December Gramma in a Box Review and Coupon

December means Christmas for me, and there's no hobby I like more during the holidays than decorating Christmas cookies! Gramma in a Box is the perfect subscription for anyone who shares this feeling.

*Disclaimer: This box was sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Gramma in a Box is a monthy craft and candy subscription straight from Gramma! Terry, the box's creator, was inspired to share her passion for baking after her grandchildren moved away. She wanted to send them a box of crafts to do and thought it would be a great thing to share with everyone. She was right!

Each box contains three crafts with enough supplies to create up to 20 treats. Everything you need is included, except maybe for common household items like a bowl or spoon. The cookies are pre-baked, so be sure to complete your crafts within a week of receiving the box to ensure freshness. You'll also receive instruction cards for each craft with ingredients and allergens listed on the back.

Here are the pricing options:
  • Monthly: $20 per month
  • Three Months: $55 every three months (save $5)
  • Six Months: $110 every six months (save $10)
  • 12 Months: $220 every 12 months (save $20)
Shipping is free to the U.S. and taxes are included. If you want to cancel, do so by the 25th of the month.

The first craft was Hot Chocolate Treats and consisted of melting chocolate, peppermint candy canes, crushed peppermint, and marshmallows. I forgot to include the crushed peppermint in the above photo, but it was included in the box. To complete the craft, I melted the chocolate in a bowl of my own, then dipped the candy canes into the chocolate before pushing them into the end of a marshmallow. Then I rolled the marshmallow in the chocolate and coated it with the crushed peppermint. The end result is a fun snack you can eat on its own or use to stir (and melt in) hot chocolate!

The second craft was Holly Wreaths and was my favorite of the box! I used the melted chocolate left over from the first craft and dumped the corn flakes into the chocolate. I stirred it around, then scooped some into the paper cups and topped with a cinnamon candy center. So simple, but so creative! They also tasted delicious.

Here's a close up of my completed Hot Chocolate Treats and Holly Wreaths.

The third craft always includes some delicious sugar cookies to frost! The colors of the icing correspond with the month's theme, as do the sprinkles. I also used the leftover peppermint bits to add to some of the cookies. The best part about it all is that the cookies are already baked, so I can just frost and enjoy!

I loved the cute gingerbread men! The shapes were perfect for the holidays.
Bottom Line: Gramma in a Box is so much fun and it's a great subscription to share with your friends and family! Whether you're near or far apart, you can share the love and delicious sweets with this box.
