Desert Harvest Aloe Vera Shampoo and Conditioner Review

The shampoo and conditioner from Desert Harvest is made with non-GMO aloe vera, a rich source of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, natural antibacterials, antivirals, antifungals, and inflammation-fighting properties.

*Disclaimer: These products were sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Desert Harvest has plenty of aloe vera products, including supplements and skincare. Their Aloe Herbal Shampoo and Shower Gel and Aloe Herbal Conditioner were interesting to me because they're a natural way to fight dandruff.

The Shampoo and Shower Gel is made with aloe vera, herbs, and essential fatty acids that help remove dulling residue from hair to reveal natural shine. It can also be used as a shower gel to gently cleanse skin and is great for all types of dandruff on the scalp. It's safe for sensitive skin and color treated hair.

The Conditioner is made with organic aloe vera, vitamins, herbs, and essential oils to transform dry, damaged, and over-treated hair in minutes. It's chemical free and can be used daily to moisturize and nourish hair.

Both the Shampoo and Conditioner have no artificial ingredients and have 100 percent organic aloe vera as the number one ingredient (as you can see in the ingredient list above). They're also cruelty-free and have no parabens or synthetic preservatives.

I have oily scalp and pretty bad dandruff so I need to wash my hair every day, but that can get pretty drying. I used the Desert Harvest Shampoo and Conditioner and they left my hair feeling soft and nourished and my scalp was calmed without feeling overly-dry. I like using these in addition to my other dandruff shampoos to balance out my scalp.

Bottom Line: The Desert Harvest line of products is an affordable way to treat your body to natural and potent aloe vera. I've had great results with their Shampoo and Conditioner and highly recommend both!

Bombay Hair Curling Wand Review

Bombay Hair is creating hair extensions and styling tools to make sure your look is always on point! I tried one of their curling wands and am excited to share the results with you today.

*Disclaimer: This product was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Bombay Hair aims to provide the best hair extensions and styling tools at revolutionary prices. Instead of thin, expensive extensions, they wanted to create thick, lush extensions from Remy and virgin human hair at the best price possible.

They also have a line of beautiful styling tools made from various precious metals to help style both extensions and natural hair.

Bombay Hair has several heat styling tools, including curling irons with and without clamps, flat irons, hair dryers, a hair waver, and Curling Wands with 5-in-1 and 3-in-1 attachments

I received the 25mm Rose Gold Curling Wand, which is currently on sale for $52 for Black Friday!

The barrel is 100 percent titanium with a beautiful rose gold color and no clamp. It comes with a wand stand and heat resistant glove. The temperature is adjustable from 150˚F to 450˚F (65˚C to 230˚C).

Bombay Hair also offers a one year limited warranty on the wand and you can return or exchange full priced items within 14 days of receiving your order (items sold at a discount qualify for an exchange only and are subject to a restocking fee).

I love this wand! This was my first time using a clampless curling wand and I think the results are pretty nice. I like that it gives looser waves than a curling iron with a clamp, making it look more natural. It was pretty easy to use, but the heat glove is a nice accessory if you're just learning how to curl your hair (to keep you safe from any potential burns).
Bottom Line: I think the Bombay Hair 25mm Rose Gold Curling Wand is a great investment. It gave me lovely loose curls in just a few minutes. The product is high quality and I have no complaints!

Suave Hair Care Review

I used to use Suave products all the time in high school but hadn't much thought about them recently. I got to try some of their newer products and am glad I did, because they're really great quality!

*Disclaimer: These products were sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Suave has styling and cleansing products for men and women. I requested products to help add volume and moisture for thick hair and got to try the Control Finishing Hairspray, Sleek Anti-Frizz Smooth and Shine Cream, Volume + Fullness Dry Shampoo, and Rose Oil Infusion Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner.

The Rose Oil Infusion Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner is made with pure rose oil and has a long lasting rose fragrance. It's great for adding weightless, natural body and volume to normal to flat hair. It's also safe for color-treated hair. I have pretty thick hair, but this still provided a decent amount of volume after blowdrying.

The Flexible Control Finishing Hairspray smooths frizz and flyaways and has a humidity-defense complex for a 24 hour crunch-free hold. I don't usually use hairsprays, but I tried this one out to tame down flyaways that I have when I put my hair up. It has a great hold and is nice and lightweight. It also has an amazing scent! It's kind of sweet but woody at the same time, if that makes sense.

The Volume and Fullness Dry Shampoo is my favorite product of the bunch. It has the same great scent as the hairspray and is one of the best dry shampoos I've ever used. It has a very fine mist and doesn't have that chalky texture that some dry shampoos have, which I really like. It did a great job of absorbing oil and adding some volume without weighing down my hair.

The Sleek Anti-Frizz Smooth & Shine Cream has a smooth, lightweight formula that tames flyaways and gives all-day control and shine. It works best when used with the Sleek Shampoo and Sleek Conditioner. I used a dime sized amount, as instructed, before blow drying and it left my hair feeling nice and soft.
  •  Visit Suave to learn more and purchase
Bottom Line: I'm glad I was able to take another look at Suave's styling products, because I was very impressed by how well all of them worked. They're incredibly affordable and available at almost every store you could think of, so be sure to check them out for your haircare needs!

ApotheCARE Essentials Review

ApotheCARE Essentials creates targeted skin care, hair care, and cleansing products that are grounded in the purity of nature and proven, scientific approaches to optimized beauty solutions. I tried two of their skin and hair care products recently and I love them!

*Disclaimer: These products were sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

ApotheCARE Essentials use traditional apothecary wisdom and cutting edge modern science to create products that deliver optimal results. They use carefully selected ingredients that are known for their hair and skin benefits. They use a phyto-extraction technique to extract the core essentials of six plants: burdock (detox), white willow (soothing), rosemary (refreshing), ginkgo biloba (balancing), sage (purifying), and seabuckthron (revitalizing).

The products can be purchased at stores like CVS, Target, and Ulta.

Their recently launched THE RESCUER Anti-Dandruff 2-in-1 Shampoo and Conditioner is free from parabens, silicones, and dyes. It's safe for all hair types, but is specially made to combat dandruff. Ingredients include eucalyptus to soothe and salicylic acid to control flaky scalp.

I have a very oily scalp and dandruff so I was excited to try this shampoo and conditioner. Salicylic acid is a great ingredient for balancing oil production. I used this after my hapkido (Korean martial art) class when my hair was especially sweaty and dirty and it left my scalp and hair feeling so clean! I did find that it was a little harsh on my scalp (salicylic acid is really powerful) for daily use, but I definitely recommend using this once or twice a week if you have issues with oiliness or dandruff.

I also tried two products from the ApotheCARE Essentials skincare line, including the phytoQUENCH Hydrating Day Lotion. It contains Japanese blood grass and burdock roots that help trap moisture into the skin to maintain hydration. The lotion comes in an air pump dispenser, making it easy to get just the right amount and not waste any product. It feels silky-smooth on my skin and absorbs quickly. This is a lovely daily moisturizer.

My favorite product of the three is the phytoQUENCH Replenishing Serum. It also contains Japanese blood glass and burdock root, along with hyaluronic acid, to help seal moisture into the skin. It's incredibly light and smells so good! The dispenser is a dropper bottle, and just two or three drops are enough to cover my entire face and neck area. It glides on smoothly and feels great on my skin.

I have noticed a difference in my hair and skin after using the ApotheCARE Essentials products for about a month. My skin feels much more hydrated after using the phytoQUENCH products, and my hair is less oily with the THE RESCUER shampoo and conditioner!
Bottom Line: I think ApotheCARE Essentials has a great line of products at affordable prices. They use high quality ingredients and each of the products I tried worked well with my needs.

Birchbox "The Hair Texturizing Kit" Review

I am obsessed with hai care products. There are times when I have to deliberately tell myself not to go to Sephora when I'm at the mall because I know I'll buy another one that I don't really need. My favorites are texture sprays, and the Hair Texturizing Kit from Birchbox helped me find some great new favorites!

*Disclaimer: This box was purchased by See, Shop, Love!

I picked up this kit for 50 percent off during Birchbox's after Christmas sale for only $15, but it's still available at the full price of $30. $15 was an absolute steal, but it's still a really good deal for $30.

The kit comes with six different texture products, all of which are travel-friendly sizes. I decided to purchase not only because I love trying new texture sprays, but also because I always need one for travel.

I saw some old favorites (bumble & bumble and Oribe) and new brands that I had been meaning to try, so I really couldn't pass this kit up. Most of these retail for $30+ each full-sized, so I really can't emphasize enough what a good deal this kit is.

I assumed that every product would be a texture spray, but there's a texture foam from Ouai and a more hairspray-like one from Fave4.

I'm saving the best for first: the Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray ($46 full-sized). Anyone familiar with haircare will know that Oribe is the top of the top when it comes to styling products. I absolutely love this brand and treat myself to their products on occasion, but generally they're a little too pricey for me to use on a regular basis. I've used this spray before and it is absolutely amazing. It provides just enough texture and hold without weighing my hair down or feeling chalky. It also smells so good! I'm going to save this for special occasions.

Another favorite of mine is the Bumble & bumble Thickening Dryspun Texture Spray ($31). This provides a light-to-medium hold and is super gentle on hair. I currently use it all over my hair, but I especially like spraying it at my roots because it provides lift without a lot of residue.

The Living Proof Full Dry Volume Blast ($29) is another spray I've used before and I have to say it's just okay to me. It does provide decent hold and texture, but my thick hair falls out of the style after a few hours when I use this. It's probably best for someone with thinner hair than me.

I was excited to try the amika un.done Volume and Matte Texture Spray ($25) because I love their dry shampoos. This spray felt the most like a dry shampoo to me but it did provide decent texture and hold. I probably wouldn't purchase a full sized bottle, though.

I've used a few other products from Ouai before that have worked well, so I was also excited to try this Ouai Dry Texture Foam. I currently use a texture foam from IGK Hair (Sunday Funday) and it works great, so I was comparing this to that. Unfortunately, Ouai's version did not do much to transform my hair. You're supposed to apply a ping pong ball sized amount to dry hair (working from ends to roots) to add texture, but it really didn't add anything to my hair. Maybe it's because my hair is already pretty thick -- this may work better on thinner hair.

Last up is the Fave4 Texture Takeover oomph Enhancing Spray ($18). To be completely honest, I was least interested in trying this one because I saw that it was a three-in-one texturizer, dry shampoo, and hair spray. I usually stay away from hair sprays because they make my hair too crunchy, but I was very wrong on this one! It's actually my favorite of the bunch and I plan to buy a full-sized bottle once I use up my current texture sprays. I especially love the price point; only $18! It provided the best hold and texture and my style lasted all day long.
  • Visit Birchbox to purchase the Hair Texturizing Kit
Bottom Line: The exclusive Hair Texturizing Kit from Birchbox was perfect for me! If you like experimenting with these types of products I highly recommend picking up this kit. I hope you find some new favorites, too!

Clean Enhanced Organics Repair Intensive Restructuring Treatment Review

I'm always looking for hair products that will help heal my heat-damaged hair. I have a short cut so I pretty much have to at least blow dry my hair every day, and all that heat adds up. The Clean Enhanced Organics Repair Intensive Restructuring Treatment is the perfect product to help out stressed strands!

*Disclaimer: This product was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

The Repair Intensive Restructuring Treatment addresses hair damaged by environmental stress, heat styling, or chemical treatments. It not only repairs hair, but also restructures strands for healthy, full-bodied look. It works best when used with other Clean Enhanced Organics shampoos and conditioners, along with the Repair Style Spray and Repair Hair Oil Treatment.

The mask is formulated with organic aloe, chamomile, lavender, and lemon balm extracts. The natural ingredients help create healthier hair without the use of harsh chemicals.

The 8 oz jar is enough to last a long time. You can use it one to two times a week, or as needed. Just add it to towel-dried hair from roots to ends and leave in for two to five minutes, then rinse out thoroughly. I have an oily scalp so I didn't apply this to my roots, but I applied down my hair from about one inch off my scalp and down.

The mask is a creamy consistency with a slightly floral, slightly sweet smell. It was easy to work through my hair and rinsed out well. My hair felt super soft after drying it but not weighed down at all. I've only been using this for about two weeks, but I will definitely continue to do so, because I've seen great results so far!
Bottom Line: The Clean Enhanced Organics Repair Intensive Restructuring Treatment is a must-have for anyone who regularly heat styles their hair or has other damage. It's easy to use, smells great, and works even better! The natural ingredients are a huge plus, and the whole experience left my hair feeling soft and smooth.

Phillip Adam Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo Review

Phillip Adam is a family-run company that creates all-natural hair and skin care products with clean and botanical ingredients. I've been using their Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo and it's wonderful!

*Disclaimer: These products were sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Phillip Adam worked as a hairdresser for 50 years prior to starting his own line of products. He wanted to create hair care that was clean and free of any harsh chemicals that still produced salon-quality results. The products are available at stores like Whole Foods, Choices Markets, and more.

The Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo and Conditioner are biodegradable, vegan, cruelty-free, and free from gluten, sulfates, and parabens. They're great for every day use and appropriate for all types of hair, including color treated hair.

The Shampoo balances the scalp's pH level and keeps it healthy over time. Hair is left clean, shiny, and soft. The conditioner does the same, as well as detangling and controlling static electricity in the hair, leaving it nice and smooth.

My first thought when I heard about the Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo and Conditioner was: do they smell like apple cider vinegar? If you've ever smelled the vinegar by itself, you know it's pretty pungent. Good news -- both the shampoo and conditioner have a delicious green apple scent that is fruity and wonderful, not the sharp vinegar smell of regular apple cider vinegar.

Here's a look at the ingredients for both products. As you can see, there's a lot of good stuff in there, including fruit extracts and other natural ingredients.

I've used the Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo and Conditioner for a week and I love them! I have an oily scalp but hair that I heat style regularly, so I need something that will balance my scalp while being gentle on my hair. These products are great at both, plus they smell so good!
  • Visit the Phillip Adam website to browse their full line of products
Bottom Line: The Phillip Adam Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo and Conditioner are an affordable, salon-quality set that will leave your hair smelling and looking great! I highly recommend it for all hair types.

Spring Beauty Must Haves!

Spring has arrived, and I think spring weather has finally arrived in my area, too! I'm thankful that the days are longer and getting warmer, but that means it's time to prepare for shorts, skirts, and warmer weather clothes!

*Disclaimer: These products were sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

I have some great products to share with you today that will help you get ready for the new season.

After months of hiding my feet away under wool socks and winter boots, a good exfoliation is necessary. The Pumice and Peppermint Foot Polish from Ethique is a solid bar made with peppermint oil, pumice, and cocoa butter to help slough off dead skin. The company is cruelty-free certified by PETA and a B Corporation, meaning they're certified by an outside nonprofit as meeting the strictest standards of social and environmental performance.

The bar smells wonderful; I love peppermint as a refreshing aromatherapy experience. I also want to point out that I damaged the box while trying to open the bar, it didn't come that way. But back to the bar -- the little scrubbies are fine but incredibly effective. This was a real treat to use on my feet, and I would probably use it on my arms and legs, too. Definitely too harsh for face, but a wonderful way to get some exfoliation on the body.

If a body scrub sounds a bit too harsh and you'd rather ease into Spring, the Arbonne Rescue and Renew Detox Bath Soak is a great option! This lovely soak is made up of quick dissolving sea salt crystals that help remove surface impurities and cleanse skin. Turmeric root extract helps boost radiance, ginger root counteracts dull skin, and dandelion extract detoxifies.

I love a relaxing bath and these bath salts are perfect for one. They have a calming scent from only aromatic essential oils of orange, grapefruit, tangerine, eucalyptus, lavender, rosemary, and ginger root. The soak is also vegan and gluten-free. Use a palm-sized amount in your bath for a perfectly soothing experience!

Don't forget to take care of your hair once the sun comes back out! The Anti-Breakage and Repair Antidote Hair Mask from The Mane Choice is made with a signature K.O.M.B. oil infusion (kalahari, oleaster, mongongo, and baobab oils) to keep hair feeling silky soft.

This mask smells amazing! It's slightly sweet and slightly floral. Aside from smelling great, it protects, repairs, and restores damaged hair. The cream penetrates well into all layers of the hair shaft to reduce frizz and deliver shine. It's loaded with fatty acids omega three, six, and nine and leaves hair feeling soft, manageable, and more elastic.

My hair felt so soft after using this! A little goes a long way, although the instructions say to apply generously -- so do what you want with that instruction. I heat style daily, so being able to replenish moisture in my hair is essential and this mask definitely delivers.

Aside from wearing SPF on your face (which you should do regardless of the season or weather!), a great way to treat your skin is with the Dear by Renee Pomegranate Hydrating Mask. It's great for all skin types, especially for hydration after air travel or treating dry, sensitive, and rosacea skin.

The mask has a gel formula that feels very soothing on the skin. Aloe vera leaf and mushroom extracts nourish and soften while Vitamin E and pomegranate seed oil soothe redness, improve tone, and alleviate stressed, sensitive, or irritated skin.

I get stubborn dry patches on my cheeks, especially in colder weather, and this mask felt great both on and after removing. It left my skin feeling soft and supple and is a great way to unwind after a long day.

Last up is the CARA Moisturizer from mehron. This moisturizer has Vitamin E, shea butter, aloe vera, and acai berry extract to restore skin's naturla vitality. Acai has powerful antioxidants to help provide incredible hydration.

The moisturizer is really light and absorbs into skin quickly. I like that it comes in an airtight pump, meaning it won't lose its antioxidant and vitamin effects. It's been working well with my skin and is a great option for a day moisturizer.

Bottom Line: All of these products were a lot of fun to use and are great choices for pampering yourself this spring! Which products are you excited to try?

Love Beauty and Planet Review

Love Beauty and Planet is a new vegan bath and body line that focuses on creating products that are good for you and the planet. Spring is just around the corner, and their lovely scented products are perfect for ushering in the season!

*Disclaimer: These products were sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Love Beauty and Planet has shampoos, conditioners, body washes, and hair and body treatments in six unique collections. They're packaged in 100% recycled bottles and the labels are made with a special adhesive to ensure that they separate cleanly from the bottle during the recycling process to help ensure the bottles are reused.

They also contribute $40 per ton of Greenhouse Gas emitted during the creation, manufacturing, and distribution of their products to a Carbon Tax Fund. This fund is used to support third party programs designed to reduce Greenhouse Gas emissions and landfill waste.

The Hope and Repair Shampoo and Conditioner are for damaged hair. They're infused with organic virgin coconut oil to help repair hair and prevent split ends, and ylang ylang flower oil for freshness. Both smell wonderful and are perfect for my hair. I have a lot of heat damage from straightening or curling mine almost every day, and my hair feels so much more hydrated after I use this shampoo and conditioner.

Here's a look at some of the things the shampoo and conditioner do and don't feature -- lots of good things here! I love that it is a plant-based, vegan cleanser that's cruelty free. If you're worried about it not lathering well, don't -- the shampoo made a good lather that easily rinsed out of my hair.

The Sugar and Rose Creamy Body Scrub is from the Peace and Glow collection. It's infused with ethically-sourced rose absolute from Bulgaria and has a beautiful scent. Usually rose (or floral products in general) makes me sneeze a lot, but this is a gentle perfume with a balance of red berries.

The scrub is gentle but effective. The little grains of sugar are not too harsh or abrasive, and the creamy base left my skin feeling soft and smooth.

Love Beauty and Planet's products are very affordable, with pricing starting at $8.99. I love the Hope and Repair Shampoo and Conditioner and the Sugar and Rose Creamy Body Scrub! All three smell great and worked really well.
Bottom Line: Love Beauty and Planet is a great line of ethically-sourced vegan products that are great for treating yourself to affordable luxury. They have some lovely scents for all types of hair and skin, and you can easily recycle the packaging when you're all done!

Dove Refresh+Care Dry Shampoo Review

My scalp is unfortunately very oily so dry shampoos are a must. I've been using the new Dove Refresh+Care Dry Shampoo line and I'm loving every single one of them!

*Disclaimer: These products were sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

There are four great varieties to choose from: Unscented, Fresh and Floral, Volume and Fullness, and Detox and Purify. The full-sized versions are 5 oz and the Volume and Fullness is available in a travel sized 1.15 oz spray.

I tested all four over the past two weeks and every single one produced great results. I figured the Detox and Purify would work best for my hair type, but I can honestly say that they all were equally fantastic!

The Volume and Fullness shampoo has a weightless formula that cleans and transforms hair from lifeless to bouncy. It absorbs oil between traditional washes. It has a slightly sweet scent that I liked quite a bit. I apply dry shampoo on fresh hair because I like the extra volume and texture it gives, plus if I apply it after my hair is too oily it doesn't do anything but clump up into residue. This gave me good volume and worked well to absorb oil throughout the day.

The Detox and Purify shampoo removes oil from roots without leaving residue for clean, purified hair. It helps control oil so you can skip a regular wash. This one has a clean scent and also left my hair feeling great throughout the day. I could run my fingers through my roots without it feeling too gross or tacky from product and oil build up.

I wasn't sure if I would enjoy the Fresh and Floral shampoo because floral scents tend to make me sneeze and aren't my favorite, but the scent on this is light, fresh, and really enjoyable. It was equally potent and effective at keeping oil at bay as the other shampoos.

The Unscented shampoo is probably the most universally appropriate one for all hair types. If you're looking for an effective dry shampoo that's fragrance free, I highly suggest this one. I like the scented ones a lot, but having an unscented option is great for people with scent allergies or who just simply don't want their hair to smell like any extra fragrance.

Each of these shampoos retails for $3.99, so they're incredibly affordable. The travel sized Volume and Fullness bottle is only $1.99. I've used much more expensive dry shampoos that didn't work nearly as well as these!
  • Visit Dove to learn more and purchase
Bottom Line: I loved every single one of the Dove Refresh+Care Dry Shampoos! The scented ones were fun and I was surprised at how much I liked the Fresh and Floral scent. All four gave me extra volume and texture and helped keep extra oiliness at bay. They're very affordable and effective, so I give them two big thumbs up!

Kenra Professional Summer Collection Review

Kenra Professional recently launched their new summer line, including the Kenra Platinum Snail Anti-Aging Collection, Shaping Spray 21, and Heat Block Hairspray 22! I got a chance to try all of these and am excited to share my results with you.

*Disclaimer: These products were sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review via BrandBacker.

Kenra is a professional haircare brand founded in Indianapolis back in 1929. Since then they've worked to develop best-in-class products that deliver superior and reliable results. They have three unique brands: Kenra, Kenra Professional, and Kenra Color.

The Kenra Platinum Snail Anti-Aging line is the first of its kind I've ever seen or heard of. I know snail essence is commonly used in skincare, but this is the first time I've seen it used in haircare. Snail mucin a popular ingredient in Korean beauty and is made up of proteins, glycolic acids, and elastin.

The line is made up of an Anti-Aging Shampoo, Anti-Aging Conditioner, and Anti-Aging 10-In-1 Complete Corrective (CC) Creme. All three are infused with snail essence for a highly concentrated blend of proteins that are proven to provide youthful hair. The CC Creme weightlessly restores and prolongs youth by fighting all 10 signs of aging hair: dulling, thinning, breakage, frizz, dryness, elasticity, porosity, scalp irritation, unmanageability, and coarse texture.

I've been using this line for the past four days and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. The shampoo and conditioner have a light, fresh scent. The shampoo doesn't produce a ton of lather but it still left my hair feeling clean and soft. The conditioner works well to provide nourishment and soft, moisturized hair. The CC Creme smells wonderful and just two pumps were enough to coat my shoulder-length hair. I think this line is great because we often think about anti-aging skincare, but I can admit I haven't put much thought into anti-aging for my hair prior to using these products. I'm all about preventive care, so if these will keep my hair looking healthy and youthful, I'm all for it! Oh and one last note, no snails were harmed in the creation of these products. The snail essence is a byproduct of escargot farms that has been repurposed for hair and skin products.

The Kenra Platinum Heat Block Spray 22 and Kenra Shaping Spray 21 are also unique.

The Heat Block Spray 22 is made with bee proplis, a natural resin that forms a cast around the cuticle of our hair for strong heat protection. This quick-drying, high-hold spray allows for a clean release from styling tools. What I love most about this is that it protects up to 450°F/232°C. Bee propolis is a resinous mixture that honeybees produce by mixing saliva and beeswax with secretions from tree buds, sap flows, or other botanical sources. Bees use it as a sealant to protect their hives, but in this spray it's used to protect your hair cuticle. I used this spray after I had curled my hair because I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be applied before or after. I know it's a heat spray, but it's also a hair spray that provides maximum hold, so it didn't quite make sense to me to apply it before styling. That being said, it did provide great hold. I'll use this before styling the next time I straighten my hair.

The Shaping Spray 21 is the first ever professional alcohol-free hair spray. It provides maximum moisture retention with an extra firm hold and high shine. It's designed to have a wet application to ensure optimal control and working time for endless styling options. I used this after my hair was already dry but will use it again with wet hair to see how that works, too. It provided great hold for my curls.

Bottom Line: The Kenra Professional Summer Collection has really great products! I love that they are all innovative and effective, and also reasonably priced. The Snail Anti-Aging line left my hair feeling very nourished, and the Shaping Spray and Heat Block Spray provided great protection and hold.
