuckthron (revitalizing).

The products can be purchased at stores like CVS, Target, and Ulta.

Their recently launched THE RESCUER Anti-Dandruff 2-in-1 Shampoo and Conditioner is free from parabens, silicones, and dyes. It's safe for all hair types, but is specially made to combat dandruff. Ingredients include eucalyptus to soothe and salicylic acid to control flaky scalp.

I have a very oily scalp and dandruff so I was excited to try this shampoo and conditioner. Salicylic acid is a great ingredient for balancing oil production. I used this after my hapkido (Korean martial art) class when my hair was especially sweaty and dirty and it left my scalp and hair feeling so clean! I did find that it was a little harsh on my scalp (salicylic acid is really powerful) for daily use, but I definitely recommend using this once or twice a week if you have issues with oiliness or dandruff.

I also tried two products from the ApotheCARE Essentials skincare line, including the phytoQUENCH Hydrating Day Lotion. It contains Japanese blood grass and burdock roots that help trap moisture into the skin to maintain hydration. The lotion comes in an air pump dispenser, making it easy to get just the right amount and not waste any product. It feels silky-smooth on my skin and absorbs quickly. This is a lovely daily moisturizer.

My favorite product of the three is the phytoQUENCH Replenishing Serum. It also contains Japanese blood glass and burdock root, along with hyaluronic acid, to help seal moisture into the skin. It's incredibly light and smells so good! The dispenser is a dropper bottle, and just two or three drops are enough to cover my entire face and neck area. It glides on smoothly and feels great on my skin.

I have noticed a difference in my hair and skin after using the ApotheCARE Essentials products for about a month. My skin feels much more hydrated after using the phytoQUENCH products, and my hair is less oily with the THE RESCUER shampoo and conditioner!
Bottom Line: I think ApotheCARE Essentials has a great line of products at affordable prices. They use high quality ingredients and each of the products I tried worked well with my needs.
