Manscaped Men's Grooming Review (Slightly NSFW)

When I first approached to review Manscaped I did a quick overview of their website and assumed that they were a men's shaving subscription, so I said of course I'll write up a review. I wasn't wrong -- they are a men's shaving company, but they provide products for keeping it clean "down there."

*Disclaimer: These products were sent to See, Shop, Love! in exchange for an honest review.

Manscaped is not a traditional subscription that sends different items every month, but they do have a a monthly replenishment program that you can opt in to. All of their products are geared towards manscaping, or trimming up around a guy's personal area. If you aren't getting the euphemisms yet, keep reading and I think you'll get it with the names of the products.

This is a review for the The Perfect Package 2.0 kit. It comes with four items, but they're running a special holiday promotion where you can get a complimentary toiletry bag (pictured below) with your purchase, a $39.99 value.

This bag is really well made and is perfect as a dopp kit for travel so I will be putting it to good use.

The Perfect Package kit has all of the essentials:
  • The Lawn Mower 2.0 Electric Trimmer
  • The Plow Safety Razor
  • Crop Preserver Multitasking Moisturizer and Deodorant
  • Crop Reviver Toner and Refresher
When I first opened the package and was going through the items it still didn't hit me that these were specifically for man trimming until I read the descriptions for the Crop Preserver and Crop Reviver. The Crop Preserver is a cream lotion with anti-chafing properties and the Crop Reviver is a pH-balanced spray for the "highly sensitive" areas.

The Lawn Mower 2.0 trimmer has a sleek design and is 100 percent waterproof. The 6,000 RPM motor can handle coarse, curly hair without tugs or pulls. It also comes with two combs for trimming to different lengths. Oh, and it's cordless and rechargeable.

If you're not into the electric trimmer, The Plow safety razor is also included in the kit. It's designed to cut hair at skin level without nicks or bumps. It has a built-in guard with a single blade and a pack of replacement razors included.

If you choose to join the replenishment program, you'll get replacement blade refills for The Lawn Mower and every three months for $14.99 per shipment.

Manscaped also has two smaller kits, The Nuts and Bolts 2.0 and The Keep it Clean Kit. You can also purchase any of their products individually in their shop.
Bottom Line: While I may not have the proper equipment to truly appreciate these products, I think the Manscaped kits are high quality and a great value for manscaping. And ladies, I think we could use these products, too! The kits would make a great gift for the guy in your life this holiday season.
